it seems like you guys always describe cards by memory. thats unlike almost any other channel! 🖒🖒🖒
Ryan duffy they make mistakes sometimes though. I wish they would just read the card.
@@jakeapplegate6642 we don't make very many mistakes and when needed we do read cards word for word
Puppeteer Clique is my all time favorite budget creature. It was the win condition of my Meren deck. The combo was infinite recursion using Mikaeus the Unhallwed with Altar of Dementia as the sac outlet, so you mill out every player, get all their creatures, and they all gain haste, and it even gets around Eldrazi titans, since in response to the graveyard shuffle trigger, you simply steal the titan and then repeat the process until their deck is gone. And even if SOMEHOW they manage to not die to every single creature in their collective decks, AND they manage to somehow shuffle some cards back into their library to avoid the draw-loss, their creatures still all get exiled, which tends to make winning rather hard for them. Of course even without that combo it's still a super solid card for ANY graveyard centered deck. Market price reads as 1.40ish on TCG player, but if you actually look at the purchasing options it's closer to 80 cents.
Puppeteer Clique is the shiz. I run a similar combo in my Marchesa the Black Rose deck, Metallic Mimic and Sage of Fables are my mini Mikaeus'.
I bought a foil Puppeteer Clique because I love him enough to waste $5 on a shiny version of him XD
@@JDPower-ej3rx yeah, you don't NEED mikaeus, but mine's a heavy reaninator value deck, so he was just too good overall, he also just happens to combo off really well with puppet man xD
I love all of these budget cards! I also like Stone-Seeder Hierophant. She may come done a little later than other dorks, but in the right deck your mana production will just explode
Budget Larry Bird is a objectively hilarious way to refer to yourself. ALSO: I really appreciate your collective ability to differentiate good cards from bad cards. (E.g. rec sage commentary vs. Steel Hellkite commentary).
Thanks for the kind words. We are objectively the best lol 😂😂😂
how can you forget skullclamp when talking about trinket mage! shame! heretics! still love you, though :-*
Skullclamp is one of the best cards in the format.
Caustic Caterpillar is a good include in most of my builds that involve green
Mentor of the Meek in an Emmara deck with Presence of Gond on Emmara is so good. Tap Emmara, make a 1/1 soldier and a 1/1 elf, pay 2 and draw 2.
I get the Wheel of Money Reference, 1 respect point for referencing it
I enjoy green removal spells like Unravel the Aether, Deglamer, and Bind. Budget bombs! Great video guys. Tribe scout out.
I like wild pair because you can tutor with some restrictions (you can go mana dork into another dork! Or big beefy boi into another big beefy boi!)
Budget Larry Bird LMFAO that got me good
Evolution sage is broken in half in Windgrace. So much value!!
I had that archeomancer combo deck as a standard back in the day. Do you guys remember that? It wasn't good, but... It was troll good at least
Acidic slime does matter. The lands part is very important. Its a single target budget land destruction. Every deck needs a way to destroy lands.
Evolution sage better then doubling season? Have you ever played this game?
I think I’ve played once or twice before. I just value efficiency and flexibility highly is all
Lotta good stuff in this video guys
Chupacabra is the best of its kind
you forgot to mention poison counters with the counter list there.
WHEEL....
OF MONEY
You should do a budget bombs of creatures that are $5 and under
First tome watching you guys. Subbing because you have Steel Hellkite as your background. My friend hates Steel Hellkite.
Tell your friend to subscribe and watch us from the beginning so he will have wasted a hundred hours only to see Steel Hellkite in this video
@@NitpickingNerds Please tell me you have a video that has 6th Edition Zur's Weirding as a background. He'll go full tilt seeing that card.
Not YET we don’t
@@NitpickingNerds I'm keeping my eyes peeled for it.
Joe's tee with the gold d20 is sick, where did you get it?
It custom made years ago.
Wait, why would you want Steel Hellkite in white? That is the only color I don’t want it in, white can answer any permanent type.
Trinket mage can grab artifact lands.
AwesomeJerkface including darksteel citadel
Evolution sage is a creature so it dies to fast and doubling season dubbles all counters that will be put on anything and doubles also all tokens that will be put on the battlefield
I don’t play rec sage I play cinder vines and mangle horn
just mentioning skullclamp...
#fuqacidicslime
Forgot Drakuseth
Guys like beezy are why all of my play groups have dissolved.
What do you mean?
Damn, that’s a bold claim. I’m also curious, what about Beezy dissolves play groups :o
@@Kazz1187 I think maybe beezy is made of acid and dissolves everything lol
Couldn't agree with this more
I am just too tall 🤷🏻♂️
Woul you run steel hellkite in 5 color golos dragons?
