So many plot armors. Original trilogy got Luke lost a hand Prequels got Ani a robotic arm, legs, lungs, windpipe and skins. Sequels got Rey a gazillion plot armor, not even a single scar.
Force heal is a legitimate ability and ancient technique. It's really hard to use on a dying person though. You'll see it used throughout the Old Republic period before Bacta was introduced.

In the current era that isn’t as much of a concern like it use to be. As for She-Hulk, I can only guess she got the weaker dosage since it had to filter through Bruce, whereas he had to face the full brunt of the chemical reaction. (Because it was filtered through Bruce it might’ve been able to effect others with potentially matching DNA)
In the comics, Jen does have better control as She-Hulk, but that's because Bruce endured so much childhood trauma that he developed DID, which made the Hulk personality. Jen had a decent family upbringing. That's not an excuse for her to flawlessly master her Hulk Form, she'd obviously need to learn how to manage her new found powers. The writers could've made the conversation about mental health & the need to overcome trauma, but instead they leaped at the opportunity to bring down Bruce/Hulk.

Um what part makes her the worst? Is it where she has been training for over 10 years in a hell hole? How about we look at Luke. Luke starts off as an adult making broom broom sounds with a space ship and after no training nor any experience ever nor every having ever fire any kind of weapon is able to shoot 4 tie fighters, rescue a princess from an extremely heavily fortified fortress against over 100,000,000 highly trained extremely accurate military soldiers while never holding a gun in his life and able to escape with the princess before also never flying a ship in his life out fly and shoot down the highest trained of all special elite pilots and then destroy the enemies fortress single handedly with out ever having a single fucking minute of actual training. But Ray who has been taking apart ships and all forms of technology for over 10 years and has built her own vehicles out of spare parts is not suppose to be able to know how a ship works? Also Ray who has been using an anti lightsaber battle staff for years is not suppose to be able to fight against a guy who had his organs obliterated from a grenade launched at him from one of the most bad ass weapons ever in the entire Star Wars existence? The Star Wars galaxy is a play discussing a life of predestiny (Luke & later Rey) VERSUS a life of freewill & making your own destiny (Hans Solo & later Rey's brother). Somehow the mitaclorians are involved in continually rewriting history, making small changes with in the time line but still maintaining predetermination: so some outcomes built in. It seems few people are majorly involved in the predetermination life & few people are totally not involved with predetermination. That explains Rey constant success, she was successful in past iterations in history, so those successes are built into future recreations of the future.

I feel like this could have been an easy fix. Like its fine if you dont want a training montage. Have her just be a force user without knowing it. Like have a scene where she drops an item in a hard to reach location and use the force to bring it to her. Have her barter with somebody and use mind tricks to bring the price down (or up if she's selling). Nothing big, just small things. Then when the big reveal comes its more of a "that explains things" type reaction. Perhaps a few years back she found some scrolls and read up on the force. Then let her loose some battles. Give her a scar or two. Maybe loose a limb and replace with a robo limb. Put her through trauma. Have a person have to come to her rescue after she did something wreckless and stupid. Let some flaws bite her in the ass.

Rey is like live action Mulan. What made cartoon Mulan awesome was you saw her develop and struggle to met her objectives. Then when she failed her humanity came through which made her relatable. Then she used her natural abilities and skills at “ x” that she learned to come out on top. Rey and live action Mulan didn’t do that. At all.

I hate both of them as a woman. I loved Mulan as a kid, I was a petite little girl who was interested in martial arts. Mulan in the original movie starts off as a very weak female soldier, disguised as a male. Not only she was one of the first ever fighter princesses I saw on media! Great story! But Rey and liveaction Mulan? I hate them both. I dislike everything about the sequels too. Even after she improved with training, animated Mulan was physically weaker than the male soldiers, as she should have been. Her “superpowers” consisted of intelligence, imagination, and leadership ability. She was a poor soldier because she was officer material. I love the original Mulan. I don’t waste my time on any of the live action remakes.

They are driven by the horrible sacrifices they made to achieve such strength. Rey: Eh, she can just do it i guess.

Rey could've easily been interesting. They could keep her naturally powerful af, that's not the issue. It would've been cool to see her realise she has all this power and then only trying to rely on intuition alone (doing exactly what she's doing in the movies) but failing horribly so and becoming too prideful in her abilities. Kylo first moments on the movie were really good, made me want to know more about him. And his lightsaber not only it's cool but it also has an interesting backstory.
I would have rather seen the Solo twins- since Jacen goes full Sith (becoming Darth Caedus) and is eventually killed by his younger brother, Anakin. Besides- Ben was what Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker named _their_ son!

