About that paint gun, if I remember correctly you mentioned in another video that it was pulsing the paint output. If so, I have found that there is most likely an air leak between the air passage and the paint passage. Try this, put thinner in the cup and hold the trigger in the air only position and look for bubbles coming out of the paint tube. Works for both siphon or gravity guns. On mine it was the tip not being screwed down enough to have the taper seal at the body. The gasket was too thick. Thats what fixed mine anyway. 🤓👍
That was the other black widow. But, yes, I found a bad o-ring. Unfortunately, they do not sell parts for these. at least not that I've found.
@@JoDaddysGarage - I have been making washers out of nylon if I can’t find a copper one to machine to the required thickness. There’s probably a better plastic to use but not known to me or easy to get I bet. That’s what I get for loaning out my gun.
@Jo Daddy's Garage , harbor freight, when I've called them for other tools, do have replacement parts not shown on their parts list for repair. Also, another youtuber (unless I am mistaken) has stated that the black widow spray guns were the same as made by Sata and likely have rebuild parts. My disclaimer is that I don't have any way to know how accurate his info was...about who manufacturer's the Black Widow guns. If you're having that problem, there have to be others experiencing the same issues.

Maybe you should have used Bullseye adhesive promoter directly over the factory primer. A lot of shops use it on rubber / plastic parts
Adhesion promoter is for raw plastic not primer.
Came out great, silver can be tricky to spray. The texture on the clear matches the old panel so I'm sure it will look great on the car.

Please elaborate on the problem with the black widow spray gun, as to what's wrong with it, and what has to be done to repair it to 100% working condition. TIA.
The topcoat gun I used before had a failed O ring, and it would make the gun "spurt". I should do a video on it.

Do you use the same paint, clear coat and process for the bumper as you would use for a steel panel?
Yes. However, you could add a flex agent for the cover.
