Thx for the awnser but know the FC doesn´t work. Can it be if I put a 2s 1300mah Lipo in a FC which has original Lipos with 2s and 350mah can it happen that the FC break? Can I fix it? Please awnser

hello, I've installed the firmware and it works awesome on the drone.
My problem is the simulator (lift off) it wont detect the roll stick, is there anyway to fix this?

Thanks for the video. Does installing a new firmware delete all your current settings (models, channels)?
Most of users report didint lose settings. Small number of users report loose settings, they came form eachine original firmware.
I have a problem! When I go to the final return key my screen goes back without the update process. I suspect my TX is not connected to the PC? I have a semi transparent usb connector that flashes red.

si l'hardware differente rende incompatibili le due radio a livello firmware quindi questo tutorial non va bene per la i6x. Comunqueda quello che vedo si sta muovendo qualcosa ed una prima release del firmware per la i6x è già stato rilasciata. Io non avendo la i6x non sto seguendo molto la discussione quindi non sono aggiornatissimo

My Flysky FS-i6 no longer works with my simulator after doing this upgrade. What do i need to do? I have usb simulator cable and Freerider simulator on my imac. All worked before firmware upgrade.

thank you for this video...it was so easy to upgrade the FS-i6...but I have small problem after I update the firmware. My FS-ia6b won't arming the drone. I have bind it with my FS-i6 and they have a connection, but nothing happens when I push the throttle stick down-left. That's how I arming my drone before update...any idea?
I forgot to mention...I have also fs-ia10b receiver but I didn't use it before. I wonder, is it the problem with deficit of channels so the throttle stick won't work? Right stick (left/right/forward/backward) works...but the mentioned one don't give any sign of life...
I have figure out...ARMING - right stick UP/LEFT....left stick DOWN/LEFT :). The only thing I have forgot is to revers the throttle...so my drone start flight in full throttle inside my room and one of my propellers snaps.... :(. Also, I've cut my arm on it trying to catch him...quite experience ;)
Hi. Sorry I'm late for your answer. In any case it is always recommended to set the ARM of the drone via switch. This is for safety reasons.
Hey Mirko...there's another thing I have notice. I know it was not the part of this topic but I hope you can help me with it. One of four ESC are getting so hot after I connect my battery...other three are OK. I'm not sure how long I have this issue. Once, my drone chrashes after I try to landing and I thought it was because of tourbulance (self vortex the proppelers are made below them) but now I suspect it was because this ESC getting so worm and it stops work. Any idea? I allready order four new ESC's...but I wonder do you have some experience with this issue? Thanks. Btw...where are you from? Mirko seems like Serbian name :) ....I'm from Serbia ;).
I have forgot to mention...everything works normal after arming...motor which is connected to problematic ESC rotates normaly....it is just a heating problem. And it's hot that you cannot put the finger on it...

I did not have to do the binding again, but I had a few comments that said that a new bind was necessary.
@@MirkoFPV thanx . I had to remind after the upgrade. But I upgraded directly from stock firmware. Maybe the settings are preserved when upgrading from a more recent firmware

No a causa dei limiti tecnici di questa radio non è possibile.
Inoltre considera che questa è una radio per chi inizia, appena uno va avanti viene natutale sostituire la fsi6 con una taranis..

Senti, una domanda: i modelli configurati in precedenza vengono mantenuti o si devono bindare di nuovo tutte le riceventi?
io con il brand flysky non ho avuto problemi, altri utenti con brand eachine hanno dovuto fare dinuovo il bind. Parlo comunque di radio con firmware originale. Se invece la radio ha una versione 10 canali vecchia, i modelli vengono mantenuti
Mirko FPV la mia è marchiata Eachine, ma avevo già fatto l’update del firmware per portarla a 10 canali, quindi ci sono buone speranze!
dovrebbe mantenere tutto, però sai com'è meglio tenere in considerazione la remota possibilità di dover rifare il bind

hi, with ppm \ pwm you can only use 6 channels. If you want to use 6 more then you have to use ibus

They are 4 option: ibus\ppm; ibus\pwm; sbus\ppm; sbus\pwm.
This is used to confirm to the receiver the type of protocol that the transmitter is sending. This does not affect the number of channels that are fixed at 14 for serial protocols (ibus\sbus) and 6 for analog protocols (ppm\pwm).
I have tried with several PBs, laptops and I do not manage to update to the 1.75.0 version to be able to have RSSI in the OSD.
I have the FSI6 station and the IA6B receiver. The FC is a F4 V.2 bus
After much searching I found a receiver that will allow me to have the RSSI in the OSD of my glasses, finally.
While it arrives to me, I am looking for videos of how to install it.
I just saw one of your videos on how to install IAS6 on the FSI6 and I hope it's easy for me to install the new receiver. It also comes with 3 cables, but I have to prepare a connector for those 3 cables and connect them to the corresponding UART. Or maybe, cut the ones that are already connected and weld them to the new ones.
Do you know the receiver I told you about ?? is the receiver Fli14 + 14CH Mini Receiver
Maybe one of your followers, it is interesting if they did not get updated the emiosora and want to have the RSSI.

