That's right, I'm angry, Ezra in second to last place only beaten out by Rey? And you HAVEN'T EVEN SEE HALF OF HIS STORY. That's just unacceptable. Ezra Bridger may have started off as your average kid, but he actually changes by the end. Unlike my opinion of this list, because I'm not finishing it. Ezra and Kanan together are one of the best Master/Apprentice duos in history. As a Jedi trained during a time when Jedi were all but extinct, he fought and helped destroy several "Sith" or former Sith, helped create the Rebellion from nothing, and sacrificed himself to take out the Empire's best tactician in order to free an entire planet before the Death Star was even finished. He also helped to retake Mandalore of all places. Denied a deal with the Emperor himself. And discovered the World Between Worlds again after years and years. But what was strongest about Ezra that few Jedi, beside Kanan, can say is that they have love and a real family. That's why he nearly fell to the dark side. He wanted to protect his family. And he wanted to protect and connect with living creatures, Ezra did that a lot. The white spiders, Purgills, Loth Wolves and Loth Cats, and more besides that. He was strongest when he had the ability to connect to others. Clearly you didn't give the connection a chance. (and I'll apologize a bit, ik you're trying to make content and I give these videos a watch sometimes because they get quite a few. views, but do your research).
What I love the most about Windu is how Samuel L Jackson just wanted a purple saber because he likes purple, but George Lucas came up with an entire yap to justify it into the lore with allat balance between light and dark side thing and purple being the mix of blue and red to simbolize that
@Raylan-y2p Yeah I agree. She played it very well. But they wrote her bad parts and movies. Bad writing like... she learned the force in nearly a day or two - how stupid. Not her fault though.
I like Kanan. He's interesting in that he is willing to use a blaster, a lightsaber, and isn't perfect. Also because he's humble and admits his flaws but is also self-sacrificing for his friends. I also like that they showed him in S7 of Clone Wars and the Star Wars Shorts, after Rebels was finished. I really like that they had him in Bad Batch played by the same actor, also after Rebels finished.
I honestly think that Qui Gon is the best Jedi. If you look back at what the Jedi were supposed to be, they were supposed to be devoted to the force above anything else. Once we got to the point in the story where we see Qui Gon, the Jedi have already betrayed their original purpose, blindly serving the corrupt senate. This is why he wasn’t on the council, because like Dooku, he could see that the council was making bad decisions, and couldn’t agree with them.
You have a long way to go to understand the jedi and the Star Wars milieu. Devotion to the force is totally not what the jedi are about. If that was true, they would be devoted to the midichlorians without whom they would have no contact with the force. The jedi exist to be guardians of *peace* and *justice* . It's stated in the very first film. The force is merely their most useful tool for this purpose. This is their *general* purpose (because generally there are no sith about). Their primary reason for existence is to protect everyone from the sith because: 1) The force and the midichlorians are real which means that there is a potential for someone to appear and discover their power with the force and become corrupted by it and turned into a sith (because avoiding the dark side requires one to have total control over one's emotions and no one with an ordinary childhood is capable of this). 2) Sith are *inherently evil* (the dark side cannot be used to do good) and have the potential to become all powerful rulers of everything (a situation that would mean misery and suffering for everyone else, everywhere). 3) ONLY someone equally skilled in the ways of the force could hope to defeat a sith. Thus, a special order of people need to exist to govern over all beings with the potential to become sith. That order is the jedi; and they race to *take possession* of any new born being that has force potential. They then raise them to be immune from dark side corruption (and because this happens through evil emotions such as anger, this means being incapable of getting angry (or jealous, or frightened etc.)). This idea that the jedi lost sight of, and betrayed their original purpose, comes from the EU written by inferior writers who never understood what Lucas created (as most still don't). All these EU jedi and sith have polluted most fans' basic understanding of what was always a very straight-forward concept. It has, in particular, led most people to see Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan as great jedi when in fact they were at the heart of what led to the destruction of the jedi order via Vader. It was Qui-Gon who believed Darth Sidious' 'prophesy' about a chosen one when the *entire* council of jedi *masters* (Qui-Gon was ranked below those on the jedi council) dismissed it as the dangerous nonsense it was. Qui-Gon was a rebel who used the force in ways that were forbidden e.g. using it to tip Watto's dice and trying to pass off worthless currency to him. It was his poor tuition of Obi-Wan that made Obi-Wan emotional - emotional enough to defy his jedi superiors and train Anakin. N.B. Also, Qui-Gon was himself trained by Count Dooku, which explains how Qui-Gon became a maverick willing to break jedi codes. The jedi council was never making bad decisions. The only corruption in the senate was because of the sith that was at the heart of it, Darth Sidious. It wasn't 'bad decisions' by the jedi that allowed this corruption to exist but the machinations of Sidious that the jedi couldn't detect because of the sith's power to cloud their ability to see the truth. Qui-Gon was simply a poor jedi because he didn't adhere to their codes. He was misguided by Dooku to question the jedi ways and to open himself to 'other ways' (when the *only* outcome of treading another path from the difficult and narrow path of goodness that the jedi walk, is a path of something other than goodness, less than goodness, and, potentially, an evil path).
