Hello, I have only found your podcast today and I thank you for sharing your talent. I'm 73 South African and living in the UK for the last 19 years. I'm amazed at the style and quality of your knitting, because it is so different and intriguing for a South African. I started knitting and crocheting when I was 5, but I think because South Africa is such a warm country, our knitting was very basic. I'm allergic to wool and I thought I had to have a mohair cardigan, because my mother had one. But when my children were small, they didn't like the feeling when sitting close to me. So it seems if you knit acrylic it is the worst thing you can do. So for my allergy, I always managed to find acrylic for my children and for me that was really soft and affordable. I have actually taught myself to knit socks, because my husband needed socks to fit his swollen legs. I mainly used Regia, affordable and very strong and my daughter loves them. My son lives in Taiwan and sometimes in the depth of their short winter will wear his socks. I didn't use RUclips until quite late in my life and am now addicted, but a lot of the knitting and podcasts don't really do much for me. I'm an Afrikaans speaking South African, which is a lot like Dutch/Flemish and I feel much more European than English or American. I do follow "it is a Sarah", a Netherlands lady, you probably know. But have watched your first podcast and will work my way up. Also your beautiful last podcast. If only I knew my daughter would wear your designs, I would try, but she has always known what she wants and likes and also I think a problem with wool. I'm praying for your country, but the world seems to be in a mess. I went to visit my daughter in South Africa and want to cry for what has been done to my country in the last 30 years of so called "democracy " Take care and will follow you from now on. Anita x
I recently have come upon your channel. Thank you so much for. Your knitting is gorgeous. I do, also love your films from Ukraine. I pray also that peace will come soon and your family stays safe!
As always, your construction and design details are beautiful. I love the tree moniker, though the motifs also remind me of the heads of rye or barley 🌾
Drevo is stunning, Teti. I missed the test call, but was waiting for the release. I will be happy to cast it on, both for the construction and for the tree pattern... I hope I will survive the ribbing. :)
Gorgeous sweaters I would love knit both of these, would like to test knit, but I live in Canada! Also a new scriber, lovely channel, glad I found you!
c'est chouette de te voir fabriquer ton cardigan Mama.....ton nouveau pull Drevo est très beau, il n'y a déjà plus de stock de laine Vovo 06 chez Rétrosaria ! 🥰
I love to reuse vintage buttons! There are so many memories! I use buttons from my grandmother's button jar❤

Absolutely beautiful! Good job.....
Thank you so much!