@@MirkoFPV gracias Miedo, ya lo he hecho tal cual está en el vídeo. Con varios PCs, portátiles y nada. Da igual el puerto que le ponga. No hace nada. Cuando lo conecto si miro en dispositivos, aparece conectado al com3, y al ejecutar el programa aparece el com3 y otro más. Eligiendo cualquiera, hace lo mismo, nada.
Ahora espero el nuevo receptor FLI14+ y así tendré por fin el RSSI.

I did it and everything worked perfect! very clear guide, but right after it I tried to do it again with another fs-i6 and it didn't work, when I tried to update the firmware again entered the flyskyupdater and chose the same file as before and same COM port, it just closed and didn't update the controller, what can I do?

is a rather strange problem. If one radio worked, it should work with the other. Obviously both must be fsi6, because this firmware with fsi6x does not work.
I have no idea why it doesn't work. At least you could try everything on a different PC, maybe it works.
In the description of this video, there is also the link to the RCGroups forum, you can ask for help there, you can also find the developer of this firmware, maybe he knows more about it

hi, are you using the coorect simulator cable? or you are using the upgrade data cable?

@@MirkoFPV My all attempts failed till now 😐. Few facts:
1. Flysky fsi6 software updated
2. The simulator is getting installed properly. Also the blue light in the dongle is blinking while transmitter is on but still while it's off. So guessing it's fine
3. In transmitter rx setting tried will pwm, ppm, sbus all combinations
4. Not getting detected on Steam/Liftoff, Smartpropoplus...
5. Using Windows 10 home
Any suggestions will highly appreciate. Thank you
they are 2 way to use simulator with this radio:
1: via smartpropolplus, its a bit tricky and in some case didint work

Hi, no it was not. Err was probability of error. The right data is SNR: 40+ is the full signal, 9 or less is failsafe.
However,
the value Err is still, you can reactivate it by navigating the menu,
but I do not recommend using this parameter because it is not safe

Ciao Mirko, ho seguito la tua guida e sono riuscito a programmarla, ora però mi esce sempre l'avviso che devo mettere in posizione corretta switch e throttle, naturalmente lo sono.
Sono riuscito a rimetterla in modalità aggiornamento, guardando il tuo video di ripristino, ho ricaricato il firmware originale e rifunziona tutto.
hai qualche suggerimento? aiutami a fare questa modifica.

ciao non saprei di preciso, magari arrva l'end point un po alto, vedi se si riesce a riportarlo a 1000, magari basta mandare lo stick un po più in basso
@@MirkoFPV infatti, avevo pensato la stessa cosa, ho dovuto aprire la radio e tagliare di 1 mm il pezzettino di plastica del finecorsa, fatto questo il warning è sparito. Probabilmente questo firmware ha il controllo più in basso rispetto al firmware originale.

ciao, che io sappia elrs non è compatibile con questa radio, ma anche nel caso lo fosse al fsi6 è poco più che un giocattolo paragonato alle radio moderne.
prima di valutare elrs io prenderei in considerazione una radio più moderna, perchè andare avanti nel 2023 con la fsi6 non è proprio il caso
Ciao Mirko.....mi sto guardando tutti i tuoi video e sto facendo tutte le modifiche alla Radio......solo una domanda....come posso collegare due droni alla stessa radio....? Ho visto che può gestire fino a 20 modelli diversi ma non capisco come selezionarli ed impostarli... grazie
prima di tutto devi avere una ricevente per ogni modello. Poi semplicemente nel menu della radio c'è la voce "model" e scegli da li.
Per donami vado un po a memoria perchè al momento non ho più questa radio per controllare

Ciao Mirko, ottimo video come sempre! Io però riscontro un problema: si ferma a metà aggiornamento, dandomi errore in lettura. Per info aggiorno usando un arduino uno, ma non dovrebbe essere un problema, tantè che sono uscito dal brick senza toccare nulla a livello di cablaggio, installando un altro firmware con il MOD i6 programmer. HO provato a riscaricare il firmware ma no ha risolto. Anche ad avviare l'eseguibile come amministratore. Hai qualche idea? potrebbe centrare il firmware da cui provengo? Non trovo errori simili in giro. Grazie.
risolto, ho usato la versione con GUI sempre dalla stessa pagina di GITHUB, spero possa essere utile a qualcuno :)
non saprei, l'upgrade dovrebbe andare a buon fine a prescindera da lfirmware di partenza, sia originale o 10ch. Potrebbe essere l'arduino, ma non avendolo non posso confermarlo
ciao mirko volevo chiederti ho costruito un drone telaio 500 con il cc3d (evo) motori 2212 esc 30amp. lo provato in volo lo settato con il wizard , mi fa un difetto lo mando in aria quando lo faccio scendere che tolgo gas lui viene giu tutto barcolante. perche domanda. ?

