- Stopping in to Seacliff Beach Hotel in Seacliff, South Australia to take on their challenge of the month: the undefeated "Giant Deli Sandwich" Challenge! Patrons have a one-sitting time limit to finish a 2ft long french baguette loaded with salami, ham, prosciutto, salad, and chipotle mayo along with over 1kg of chips in order to earn their $39 meal for free, a groovy t-shirt, and their spot up on Seacliff Beach Hotel's brand new Wall of Fame!

Under 30 minutes for all of that food is EPIC! I'm stoked to hear that you actually had a lively, and supportive crowd this time.
Also, if this had been a strict time challenge, almost 19 seconds would have been lost from hitting the timer to the first bite. Maybe your timer could be started in a different manner or by someone else so you don't get robbed of those valuable seconds?

I always notice that there’s a good 4-15 seconds lost and if I see her getting “too close” to the time, I always start to worry. 😅

I thought more of the time loss when I originally came across her page, but after watching many of her videos and reading her really nice reply about it, this doesn't really need to be much of a concern for her under normal circumstances. Katina is a legend, and crushes almost all of her challenges and she always does it with exceptional sportsmanship and style.
In our opinion, I think she's the best female in this realm.
We've attempted to watch other female's and they are great, but they always let shit drip down their faces along with food hanging out of their mouths the majority of the challenge which is not only distracting, it's nausea inducing for us.
She handles herself like a true champion and she's very kind/down-to-earth as well.

Great job. You knocked it out of the park! The thing I've realized is Europe and Australia are not part of the "add hot sauce to everything" culture the US has. This means that their "spicy" foods have an appropriate amount of heat to make them truly enjoyable for everyone.
Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) include a small baby bottle of Tobasco. I've seen a lot of sailors on surface ships add hot sauce to scrambled eggs. I prefer Pico de Gallo. But I was on submarines where our food is top shelf.

one of my first places I worked was a fast food sandwich shop. I remember cutting the ham, salami, cheese and capacola every morning for the quick prestacked meat packs or by itself for sandwiches. I saw that sandwich and it all came back to me