There’s so many inconsistencies that make me want to scream and claw my eyes out in these movies but that was my breaking point. Force wielders are not anomalous superheroes wherein their powers are genetic and a clearly light side aligned Jedi trainee can ACCIDENTALLY zap something into oblivion because her grandfather was the king of zaps. These powers are based on the emotions and intent behind them coupled with extreme control and are super difficult to master. These movies make me want to throw things.

There could have been the moment where in the assault on the resistance base on crait, she would be tasked with leading the ground troops in hope of them being able to hold back the first order, this could have given her the flaw of being a bad strategist and when she got her forces they would have been slaughtered by the first order, this would give her PTSD, she would have to only blame herself, and now she has to deal with how is she meant to do good with so much new blood on her hands
I had a coworker say he didn't care because he just watched it for enjoyment. My response was that I can't enjoy a story where anything can happen at any time. With no rules to what each character can and cannot do she could fart out a new Alderaan complete with all it's people and/or turn all the bad guys into delicious pizza bagels at any time...

Another plot hole. Palpatine convinces Anakin to come to the Dark Side by promising him that he could heal his wife, and that no Jedi would do it. Yet Rey heals without any fanfare in the sequels.

Her no flaws and her ability to be immune to dark side force is all the best parts of her. Plus I’ve heard of force heal but it is a rare ability and it comes at a price. It ages you super quickly years ahead of your own true age every time one uses it so I do not want that ability.
I have this problem with a lot of characters, and sadly a lot are powerful female characters. There is no growth, no conflict. Remember the animated Mulan? She had to train to match men in war, no random Chi abilities that helps her fly. She had to use her personal strengths to overcome obstacles.

Ouch! Without a doubt that has to be the deepest,coldest, cruelest cut of all. When the demographic she was supposedly intended to appeal to doesn't want to claim her... Now, trult now, her failure is complete. To be completely fair, I don't think she was even neccesarily intended to appeal to you. I think she was a self insert by Kathleen Kennedy and she just jumped onto the feminist dei movement and pushed hard the "force is female" crap as a smokescreen and to use you all as a shield and a cudgel, whichever was needed in the situation. Rey was a terribly written character from the start. They could have salvaged her in ep 8, could have salvaged her if they had a coherent plan for the overall plot from inception... But ep 8 was the kiss of death. Point of no return. No amount of retcons can save her now.
Y'hw'h is even a better NPC than her. He may not have imperfections but his good traits of helping people out who need his help is what makes him likeable. •Helping Joseph cope with his situation of being sold to slavery in Egypt and got locked up into prison from being falsely accused by the wife of his master of rape. •Helping the little lad take down a giant with his slingshot by giving him a chunk of his powers then help him solve his problems on becoming the next Israelite King. •When the time when he tested Job on how long will he last with him when he did him dirty like Guts. •He let his own son become a human and sacrifice his life to save humanity from the damnation caused by the devils.
Even though he trained around a whole month, and before that three years with what obi wan taught him in the day or two they were together. That's impressive eight months later he was a whole jedi knight, but he wasn't entirely ready for Vader, still held his own against the Sith Lord though
And the worst/best part was Vader was holding back since he was testing and trying to capture him. It was only when Luke manage to get a hit in was Vader like “okay we’re done”. That made it so when the second fight the stakes were not only higher but we the viewers are on the edge of our seats wondering “can he win this time?” For Rey and Kryo, there is no tension in the second or third fight since you knew she would win.

Force heal is a legitimate ability and ancient technique. It's really hard to use on a dying person though. You'll see it used throughout the Old Republic period before Bacta was introduced.

As for She-Hulk, I can only guess she got the weaker dosage since it had to filter through Bruce, whereas he had to face the full brunt of the chemical reaction. (Because it was filtered through Bruce it might’ve been able to effect others with potentially matching DNA)
In the comics, Jen does have better control as She-Hulk, but that's because Bruce endured so much childhood trauma that he developed DID, which made the Hulk personality. Jen had a decent family upbringing. That's not an excuse for her to flawlessly master her Hulk Form, she'd obviously need to learn how to manage her new found powers.
The writers could've made the conversation about mental health & the need to overcome trauma, but instead they leaped at the opportunity to bring down Bruce/Hulk.

