It is kinda saddening that the next game ain’t about Jin. I know a lot of people considered him dull, but I liked him. His actor’s performance was solid and he had a lot of really cool moments. This game wasn’t trying to present a quirky main guy like Goku or Kenshin. It gave us a guy who came from a very disciplined upbringing who had to start breaking those rules for the first time and I think the game succeed in doing that. Plus, a lot of the other characters in the game were very cool and also had great performances. It’s especially saddening because the entire story of the first game, once you beat it, feels like it was an origin story paving the way for further adventures. That being said, I’m still very excited for the new game and ,much like you, I don’t really care about the new actress’s politics so long as the game is good. And I think trading Jin for this new time period and setting was a worthy trade, since there is ALOT you can do with Hokkaido and the beginning of the Edo period.
I thought he was good. He was great for a game and dlc just thought that was it for him, and think he will always have a legacy with that and starting it. Just not being the franchise.
I don’t give a crap if the MC is a woman, as long as the story is good, and the gameplay is fire, that’s what matters. The trailer looks amazing, and the creators of the game hit it out the park with their first installment, I’m hopeful the second one will do well too.
I don't care about changing MC. I fear the things related to the MC's voice actress snf the involvement of Sweet Baby Inc. There's a lot of issues with these people that may harm the game.
