It was a PA who finally explained my Incompetent Cervix to me in a way that I clearly understood. She made me feel like I was her only patient for the two days I was in the hospital. She was there at a moments notice, and always showed so much empathy and care. She was ultimately the one to deliver my son at 18 weeks. I'll never forget when she looked me in the eyes and said, "It looks like it's time to meet this little guy!" She respected my son as the little person he was, and she made me feel cared for in my absolute darkest moment. God bless all MFM specialists, especially PAs!