Ciao Mirko, io ho la i6x, mi chiedevo questa radio a quanto so ha già la modifica a 10 canali, perciò ha già L rssi? Dovrebbe perché è stata creata già per la x6b perciò dovrebbe usufruire della telemetria di quest ultima ricevente
Il firmware originale della i6x non è in grado di leggere l'rssi. Telemetria è un termine generico. In realtà la x6b ha integrato un lettore di tensione col quale puoi visualizzare il livello di carica della batteria direttamente sul radiocomando, tutto qui. Per visualizzare sul radiocomando o nell'osd del flight controller il livello dell'RSSI serve un firmware modificato. Per la i6x qualcosa si sta muovendo ma io non avendo questo modello di radio non sto seguendo molto gli sviluppi
Perciò non posso visualizzare L rssi in nessun modo nemmeno su betaflight
con il firmware originale no
scusa mirko. stavo tentando di aggiornare la radio ma ho un problema. sono arrivato fino alla scelta del firmware da scaricare poi dopo nel tuo video chiede di scegliere la porta COM, solo che a me dava predefinita la 3 che non era quella giusta. quindi ho scelto di annullare il firmware update e di spegnere la radio, ma quando alzo lo swtch non da nessun segno di vita. cosa può essere?
non hai seguito il mio video con attenzione, se la porta è sbagliata il processo non inizia. Se l'aggiornamento parte vuol dire che la porta com era giusta. Hai fatto una cosa molto imprudente a spegnare la radio durante l'aggiornamento, è una cosa che non va mai fatta con nessun tipo di dispositivo. ciao Mirko, mi sono avvicinato da poco al mondo dei droni, e dopo aver comprato il mio bel kit ed averlo montato e sistemato ora non riesco a connettere la ricevente con il trasmettitore. Ho acquistato la FS-i6 e come ricevente ho acquistato FrSky XM+ ma non so proprio come connetterla . Mi sapresti dire se perdo tempo o se posso connetterli tra loro con un aggiornamento del firmware? grazie in anticipo
Ciao, purtroppo hai preso una ricevente ed una radio incompatipibli tra loro, non riuscirai in nessun modo a farli comunicare tra loro.

Stick resolution is a little better in i6x, but i didint really noticed difference in stck feel. Otherwise firmware in i6 is more advanced an offer some feature in addiction, like timer and alarm setup.

No, the firmware of the two radios is different. The i6 one is more complete and has more options. The i6x firmware only adds the ability to display the rssi signal in the betaflight osd.

Ciao Luciano il valore ERR non è sparito, l'aggiornamento cambia la struttura del menu, ora molti settaggi li trovi nella voce EXTRA, ERR compreso.
Questo aggiornamento introduce il valore dell'RSSI, decisamente più preciso ed affidabile del valore ERR, che come dici tu indica una percentuale dell'errore, quindi una probabilità
Il valore da tenere conto è l'SNR che parte da un massimo di 40dB (o qualcosina in più a volte) a scendere. Il valore minimo prima di perdere il segnale è 9dB, quindi puoi impostare nella sezione allarmi un segnale che si attiva quando l'SNR è più basso si 15 o 20
ti ringrazio per la solerte risposta. In effetti il valore di RSSI è molto piu' fedele. Sto provando ad impostarlo ma non ci riesco. Mi puoi dare una mano?
COME NON DETTO! La radio che ho è una FS-ia6 e non è compatibile! Sto aspettando la FS-ia10b. Grazie comunque, vorrà dire che mi accontentero' della % di errore

Ciao Mirko, grazie per il video. Ho aggiornato la radio ma adesso non riesco più a configurarla con Cleanflight e la FS-A8S mini Con SP Racing F3 EVO con IBUs. Ho fatto il binding ed è tutto ok, ma il menù della radio è cambiato e non riesco ad impostarlo... :(. Prima utilizzavo la FS-I6S
le opzioni non sono cambiate più di tanto, più o meno è lo stesso
Mirko FPV Come ti dicevo utizzavo la fs-i6s e funzionava tutto perfettamente. Ho solo ribindato con la fs-i6 ma non c’è modo di farla riconoscere al drone. Adesso su Rx output ci sono 4 tipi di impostazioni. Li ho provati tutti e 4 ma nessuno funziona. In più c’è una nuova opzione “i-bus setup” dove viene assegnato un canale... di default è CH1.... 😓
ma prima dell'aggiornamento funzionava? in ogni caso il problema non è l'aggiornamento, rivedi la connessione ricevente - flight controller e le impostazioni sul configuratore.
nNella radio vanno bene le impostazioni di default, ibus su ch1 e nell'altro menu ibus\ppm
Mirko FPV controllato i collegamenti, tutto perfetto. Solo adesso mi accorgo che funzionano solo i 2 trim VRA VRB. Roll, pitch, yaw e throttle... non vogliono saperne di muoversi...
prova allora a rifare l'aggiornamento, magari non è andato a buon fine, anche se non è mai capitato a nessuno..

