Studio Durga already making a Indian anime called "karmachakra" and they already get funding (not by the crowd) and even get platforms like Netflix, hoichoi(Bengali ott) and hostar (only 3 platform offer them) and by the news they also selected one and now they are focusing on completing the production... And the most important news is a large number of anime fans of India know about the anime... And the studio also get chance to show their product to Japan's biggest anime streaming company called "crunchyroll"
I always had mindset from beginning that Anime can't be indian instead india should have its own Animation style ❤जय हिंद ❤ As always you're all points are true!
When I think about how to approach the future of Indian animations I get stuck in a dilemma: should Indian animation industry have mainly 1 specific animation/storytelling style or many, because if only one becomes mainstream then other unique and fresh animation might suffer but If we have more than one then they might not get develop well over might, I think that answer might be in middle, we should have few mainstream animation styles, concept, storytelling styles and other small non mainstream/ experimental stuff
I can understand this thought here, and I think we can have a variety of different art styles, as long as they're totally original and describes the vision of the artist while representing the idea of Indian Animation. What do you think?
I have a video request: we know that Japan is one of the old civilization not one of the oldest but old enough, and but the culture of animation is relatively recent to them which includes it's styles, concept, storytelling etc, can u explore how there animation became a major part of there culture and how long did it took to become one

Great work as always but tbh everyone is asking for their favorite Anime to be dubbed in Hindi for years. but that never happened but we are getting American cartoons getting dubbed in Hindi like cuphead on Netflix so there's still hope😭 maybe in future we get anime dubbed too🙏
9:07 at this point youtubers like RG bucket list ,Kreative ladka and KirtiChow are working really hard to attract indian audience towards true animation but the only problem is indian audience don't have patience and a high quality animation needs a lot of time so they are ingnored by the people, I really hope these creators became mainstream and get attention what they deserve 😥😥

Should one create a 'traditional manga' or go for 'webtoon' in country like India? 🤔 I always wonder if there is a market strong enough for pop culture stuff in India yet? 🤨 It would b awesome to see an estimation video on analysis over number of anime fans in India, alongside mentioning potential audience and purchasing power of those fans.
Webtoons has an access to an already existing reader base. So more chances of people discovering your work but the thing is once its up on webtoons , it becomes a joint copyright venture incase you have future plans for your IP..
Hey @Hidden Caliber ! Just wanted to let you know that Indian high quality animation has been named KONIM by animators of India and it's like a segment of true INDIAN ANIME.(produced in India) ..btw your content is awesome and keep it up..
I believe India still has huge potential for fresh original content. large part of our real old history has remained hidden and untapped for a very long time. A few suggestions if you want ideas for original story and animation style ( completely my point of view, feel free to differ or improve upon ):- 1) Archeological artifacts found in India seem to be proving that weapons used in the Mahabharat did exist (potential for a good time travel story) 2) For creating Power systems like in the anime, you could use the traditional yogic methods of activating your 7 chakras into 7 different forms. 3) For character design you could think of the indigeneous tribal people and their customs/rituals and how urban cities could use it to benefit. 4) Animation fighting styles can be implemented from traditional martial arts like KallariPayattu or Pehlwani. The list might seem very religious or cultural but I feel it can be bring the change as a creator as well, since there is a good possibility of building that differentiating factor from cartoons or anime and the audience might build a new genre and fan base over it if the production hits gold, which i would love to see happen and support.
Same point of view bro aur yahii same mere mind main bhii tha bilkul same ki infuture humhara culture humari Indian history humhare ancestors ka sacrifice humhare Indian animation ki field ke kaam bahot zada uche level pe aa sakta hai
I think the first step of establishing or improving Indian Animation is to start comics, like Manga. Audience will start consuming such story lines, cause I think this Anime/Manga type of content consumption is very low in India now.
@@HyperAshhPlays may be but what I want to say is a long term plan + actually I might have said that wrongly what I wanted to say is, India needs a new way of entertainment, not only in terms of animation alone, I mean reading is a good habit and reading comics based on Indian culture can also teach the young generation about our culture too, and if u say novels are there, yh ofcourse its there but kids mostly not much into novel so comics can be a good medium to capture the market and once it gets some recognition i think many studio would come forward to make an anime out of that/such comics. And yh ur right just only for animation we don't need comics, but is Bahubali is of same level as Death Note or anything? Mostly people likes anime is because of there emotional attachment and for that we need a very good plot and story telling. Anyways that's my opinion and thanks for sharing ur. 🎉
Any movie, animation or cartoon of a particular country represent it's culture, people, ideology and its also impact on the image of country. So, we should make our animation, movie unique from other countries. And the major problem in the present is that lack of unique story and that's why Bollywood is being in a loss nowadays.
Your Every Point is to the point but I still think those 'Copied style Indian Anime" would be better than our Original Chhota Bheem and Motu Patlu.... BTW 9:04 I agree ,that's why I'm first practicing my drawings to create a original webtoon 😄
I whole heartedly oppose fully copying other animation styles, we are one of the oldest and greatest civilization in the world we deserve to have our oun unique identity on global level, we should have our own different animation styles, stories, concepts etc
Bro... Science and magic is a genre of story on which they have made their anime, and these genre are no one patent Like take the example of shaktimaan and chakra: the invincible, they both posses the concept of chakras, but shaktimaan already introduced it to us before chakra, but they didn't claim on the concept of chakra because it's originated from the rig Veda and anybody can use this concept, even animes like Naruto
@@HiddenCaliber yes and also making comics doesn't cost alot. We need to apply same in comics like origanality. then we can animate those things if possble. Thank you for beatiful video
*Famous pop cultures globally*- America- Hollywood Japan- Anime South Korea- KPOP & K-Dramas India- (Maybe in the future) South Indian Cinema The point is that if you copy something from something that already exists at that time then nobody would give a damn about you

