Hi Eric, hi Maudi, For me one of the most beautiful edits with real fine subjects. I'd never expected Japan would be so beautiful! Not only the caretaking of infrastructure but special the nature is breathtaking. I love these video's and I'm a bit of jealous on your camerawork and edeting!! Maybe once at home you can make a (partial) living out of it? Also a long time now amazed what you (and we) are experiencing in this bycicle tour. I hope and pray the ongoïng troubles worlwide will not have too much effect on your safe journey and homecoming! Thanks for sharing these beautiful images!! Take care!! Love and hugs, Kees
Loved the upbeatness of this video. All the smiles and laughter is quite refreshing to watch. Laughter is good medicine. I wish I had some of that water. Looked like it was so delicious. Plus that tofu..goodness that looked delicious. Was that Plum Wine that you shared together out of that small bottle? Yum.❤
That was an outstanding video. The care taken to ensure the water stays pure should be an example for the rest of the world. Take care and safe cycling, Al
Just catching up with your video's once again. I find them awe-inspiring and you both a charming couple of soulmates. With half of the World in lockdown (including UK where I am) it's wonderful to see that there is still so much to offer out there which the lockdown makes people appreciate even more. And of course it's a lovely demonstration that with everyone worried about the economy, there is much more enjoyment to be had with very little ,or no money. Thanks for the video's and stay safe!
Thanks for the wonderful compliment Bandy! 🙏 We experienced the most joy with little to no money, the connections we made are the most memorable moments of the journey.
I appreciate that you provide your videos in English, but have also loved the few times in previous videos when for a second you slipped back into Dutch.
Another fantastic video. The villagers of Harie Shozu No Sato fully demonstrate how important it is to appreciate pure clean water for their daily lives. The West take it sometimes for granted as it simply comes out of a tap! Keep cycling E&M. Stay safe out there. Look forward to the next episode. PS: Love the Dutch language. Same as D vM comment below, I too love it when you slip back into Dutch. Can you give us a few Dutch to English translations? Kanpai.
Hi Jeff! Sorry for the late response, somehow we totally overlooked the comments to this video! Now that we're home we can really appreciate the tapwater, it's so delicious compared to bottled water, and convenient... Thanks a lot 🙏
Beautiful historic tour Water Village Lake Biwa. Nice angle footage 1:55 with the bicycle mirror 👍 I really enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience.
Thank you for sharing that rare experience with the locals at the water village. Just a quick observation I noticed as you were discussing the sustainable natural resource, you were drinking water from a disposable paper cup? Is paper used by all or just visitors?
Hey Jack, sorry for the late response. We think the paper cups are just used for visitors! As the people of the village just use their own dinnerware :-)
Hi Matt! We met you at the 'Michi no Eki' right and you showed us the water refill? How are you? Found this somewhat late because of the whole C19 situation. Hope you guys are doing good up there 🙏🏼
It kind of depends on the situation and our spirit... Sometimes we're sleepy and the weather is bad, it can take an hour. Sometimes we're packed and ready to go in 30 minutes... It also depends on if we're having breakfast on our camping location or out on the road.
**** BEST SHOW EVER *** YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME *** KEEP TAKING US WITH YOU EVERY WHERE *** I AM TO BE THERE...YOOOO HOOOOO****
I love you guys, so join-full to watch all your videos. Thanks for sharing

Hi Peaceful wife, sorry for the late response! Yes, the plum wine was delicious, it's called Umeshu in Japan :-)