recentemente c'è stato un aggiornamento di windows 10 che ha mandato ko tutte le taranis, magari il problema si presenta con le flysky:

un attimo però, i cavi per la flysky sono due, diversi tra loro e non intercambiabili.
il cavo dati serve per aggiornare la radio e non può essere usato con il simulatore.
il cavo simulatore serve per usare la radio con il simulatore, ma non funziona per fare gli aggiornamenti della radio.
escludo proprio che in precedenza hai usato liftoff con lo stesso cavo che hai usato per fare l'aggiornamento firmware

Ciao Massimo. Partiamo dall'inizio. Questo aggiornamento vale solo per il modello di radio fs-i6 (vanno bene altri brand purchè sempre i6); i6x, i6s o altri modelli non vanno bene. Poi, hai usato il cavo aggiornamento come quello che trovi in descizione? Cavi come quello simulatore o altro non vanno bene. Nel caso, hai installato i driver del cavo dati? trovi sempre il link in descrizione
Mirko grazie x la risposta.....il materiale è quello di cui parli tu nel filmato.....avevo preso tempo fa questa radio per tenerla di scorta ......costa una miseria......e poi ho visto i tuoi filmati e ho provato a trasformarla a 10 e a 14 canali...ieri sera ho eliminato tutti i file che avevo installato x l'aggiornamento......e ho notato che avevo lasciato un file con lo zip ...era x questo che non riuscivo nell'intento........ho reinstallato tutto e ho provato di nuovo e con grande meraviglia è partito tutto ...........adesso proverò a installare anche i 10 canali ......... penso che si possa fare vero?....grazie ancora.....sei uno dei pochi che pubblica qualcosa di buono in una lingua che capisco.......ciao....
Ciao Massimo, no una volta messa la modifica a 14ch hai finito. Non devi mettere la versione a 10 canali perchè i canali non si sommano.
il video della modifica a 10 canali e vecchio e quello valido è quyesto che hai seguito tu a 14

Mirko FPV right iv done It. After a lot of messing about... I found that putting it into update mode using the method u did in the unbrick Video worded. The data then downloaded fine. I guess I had somehow semi soft bricked it. Any way iv got it working so all is good

una domanda da profano. Come mai 14 ch se al massimo se ne possono usare 10 contemporaneamente ( ci sono solo 6 tra switch e potenziometri oltre ai 4 canali occupati dagli stick)?
Ciao Luciano, il firmware 14CH, oltre i canali aggiunge molte funzionalità che ad esempio non sono presenti nella modifica a 10 canali.
Detto questo, i canali oltre ad imput fisici come switch e stick possono essere usati per imput PWM. Al momento attuale ad esempio il segnale SNR che serve per monitorare l'RSSI viene fatto passare proprio in un canale.
Inoltre anche delle modifiche alla radio dove puoi aggiungere altre switches e quindi sfruttarle.
Più avanti poi ci potrebbero essere altri sviluppi ed essere già in grado di poterli usare è già un vantaggio

Purtoppo la TGY-10 non è molto diffusa e la community di sviluppatori non è ampia
purtropo con le sue posibilita sono fermi da 2-e anni ma con 30 euro in piu vale prenderla in cambio di FS-i6
, solo per lo scermo , puoi ce contolo de la linia 2,4GHz , va fino 2km con telemetrya
secondo me la fsi6 va bene se come radio economica, se si vuole spendere qualcosa in più allora meglio la taranis. Con questa radio si ha accesso ad una community molto vasta con tutorial e funzionalità di ogni tipo; allo stesso modo si trova una vastissima gamma di riceventi, adatte alle più svariate esigenze. Tutte cose che purtroppo alla TGY-10 mancano

Amigos, chamo-me Mário Pires, e precisava de ajuda: - fiz as alterações para "14 Canais com SWE" de modo totalmente igual ao vídeo aqui apresentado (intterruptores, resistências, ligações, etc.) com uma instalação limpa do software versão 1.7.5.. Tudo parece funcionar bem menos o "SWE" e o "VRB", ou seja, não estão mesmo a funcionar de todo, o "sistema" nem os reconhece. Já tentei de tudo e não consigo resolver o problema.