Ezra Bridger is the same age Luke Skywalker and by the time Luke is told he is a Jedi, Ezra had done some things no other Jedi had done. Starting by unlocking both a Jedi and Sith Holocrons on his own (not even knowing he was a Jedi in the case of the Jedi Holocron and when he opened the Sith’s it was even scarier. That means he has a connection to both like maybe only Anakin surpasses). Developing a deep connection with Animals/Creatures, Opening a Jedi temple on his own, and navigating the space / timeline continuum in the temple. That is only what we know until he disappears at age 19 or so. Who knows what type of force connection he will have in Ahsoka.

He was very annoying in the first 2 season but after Kanan lost his sight the character development is a perfect example of how a boy becomes a man . Filoni made Ashoka annoying on purpose. He knew a new character to Star Wars, Anakin’s apprentice, would be hated. So he made her annoying to bring the audience around to like her as she grew. The writing wasn’t changed. Filoni had it planned out all along.

I played and beat both games with Cal Kestis and he is a very interesting Jedi because he was a scrapper, he has a droid friend that helps him fight, he is good with the force, and he stands up for those who can’t fight so I would put him at number 3 or 4
Ezra is my favorite Star Wars character behind Luke. I’m season 4 of rebels he peaks! I can respect your opinion on the first two seasons with his character but he becomes super skilled with a lightsaber, very wise and powerful especially with his ability to connect with animals and the purgils! His return in Ahsoka is going to be insane! Just keep watching! Trust me!
Rey defintley needed something to build on, she started with the same power she ended with and had no growth compared to other Jedis that we saw grow like Anakin or Luke
If u didn't watch all of rebels u should have just left Ezra off the list! He was a great example of what happens to millions of children whose parents resisted the empire and where caught! They had to survive on their own and very little trust! Ezra would be low on my list as well but i have watched the who series so I can say its mainly cause he is always split the whole series between the call of the force and his parents and revenge!
I would put Cal Kestis at least at Number 2. He’s kinda like Mace Windu in the second game. Uses the Dark Side, and still remains a Jedi. From defeating Dagan Gara, to the end is where Jedi Survivor gets really good and emotional.
@@Jedwerdoh my god thank you so much for typing a response! You are the first ever RUclipsr that I watch respond to my comment! You just made my day! Thanks so much!
I really like your videos😊 But I think after you watch The whole of Rebels this lifts would be a lot different And I think Cal Kestis would be quite high on the list if you played the whole games
@@Jedwerdyeah, after seeing Kanan’s death you can’t possibly dislike Rebels. It was way too good. In fact, especially in the last season Kanan was sick. I was hesitant about Rebels, but after watching it as a whole Kanan became top 4 or even 3 Jedi for me. He’s great.
I’m currently watching every bit of canon Star Wars media on Disney plus. I’m currently on season 4 of the clone wars and I’m really looking forward to revenge of the Sith!
Make sure you finish all of clone wars before you watch revenge of the site also watch the original trilogy and after play both Jedi games it helps to he experience
Hey, I recommend NOT watching season 7 of the clone wars until after revenge of the Sith as it happens around the same time and contains a lot more spoilers. Otherwise, you could also start season 7 and watch episodes 1-8, watch revenge of the sith, and then watch the remaining episodes of season 7.
Season 7 has some spoilers but what that last arc builds suspense for the actual movie and you wonder how did it happen so when you watch it your experiencing it as the characters do but watching ROTS first is fine
Ohhh yeahhh, master Yoda is also my favorite. He got drip and such a complete package Character. The only thing that made him bad is how he's fleeing on rots is not explain well, it makes him look coward to Others cause they didn't know anything behind why he flee and the disadvantages he got all through he's fight against sidious but he still managed to fight on par with palpatine with all the set back he got. Imagine if it was a plane area like windu vs Palatine, he'll surely fold sidious hard for real.