2:45 - When you said that, whenever we read the word 'Anime' somewhere, the only image that came to our mind is of Japan. But I have a question about it. Like 'Anime' is a Japanese term for Animation. But what if we Indians will create some better level of Animation as compared to Anime with a different term or keywords to describe it? Any idea about it? And of course, if we have enough money for it. Edit:- Well, I kind of saw the new type of Animation in the trailer of Date A Live season 4. I think maybe this is what we call 2.5D or 3D but still not complete or something, isn't it? I think there's still a chance for us, Indians to make Animation better but as usual, its budget is a hindrance. I hope this problem will be solved soon. And also, thanks for giving us such amazing information.
@@HiddenCaliber Well, to be very frank, I don't decide on any keyword for it but as Japanese Animation is Abbreviated as 'Anime', I think 'Indime' can be used for Indian Animation. But I believe there would be a better name for it when it will finally originate.
The Indian animation should try something with Raj comics characters where they start with the shows and connect every one with each other building a animated universe.
Idk about Raj comics, but graphic India already started to work on the animation and going to release the 3rd season of the legend of Hanuman in Japanese and Korean language
India have their own unique style in art like the posters of shiva and the other gods in calendars. This is very familiar to ourselves and also a original idea- my own thoughts don't misjudge them
@@masterassassin9423 We need to start from scratch , not a remaster , and I am currently working on it ( I don't know if I will succeed on it but , I am trying 😅 , I not a professional )
India is a developing economically country, so people are todays are trying to be financially stable and going to in the field like this can cause direct lot of real life problems if they don't succeed in india. So, basically it will take a long time may be.
Unfortunately Indians and geeks all around the world likes to like different story telling medium in a very compartmental ways, like they way o I only watch anime or American animation, or Korean movies or American tv shows, and yes of course this is a device which is useful when saving time and energy but when talking long about these things we can talk more about specific movies or shows or specific types of components in animation or other audio visual mediums and talk what we like specifical in a specific content or generally, like animation styles, how the show or movie made one feels, concept, plot points, world building, characters, screenplay etc
Believe me, Yesterday I was literally planning to write a story (to start a story) so that I could convert it into indian anime in future (i am not sure, just saying this). But i also had a thought that the story should have originality of Indian culture and tradition. And therefore I included Yoga in my story, but sad to say, it was somewhat similar to Naruto. And today i watched this, so i have decided that i will write an Indian original story of our own culture and if possible then will even try to convert it into indian animation. Thanks brother, you are really doing a great work ✨✨
According to me it should have indian culture and indian locations, neighborhoods and its people and new original stories based on india then you can call it anything
@@ShrekShrooms maine waise thode words mein kaha hai " indian culture" baki usse age bhi boht kuch hai joh ho sakta hai toh indian culture maine in general kaha hai
Actually India has great content, even if we start by religious stories it's not that bad because we only know about Ramayan and Mahabharata. But in India there are so many religions and each religion has it's own stories. I am a punjabi and sikh culture is filled with wars and warriors. We are stereotyped as partying animals in media but Sikhism is filled with serious wars, political issues and many more though there representation is awful.
