    Dad and Daughter builds, needs to be a channel of its own mate, you're on to something there!

      Hey, that's an idea! I need to get her up to the bench more, it's been a while since the last one

    I missed it too - sorry real life got in the way but... I hope you are both very proud. I have never had kids, but watching this makes me wish I had 🙂EDIT shared with my sister who is into hobbies, and has a grandaughter about the same age as MiniFen who likes making things with granny.

    Like your one-horned dinosaur I had triceratops and Sytracosaurus hope I spelled it right

    • @fenrismodels
      @fenrismodels  7 месяцев назад

      Which one-horned dinosaur? Chasmosaurus has three, it's just a little hard to see on the baby one lol

      @@fenrismodels I can't remember the name of the book I had that I found in the school library I showed it to my aunt and she got it for me by ordering it it had a lot of dinosaurs but they were in black and white this was in the days before Middle School keep doing that modeling I can't afford to do it nowadays.

    Oh, and I have a question. If I'd try to interest a 5yo niece into scale modeling, which Tamiya dinosaur would You recommend as a first kit?

    • @fenrismodels
      @fenrismodels  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hrmmm... The ones I have built have all been relatively comparative. If she has a favorite dino, I'd say go with that; loving the subject goes a long way with modeling I think. Otherwise, I'd say start with some of the non-diorama sets and work your way up from there. The stegosaurus stenops, for example, was a really solid build (even if it *was* somewhat inaccurate)

    • @calibear569
      @calibear569 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@fenrismodels I think that the accuracy won't be an issue with 5yo. She has Her birthday soon, so Stegosaurus it is. 😊

    I don't have this company's prehistoric creatures but I used to have Aurora's never had the T-Rex my second youngest best friend I had the Allosaurus & some others. Some were mammals especially the woolly mammoth and the saber-toothed cat I also had the three cavemen one of the a woman.

      I've yet to build some of Aurora's old stuff, part of me wants to and part of me is terrified of those molds haha!

  • @calibear569
    @calibear569 8 месяцев назад +1

    That is ultimately impressive!
    Sorry Fenris but I think it's time for You to step aside, retire and cede the channel to the younger generation. She'll definitely manage on Her own. 😊