Ahsoka wasn't a poorly written character. In fact she was an ingenious character because Dave Filoni engineered her to be a brat. He did this so he could control the reason fans didn't like the character and repair it turning her into a classic.
She was a poorly written character because she’s been created by Disney CEO’s and not George Lucas. She was forced upon George through Disney’s absolutely mental obsession of having a female hero; it’s been their agenda since day 1 and it’s pathetic. I can understand liking the character but if she was really a part of Star Wars then she’d have simply been a part of Star Wars, not just created and thrown in afterwards as a cash grab.
First, thanks for your amazing video and channel; I’m starting to watch your content and i’m loving it! What do you think about that Obi-Wan and Satine romance? I simply can’t like it. He was a so well constructed character in the movies (Disney don’t count) and like a symbol of the perfect Jedi and then he simply got a girlfriend??? What was that? (Sorry for the bad english, i’m portuguese and still a learner)
What is your judging criteria? Lightsaber skill, force ability, cool factor, overall character development? And are you only including full canon characters (so no characters like Revan or Satele Shan). You mention where you place Ezra and Kanan, and admit to not seeing all of Rebels, while at the same time omit Cal due to not really knowing him well enough. They are kinda all in the same boat. You really stopped watching Rebels just when his abilities really take off. That being said, on my own list, either canon or everything, as much as I love his character, he wouldn't place in the top 10. Mace at 7 is almost a crime. If we are talking canon, top 3. I personally HATE Luke Skywalker, so I definitely do not mind him at 5, but if you go to legends, he is untouchable in regards to power. Tano at number 3? Maybe once we see all she can do in the Ahsoka series she MIGHT make it on a top 10 list. I do LOVE her character though! But Obi-Wan in 1st place? Like, HOW? He beat Anakin, on Mustafar, do to Anakin's blind rage and because no one knew his abilities and nuances like Obi-Wan. He isn't really that good of a fighter, him using the very defensive style of Soresu is how he was able to defeat Grevious as well. Sticking PURELY with canon, my top 4 would be: 4. Plo-Koon (the only jedi to have beaten Yoda in a sparring match [also personal fav jedi]), 3. Mace. 2. Yoda. 1. Anakin right before his turn to the darkside. If this included Legends, Luke would HAVE to be #1, Revan would be in the top 5 probably as well. To put Rey at #10 is charity. lol. Keep making the vids man. Ignore the hate, but listen to constructive criticism. You are still a young channel, keep plugging away at it. Even Luke was once a padawan.
Pretty sure he just says that Daisy Ridley is a good actress because if he doesn't people will call him sexist. Not that she isn't but tbf that's probably why he said it.

The fact that the first force ability Rey clearly showcased is a Jedi mind trick is hilarious. Like how we she even have the concept of, or idea for that specific move?? She wouldn’t have even realized what she was feeling was the force, let alone realize that what she was feeling would allow her to do a more advanced move like that. Honestly though, before making this vid, you should educate yourself on all the characters your discussing. Overall good vid though.
My favorite Jedi is Ima gun di From clone wars. He is such a powerful jedi with a past they really went into in the series to such an extent that the characters growth and his personality can be enjoyed in depth by the wiever. His personal delevopment from rough to tough as well as his connection to the force were just unnaturally well made.
6:20 min.: Sequels be not Canon in my eyes. Its would be better if we list it so like the Sequels NEVER would exist. Not even the canon legends split. Just rank it so like disney NEVER buy star wars and gorge never sell his master piece 2 the devil.

Personally I reckon you might have wanted to do the research on each character before doing a ranking based on your opinion, watching the last two seasons of rebels would have been a good idea to do before making the video. These are just my own thoughts, other than that I quite like the video.
5:50 the best part about Luke Skywalker is in between ROTJ and Force Awakens during the events of The Mandalorian show when he was rebuilding the Jedi Order and went to go help Mando and Grogu.
My favorite is Kenobi. His extremly good hearth, his friendship, his engagement, his feelings, all of it was peak writing. And he was the one (in my opinion) who suffered the most in Star Wars, but he never forgot who he was and who he is. An in my opinion, absolute perfect character

Trust me!
I agree except I think he is better then Luke.
Yeah, I will never trust you again
Rey defintley needed something to build on, she started with the same power she ended with and had no growth compared to other Jedis that we saw grow like Anakin or Luke
this dude is such a stan for Dooku he'd be discussing something completely different to star wars just to later talk about him
Darn fricking right
If u didn't watch all of rebels u should have just left Ezra off the list! He was a great example of what happens to millions of children whose parents resisted the empire and where caught! They had to survive on their own and very little trust! Ezra would be low on my list as well but i have watched the who series so I can say its mainly cause he is always split the whole series between the call of the force and his parents and revenge!