Copying and taking inspiration is really different and also if we take inspiration Japan is a friend of India they will never say something on this.Hidden caliber also what you said is right we need a orginal content
Japan will never say anything but the international audience will say copy of anime blah blah blah, international audience is very important to get recognition
Animation have huge potential to show indian stories like Vikram betal munja Mahabharata Ramayana singhasan battisi. We have many great epics which can he converted in live action Anime.
Can u make video on how do Japanese writers come up with so many unique concept and ideas for there fictional world, stories, and characters in there animation especially in there sci-fi and fantasy genres, it's mind-blowing actually for eg they have: Steins;Gate, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Akira, OPM, Death Note, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Code Geass, Parasyte the Maxim, Ghost in the Shell, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, Pokemon
I think unless you trace the anime frame by frame you can't create something that looks and feels like Japanese anime. Even if Indian animators think of making a Japanese styled anime it won't really look like Japanese anime but rather inspired by it so there is no need to worry about not having originality. Winx Club that came many years ago was inspired by Japanese anime but one look at the character design, animation and content one can easily tell it's not a Japanese anime. And so was the case with Avatar and Legend of Korra. They wanted to make anime like cartoon but one can easily tell it's not a Japanese anime. Even the "anime" that is produced in America for example Castlevania which might look like Japanese anime at first glance, after watching a few seconds of it you'll quickly know it's not exactly a Japanese anime. I think the art style of an animation is influenced by the culture, art and the earlier works of animation of a region. American cartoons are easily distinguishable from Japanese anime and even if all the animators are Japanese they still can't make something exactly that feels like Japanese anime because the story telling and direction would be very different. Similarly, many Chinese and Korean animators who have been outsourced for making key frames and in betweens are now making anime in their respective country. But one look at the art style, story telling and direction, one can tell if it's a Chinese anime or a Japanese one eg. Scissors seven, MDZS, Link Click, Quanzhi Fashi etc. They already have a "templet" for character design. The eyes and the colour scheme of Chinese characters is kinda unique. Though there are some Chinese donghua that look very Japanese eg. Xiao Hei, the story telling makes it very different from the Japanese anime. Similarly, though Koreans don't make a lot of anime they have been making many manwas and now webtoons and the Korean art style is so unique one cannot mistake it for a Japanese manga/webtoon unless one has a preconceived notion that every detailed anime like drawing is Japanese. It's the same for Chinese manhuas. I think Indians too have a unique art style already. Karmachakra which is apparently the first "Indian anime" does indeed look very Indian and one cannot confuse it with Japanese anime because of the character design, animation, story and the overall feel. A lot of countries have produced masterpieces by trying to replicate Japanese anime and no matter what they do as long as the entire staff is not Japanese they cannot replicate the feel that Japanese anime gives because it's not just about the animation style but also the story telling which is influenced by the culture of the place it's made at, but they will indeed create Japanese anime like animation which is not a bad thing.
One thing I must suggest you is that never watch Chinese donghua most of them r abusive ..... And u see I have stopped watching anime now the emotions I can't consume them anymore.