But Ray who has been taking apart ships and all forms of technology for over 10 years and has built her own vehicles out of spare parts is not suppose to be able to know how a ship works? Also Ray who has been using an anti lightsaber battle staff for years is not suppose to be able to fight against a guy who had his organs obliterated from a grenade launched at him from one of the most bad ass weapons ever in the entire Star Wars existence? Also Ray is not suppose to be able to barely hold her own against guy who is using every single fucking ounce of force power he has to not completely pass out and bleed out and die? Kylo was using so much of his force power that any amount of force power could be outdone by the fact that Kylo was hanging on for dear life while bleeding out for over an hour. You make excellent points but you missed the underlining theme that created the anomalies you despise; AND YES, these points of contention were made extremely obvious: to force the recognition of the plot. The Star Wars galaxy is a play discussing a life of predestiny (Luke & later Rey) VERSUS a life of freewill & making your own destiny (Hans Solo & later Rey's brother). Somehow the mitaclorians are involved in continually rewriting history, making small changes with in the time line but still maintaining predetermination: so some outcomes built in. It seems few people are majorly involved in the predetermination life & few people are totally not involved with predetermination. That explains Rey constant success, she was successful in past iterations in history, so those successes are built into future recreations of the future.

I feel like this could have been an easy fix. Like its fine if you dont want a training montage. Have her just be a force user without knowing it. Like have a scene where she drops an item in a hard to reach location and use the force to bring it to her. Have her barter with somebody and use mind tricks to bring the price down (or up if she's selling). Nothing big, just small things. Then when the big reveal comes its more of a "that explains things" type reaction. Perhaps a few years back she found some scrolls and read up on the force.
Then let her loose some battles. Give her a scar or two. Maybe loose a limb and replace with a robo limb. Put her through trauma. Have a person have to come to her rescue after she did something wreckless and stupid. Let some flaws bite her in the ass.

Luke, the son of a literal chosen one, was trained by the best on multiple ocassions, had several adventures, and still ended up losing fights and had plenty of flaws. Then there's just some random chick with a stick can basically leap frog the entire series harder than Gohan in the middle of Frieza saga leapfrogging all of the original dragon ball.

What made cartoon Mulan awesome was you saw her develop and struggle to met her objectives. Then when she failed her humanity came through which made her relatable. Then she used her natural abilities and skills at “ x” that she learned to come out on top.

I loved Mulan as a kid, I was a petite little girl who was interested in martial arts. Mulan in the original movie starts off as a very weak female soldier, disguised as a male. So not only she had to train himself physically, but also should learn to use her intelligence to overcome tough situations! This inspired me as a child. Not only she was one of the first ever fighter princesses I saw on media! Great story!
But Rey and liveaction Mulan? I hate them both. I dislike everything about the sequels too. And I hate it when people claim others only hate the sequels because they are sexist, racist and misogynistic... As a mixed racial female, I couldn't hate them more honnestly.
Even after she improved with training, animated Mulan was physically weaker than the male soldiers, as she should have been. Her “superpowers” consisted of intelligence, imagination, and leadership ability. She was a poor soldier because she was officer material. I love the original Mulan. I don’t waste my time on any of the live action remakes.

Rey could've easily been interesting. They could keep her naturally powerful af, that's not the issue.

I genuinely saw huge potential in Kylo as he entered his redemption arc, but he immediately turned into a side character when Rey was on screen
Kylo first moments on the movie were really good, made me want to know more about him. And his lightsaber not only it's cool but it also has an interesting backstory.
I would have rather seen the Solo twins- since Jacen goes full Sith (becoming Darth Caedus) and is eventually killed by his younger brother, Anakin.

Force wielders are not anomalous superheroes wherein their powers are genetic and a clearly light side aligned Jedi trainee can ACCIDENTALLY zap something into oblivion because her grandfather was the king of zaps. These powers are based on the emotions and intent behind them coupled with extreme control and are super difficult to master.
These movies make me want to throw things.

Her no flaws and her ability to be immune to dark side force is all the best parts of her. Plus I’ve heard of force heal but it is a rare ability and it comes at a price. It ages you super quickly years ahead of your own true age every time one uses it so I do not want that ability.
I have this problem with a lot of characters, and sadly a lot are powerful female characters.
There is no growth, no conflict. Remember the animated Mulan? She had to train to match men in war, no random Chi abilities that helps her fly. She had to use her personal strengths to overcome obstacles.

Rey was a terribly written character from the start. They could have salvaged her in ep 8, could have salvaged her if they had a coherent plan for the overall plot from inception...

That's why I liked Luke in V. He left Yoda too early, could barely hold himself against Vader and loses on the end.
I’m not defending ray but I searched it up and a lot people say Luke trained with yoda for a month or 8-10 weeks
Even though he trained around a whole month, and before that three years with what obi wan taught him in the day or two they were together. That's impressive eight months later he was a whole jedi knight, but he wasn't entirely ready for Vader, still held his own against the Sith Lord though
And the worst/best part was Vader was holding back since he was testing and trying to capture him. It was only when Luke manage to get a hit in was Vader like “okay we’re done”.
That made it so when the second fight the stakes were not only higher but we the viewers are on the edge of our seats wondering “can he win this time?” For Rey and Kryo, there is no tension in the second or third fight since you knew she would win.