0:08 don't scare me like that
I would advise you to continue Rebels and finish it. It's definitely worth it.
Great review dude :)
I would put Cal Kestis at least at Number 2. He’s kinda like Mace Windu in the second game. Uses the Dark Side, and still remains a Jedi. From defeating Dagan Gara, to the end is where Jedi Survivor gets really good and emotional.
I wanted to comment that

Video suggestion: Top 10 worst star wars characters
Nice list! I was surprised to see this episode at such an early time, it came out 18 minutes before this comment.
you should do a video ranking the strongest star wars characters in cannon
Good video, for me Kanan and Ezra would be a lot higher in the list if you finish the series (especially Kanan is one of my favorite characters).
I really like your videos😊
But I think after you watch The whole of Rebels this lifts would be a lot different
And I think Cal Kestis would be quite high on the list if you played the whole games
I think I’m going to have to watch all of Rebels, my lack of knowledge keeps affecting my videos
He’s great.
Bro knew Obi is the embodiment of a real Jedi, thanks
Make a bounty hunter video
broh this is a great channel
I’m currently watching every bit of canon Star Wars media on Disney plus.
I’m currently on season 4 of the clone wars and I’m really looking forward to revenge of the Sith!
And anakin skywalker is my favourite Jedi
Are you watching in chronological order? because Disney doesn't have the clone wars in chronological order.
Yooo w lotr music at the end 🔥
this is just my opinion, but my favorite character of all time is master yoda.
You mean grandmaster? Yoda is also my favorite character
My Top 10 Jedi
10. Rey SKywalker
9. Qui-Gon Jinn
8. Plo Koon
7. Kanan Jerrus
6. Ezra Bridger
5. Anakin Skywalker
4. Yoda
3. Luke Skywalker
2. Ahsoka Tano
1. Obi-Wan Kenobi
Ahsoka wasn't a poorly written character. In fact she was an ingenious character because Dave Filoni engineered her to be a brat. He did this so he could control the reason fans didn't like the character and repair it turning her into a classic.
Yep, the exact opposite of a Mary Sue - she had actual character development!
@@dazediss6629Ashoka was created in 2008. Disney purchased Lucasfilm in 2012. You're not proving a point. You're just being daft.
1:48 simple if ezra could shoot with the blade activaded he wouldve killed his opponents too easly and we wouldnt have had some of the duels he was in
Thank you for ranking ahsoka so high she's underrated
She is definitely not….
she's underrated in power but def not underrated as a character
i just mean underrated as in a lot of people don't know about her
@@ohhello1809 she is really popular what are you talking abt
@@yourlocalghastyt285 ik so many star wars fans who haven't heard of her bc they haven't seen clone wars
1:17 bro i suggest you start watching season 3 and 4 man ezra becomes a beast in those seasons
It would've been cool to seen snoke as mace windu
First, thanks for your amazing video and channel; I’m starting to watch your content and i’m loving it!
What do you think about that Obi-Wan and Satine romance? I simply can’t like it. He was a so well constructed character in the movies (Disney don’t count) and like a symbol of the perfect Jedi and then he simply got a girlfriend??? What was that?
(Sorry for the bad english, i’m portuguese and still a learner)
The reason I hate obi wan knobi is because he cut anakins 3 limbs off 9:10
You 4
He had to idiot
Even Luke was once a padawan.
you lost me on mace windu
4:32 Min.: His Actor is the Walking Spoiler! :D
So its wasnt a suprise like it end up with him XD
There is no sequels, so Luke is top 3.
Where is Plo Koon,is he safe,is he alright
He is both I told him to not to go with the clones
It seems in your anger you made jedwerd not include him
What about plo koon
And Shake ti
Shakk*
And kit fisto
Pretty sure he just says that Daisy Ridley is a good actress because if he doesn't people will call him sexist. Not that she isn't but tbf that's probably why he said it.
Reminder: its his own personal opinion and its not about power its about who he like the most
Because luke will abselutely luke clap everyone maybe except anakin even thou luke is perfect version of anakin
Maybe I’ll do a video ranking the most powerful characters in Star Wars
@@Jedwerd my respect toward you:📈
And Luke must either number 1 or 2 because most fan still thinks anakin beat luke even like i said luke is what anakin could have become
Facts prime Luke beats prime anakin
Jedwerd: I don't have enough knowledge about Cal Kestis.