But there are two minus points of it 1. It is in Bengali language not in hindi and Bengali is the the official language of India. 2. Animes are awesome because they use their mother tongue, that is Japanese and about 0.1% English language is used. That is why we get an amazing vibe while watching it. And Karam Chakra has used about 60% English words. So the main point is. MAKE USE OF MOTHER TONGUE THE MOST in the creation of yours.
If indian animators and studios focus on real world stories without any superpowers then it will be great or anime based on kings and warriors will be great 😃👍
I think Companies should start animating already niche comics in India like Tinkle comics. They have a lot to offer. I don't know about the recent comics but back in the day I used to buy the comic monthly just to read the latest super weirdos because I liked it that much. Not a lot of people know about this but those who do will generate the hype for the series being animated. But sadly even if someone actually manages to animate this, I don't trust the animation to be of high quality as I have yet to see an animation which is of a global quality
The animated film 'Chaar Sahibzade' is based on 4 sikh warrior kids who sacrificed their lives for their religion. I recommend you to atleast watch the trailer. It's based on historical event.
Yes that's exactly what india wants. You know you won't believe me but i do have an idea for a new type of animation style but it requires a lot of testing.
@@arnavwagh9410 Well i meant to say that I have a new type of idea to create an animation but i am trying to say is that i haven't applied that idea in making anything yet. Also it will take some years for me to examine and explore that idea properly. I am in no condition to do that right now.
well there are like 1 or 2 indian anime but there are like 4 episode only! also recently some people from bengal has created a beautiful anime in native language! and its no wonder that none of the people know about it
Actually, we (India) have done it before for example :- 1. "Krish , Trish and Baltiboy" , this anime(cartoon for children) picked different regional stories from all over the country and animated them in their native art style too ,hence represented various art styles, cultures within the country. 2. "Akbar and Birbal :- the animation" , what could be better than showing our history in an 'consumable' content form . 👉 These are just few examples , and I would these are soft level anime , if we want to compete with Japanese anime and attract a larger part of Indian audiance then the level of intensity of story should be on par with Japanese shonen & seinen anime . 👍
EXACTLY! WHATEVER YOU SAID I TOTALLY AGREE TO IT! For the longest time people are saying ki indian anime chaihe indian anime chaihe jab ki actually jo chaihe woh hai "indian animation" jo ki anime term ke sath confused kar dete yeh log Moreover many people don't yet know how animation industry works or even where the profits come from ,so thank you for existing and explaining it to the masses ❤️❤️ Yes I have also noticed this recently that we don't have any art culture at all ,like none to the point that I have to sacrifice taking art as a main career as it was not at all a viable option here in India. We need to work on devloping a culture of comics first that is how all the big animation industries from the Marvel to any other japanese one came into existence. Figuring out the art style would be a challenge since there has been no development at all in that for a adult audience whatever there is is a piece of sh*t. At the end we need to work on a lot of thing, I am indeed gonna play a major role in this journey even if I have to sacrifice this life for that ,with people like you ❤️☺️ we will bring a better art culture to the country , it's sad how artists are struggling in a country known for it's art and craft.
We cannot copy but we can make stories of our own life or with help of an example of someone's life . not every story needs a 'happy ending ' the real meaning is the main theme of the story . And also relatable story who can change the mindset of people n inspires them to do their work . Ya the high quality indian anime will be released one day . 'IndoAnime' and i m sure that will make anime series/movies too.
This time i am disagree if a good story and quality animation make first india successful anime + well plan good marketing not sentimental I know first time is hard but if company really want established anime in india big budget need it like bahubali personal idea grounded storyline protagonist connect with audience

