For those who are entering the world of homerecording and bedroom production such a digest of proven plugins is extremely helpful. I support your choice, Patrick. It's only somewhat synth-heavy. What I miss most as a non-drummer are free virtual drumkits 😉 That said, I do like those that come wiht GB.
Hello Patrick! Indeed this is a very nice selection of free AUv3 plugins. Of the ones you mentioned I only have (and use!) the BBC SO. But I also have a few, that you did not mention, and which are imho also great plug-ins. They are: King of FM, Bless monolit, Full Bucket FB-3100, Lin Plug Free Alpha, Moog Model-D, U-He Zebralette and Triple Cheese. Give them a go! Bye!
Cheers Charles! I’ve linked to each instruments website in the description. You will be able to download them from there. Installing each instrument depends on whether they come with an installer or not. More info at this link: ruclips.net/video/mDMSomvLsGE/видео.htmlsi=BIPDH4hF1NwM_dXt
Hi Patrick! Question: Do these work on Garageband ios/ iPad? Especially the BBC orchestra...😅(I have Native Instruments AU with Jacob Collier's Audience Choir app.. won't work with ios, using it on Cakewalk on the laptop😢) Ps: The Jacob Collier Choir App by Native Instruments is Free...works with the Kontakt player... it's very cool! Jacob recorded all his audiences singing, last year on his tour. You can change vowels etc....👍

Nice :) Gotta love the BBC Orchestra.
It’s a good ‘un for sure. The Project Sam orchestra is really good too - I’ll maybe have room for it in the next one!
Hey Patrick ! There is also The Free Orchestra 1 and 2 from the SAM project. Simple to use and great sounds !
Hi Patrick. Excellent video - as always! As a newbie, how would I download any of these AU instrument packs please? Thanks, keep up the good work.

I'm still running Catalina on an intel i5 iMac . Can I still download plugins for Garageband ?
Hi Patrick!

No these are all AU plugins for desktop Rena 👍
Is there a way for me to go from guitar to iPad into an amp to listen to the effects through garage band?
I'm looking for a good farfisa AU plugin? any info would be appreciated.
The bbc orchestra is not free;
Yes it is - make sure you’re looking at BBC orchestra discover and not the full version.
@@TheGaragebandGuide thanks. Will try again.
