Dude you are my hero!!!! I have been having extreme pain in my right si joint and have been going to physical therapy for around 2 months with no help! As soon as I tried the first stretch I felt the pop you were talking about and had instant relief! I’m pretty sure my wife thought I was crazy the way I was yelling in excitement over the relief I felt! Thank you so much for putting this video up!

Martin Frazer Yes it really helped me and I make sure to do it every morning before I go to work and when I get home. I also set in a chair all day too for work. I also do a lot of psoas muscle stretches that really helped me out too! I hope you get rid of the pain I know how disabling it can be!!

Outlier117 thank you very much for the reply man i really appreciate it. I will start doing these! This problem gives me a really dull ache in my lower back, seems to get worse when i walk about and im more active. I will start doing these from now on! Im near sure this is the problem i have as when i go to the chriopractor he always has to push my si joint bones back in, the right one sticks out more too. Plus i also have mild scoliosis bending to the right... i know it sucks! Lol thanks man.

I’ve been struggling with lower back pain and SI joint pain for over a year. Pain more to the right side and in the buttock. I have hip shift when squatting which I presume is connected. I’ve done this a couple of times a day for two days now and the improvement is noticeable. I heard a massive crack with the first exercise and haven’t done the other two. Very impressed and I’m going to stick with it.

Oh. My. Goodness. Of all the self adjustments videos I have tried, this was the only one that resulted in any cracking and instant relief! I’ve had chronic SI joint pain/dysfunction for years and have needed monthly OMT treatments for years now. Thanks so much!!

Chad, I cannot thank you enough. I have dealth with chronic low back pain for over a decade. I was a competitive gymnast through college and work in operating room standing on my feet for long hours. I have tried pain medications, muscle relaxants, steroid injections, and chiropractic care. A colleague of mine told me that he tried a few exercises for SI joint pain and it worked wonders for him. I googled this and found your videos. After practicing these three exercises for a week, along with ABduction with a theraband my pain is completely under control. I do have to do this two or three times a day or soreness creeps back in, but I cannot tell you how grateful I am to you. My back hasn't felt this good in over ten years. Is it common for people to have to do these exercises a couple times a day to keep symptoms at bay, or will this go away completely? Thanks again, keep fighting the good fight!

I don't know where to start! You Sir have absolutely saved my life!! I have been dealing with pain everyday for years " Somewhere around 10 years" Im 32 always been fit always good shape, own multiple business in HD truck repair Trucking Company/ Dealer ship. My dad has started a tire shop over 30 years ago in SW MI I've changed 10's of thousands of semi tires lower back and SI joint pain has been with me everyday workdays are always 10-16 hours! The wild days of moto cross racing, and jumping with my knee into the side wall of semi tires to break the bead has payed a giant toll on my SI joints.
I was doing stretches countless times a day massage therapist local chiropractors it all seemed to give a little relief/temporary but never real relief! My legs would stay so tight that i thought i had some type of muscle disease/bulging disk I've changed my diet drink nothing but water you name it I've tried it. watched different youtube videos but where the magic happened is when i watched yours, Followed the steps brought my legs up and squeezed to reset. My groine area popped like nothing I've ever herd multiple pops sounded like a "machine gun" since i have been doing all the SI joint adjust and strengthening routines you recommend. Also the Piriformis stretching! My legs felt so weak as if they haven't been working correctly years! Anyway you have a customer for life, And if i come across a problem i can't figure out with the help of your videos I'm coming to PA to one of your locations.

Dr. Madden, Firstly, you saved me from pain that I have been suffering the entire of last week. Thanks. I got into a mess while practicing an advanced yoga pose called the Vishwamithrasana. It kept hurting and I tried everything I knew from the counter poses etc but since my pain was in the joint and not a muscular one, I couldn’t figure out what to do to help. Thank you for existing and putting these viodeos out. This is the first video I have seen of you and I think I will be returning.
The correction that helped with was the third one that you mentioned (which you said was controversial but had helped several at your clinic). It worked the very first time I tried it and I couldn’t believe it that I recovered from a week of horrible pain, during which I had to curtail my dialy yoga practice and endure pain during routine daily activities. Thank you. Thank you. My blessings to you. Keep up your good work. I wanted to let you know that teacher from South India just benefitted from you sharing your knowledge half way across the world. Magical.

I never realized where the pain in my lower back was coming from because I didn't know the sacroiliac was a moveable joint, for some reason I thought it was stationary and couldn't be popped or adjusted. I did the first move from this video and got instant relief. I have tried so many different ways to try and fix this problem like hanging from something and swing my legs smoothly in circles or I tried using a stability ball and stretching on that, stretching with a forward bend like in yoga helped a bit but nothing like these moves in this video they are very specific and work wonders.
Thank you so much for posting these gems of knowledge.

So I'm doing these before work and after - today when I started to do the first one, I had just started pushing with my knee when my back suddenly flattened to the floor, and then there was a distinct pop. Ahhhh... :-)

Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart! I’ve been in so much pain and moving around with limited function, nearing 4 years. After my seventh baby was born I was never the same. Many tears shed, and little hope left of healing. I started these exercises a few weeks ago after finding this video. I’ve tried everything, even physical therapy. Nothing has helped and no one ever told me this could be my issue. I had xrays and have spent so much time and money looking for help. These videos saved me. It’s almost too good to be true. After that long of pain, you really don’t know what to do when you feel better. Thank you!!! Just, thank you. I would love to hear more about healing techniques after childbirth if you ever can. God bless you for sharing this valuable info!!!

Thank you. I have had a lingering SI problem for weeks and the exercises I was given did not include the tailbone reset. Once I did that I finally got that "pop" and the pain almost completely went away.

I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my hip. The best way to describe the pain is this.. if you sit cross-legged and then try to lean backward.
If I could diagnose this then I could figure out if I needed to go to a doctor come or if I could pop my hip, or if something is out of alignment.
What does it sound like if it hurts when you sit cross-legged and lean backward? This pain started a couple months ago. I'm 34. Didn't have this problem last winter. Thanks for your help

Hey gosh thank you, about ready to get on a plane to PA!! I've been thru the chiropractors here in my small town - they keep missing this!! I think I had unnecessary radio freq ablation and just needed this AND possibly that cranialsacrum you mention below - BUT my questions are what NOT to do, how to stand at the sink and do dishes (I lean against my pelvis) and how to shave my legs if what you describe isn't the right way...:) Thank you!!

I just watched this video and kind of ignored it because i dont like that stretcg, BUT then i read the comments and people are saying this helped. I tried it and didnt get any relief... but then i realized my mistake, your not pulling your knee towards your chest. Your keeping your knee at a right angle and pulling the leg bone in too the hip... so i tried that, and instead of using my hands in between my knees, i put a pillow in-between my knees, and squeezed my knees togethor.. what do you know, i havent ever felt a pop there before. Thanks doc

I’m in the U.K. and see a very good osteopath but he seems very reluctant to treat/pop the s.pubis (? Right terminology). I have ME /fibromyalgia and he gives me a very gentle but thorough treatment. When someone last released it in a treatment I had a very emotional reaction (cried), but great relief. I have had new symptoms which you clearly describe in one of your other videos. I’m going to try your exercises and see what happens.