@@Bbbb-l1m Hey bro tell me something more about konim and the animators who named it😊😊
It’d be nice to know th origin story behind the name
I believe India still has huge potential for fresh original content.
large part of our real old history has remained hidden and untapped for a very long time.
A few suggestions if you want ideas for original story and animation style ( completely my point of view, feel free to differ or improve upon ):-
1) Archeological artifacts found in India seem to be proving that weapons used in the Mahabharat did exist (potential for a good time travel story)
2) For creating Power systems like in the anime, you could use the traditional yogic methods of activating your 7 chakras into 7 different forms.
Proud of you

I think the first step of establishing or improving Indian Animation is to start comics, like Manga. Audience will start consuming such story lines, cause I think this Anime/Manga type of content consumption is very low in India now.
But that can happen also without comics
Like Bahubali the lost legends had no comics to take inspiration of
@@HyperAshhPlays may be but what I want to say is a long term plan + actually I might have said that wrongly what I wanted to say is, India needs a new way of entertainment, not only in terms of animation alone, I mean reading is a good habit and reading comics based on Indian culture can also teach the young generation about our culture too, and if u say novels are there, yh ofcourse its there but kids mostly not much into novel so comics can be a good medium to capture the market and once it gets some recognition i think many studio would come forward to make an anime out of that/such comics. And yh ur right just only for animation we don't need comics, but is Bahubali is of same level as Death Note or anything? Mostly people likes anime is because of there emotional attachment and for that we need a very good plot and story telling.
Anyways that's my opinion and thanks for sharing ur. 🎉

Actually India has great content, even if we start by religious stories it's not that bad because we only know about Ramayan and Mahabharata. We are stereotyped as partying animals in media but Sikhism is filled with serious wars, political issues and many more though there representation is awful.

Pratilipi, yali dream creation and graphic india is doing great in short term animation, motion comics, comics and yali is on another level, they sold the right of "rakshak" and know it's flim is in pre production stage!🇮🇳

also recently some people from bengal has created a beautiful anime in native language!
and its no wonder that none of the people know about it
We need explained in English too. That would really help for the non speakers of hindi
I will see what can I do about this
Awesome video bro 🤩🤩
Actually, we (India) have done it before for example :-
Try aot my friend
@@kavithabs611 I thought we were talking about Indian animation here 🙄
@@paras9422 actually i have watched all of the cartoon you have told me, i grew up watching it. But it lacks animation, and some other stuffs
EXACTLY! WHATEVER YOU SAID I TOTALLY AGREE TO IT!
For the longest time people are saying ki indian anime chaihe indian anime chaihe jab ki actually jo chaihe woh hai "indian animation" jo ki anime term ke sath confused kar dete yeh log
Moreover many people don't yet know how animation industry works or even where the profits come from ,so thank you for existing and explaining it to the masses ❤️❤️
Yes I have also noticed this recently that we don't have any art culture at all ,like none to the point that I have to sacrifice taking art as a main career as it was not at all a viable option here in India.
"Failure is a stepping stone to success"
-My Teacher🌚
I stopped listening to my teacher after she told me that I am that stepping stone aka failure
This time i am disagree if a good story and quality animation make first india successful anime + well plan good marketing not sentimental
I know first time is hard but if company really want established anime in india big budget need it like bahubali personal idea grounded storyline protagonist connect with audience
I can understand buddy, Thank you so much for sharing your opinion you're awesome
Man you are so true . you are on point ! i just want india me anime ka hype aur bhi bade . I don't want them to make anime/anime type shows
I am 14 years old and I am making an Indian anime means an animated series by myself, my siblings help me in dubbing

Bro one thing is there adding an indian touch in an animation is one of the biggest task because indians get so much offensive on any indian aspect if not present carefully but in japan its not the case

I will try to make a video on this,
@@HiddenCaliber thanks
I really want to see this industry ( Which is not even an industry yet ) grow in India. Maybe someday a production house will create something which whole world will appricate and it will be a wave of trend in India to start creating anime. Well all we need is 1 spark ;)
Explanation with that voice
Thank you brother :)
Anime watchers ki speed light jaisi hai.... This line touched my heart. 😁