-Puts Leia in 9th place. -
Now do best siths
The fact that the first force ability Rey clearly showcased is a Jedi mind trick is hilarious. Like how we she even have the concept of, or idea for that specific move?? She wouldn’t have even realized what she was feeling was the force, let alone realize that what she was feeling would allow her to do a more advanced move like that. Honestly though, before making this vid, you should educate yourself on all the characters your discussing. Overall good vid though.
I’ve never seen a worst star wars channel.
Bro’s spitting straight facts 💯
Pin of shame blud
Rip english
@@JedwerdI think you should explain why u picked Obi wan. Btw I am a sucker for Kenobi as u r for dooku
@@Jedwerd hes correct, the sequels arent that bad bro
to be honest, why is Rey even on this list when we could have Plo-koon
My favorite Jedi is
Ima gun di
From clone wars. He is such a powerful jedi with a past they really went into in the series to such an extent that the characters growth and his personality can be enjoyed in depth by the wiever.
His personal delevopment from rough to tough as well as his connection to the force were just unnaturally well made.
He got killed the episode he debuted in
Me and my friend have a joke where we call Mace Windu "Mace Window" because he was thrown out the window.
6:20 min.: Sequels be not Canon in my eyes.
Its would be better if we list it so like the Sequels NEVER would exist. Not even the canon legends split.
Just rank it so like disney NEVER buy star wars and gorge never sell his master piece 2 the devil.
Cal deserves to be at #3 or #2 bc in Jedi fallen order he’s like the power of a inquisitor in Jedi survivor he has the power of a Sith Lord
Cal kestis is like macu windu in last survivor he uses both sides light(most) and dark (lest)
For me the really strongest jedis top 5 :
5.quin gon 4.mace windu 3. Obi wan 2. Jedi knight anakin or luke 1. Yoda like come on ! Yoda is super wise in combat hard to defeat and a good teacher and never died by any sith just for being sick
See Ahsoka Tano in third position while hearing the lord of the rings' sound track is on another level
Why is there so much Pirates and LotR music in the background of a SW video XD
at number 12# we got that jedi who died instantly by palpatine in the movie revenge of the sith / at 3:22
He’s better than Rey though
Personally I reckon you might have wanted to do the research on each character before doing a ranking based on your opinion, watching the last two seasons of rebels would have been a good idea to do before making the video. These are just my own thoughts, other than that I quite like the video.
id honestly put Yoda in 1st place just because he was so good in the trilogy!
5:50 the best part about Luke Skywalker is in between ROTJ and Force Awakens during the events of The Mandalorian show when he was rebuilding the Jedi Order and went to go help Mando and Grogu.
I have never watched a star wars video with LOTR background music before, but honestly, I support this.
1:41 season 4 and ahsoka:🤨🤨🤨🤨
I hoped to see here Plo Koon, for me, he 100% should be in top 5, thanks to sequels he is better than Luke
My favorite is Kenobi. His extremly good hearth, his friendship, his engagement, his feelings, all of it was peak writing. And he was the one (in my opinion) who suffered the most in Star Wars, but he never forgot who he was and who he is. An in my opinion, absolute perfect character
I would say Anakin suffered more.
@@pauloa.7609obi wan lost everything literally everything then dedicated most his life protecting anakins son
@@Lucas20030 obi Wan was raised as a jedi, since a very young age unlike anakin. you can't compare it. the jedi order and everyone around anakin failed him.
Cal from Fallen order I'd say is like #9 but I'd say Survivor Cal gotta be at least #6 for me, I genuinely like his character. Great vid though!
To be honest my favorite Jedi ever was Plo Koon. Bro was everything that Jedi should be, compassionate, skilled, open-minded and humble, he even developed an electric judgment which for me is one of the coolest Jedi powers. Not to mention that he was the one to bring Ahsoka to Jedi
6:52 yodas character model in rebels is down horrendous ngl
I hate it
It's the ugliest Yoda I've ever seen.
Did you put in an LotR theme at 7:08? Or is that just an SW theme that sounds similar.
I Liked it... Top 3 is exactly as should be!!! I like Kenobi a lot but my favourite is Ahsoka Tano!!! Anakin is an iconic star wars character!!!
As soon as he said that Anakin was number 11 I had a heart attack but when he said Rey i was healed
The video is really good but I would add: Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Quilan Vos, etc.
When you realize Mace Windu actually beat Darth Sidious fair and square, he was just that good, Sidious wasn’t holding back until Anakin showed up and pretended he was old
This guy deserves 1M subs
At the start bro almost got his whole reputation ended
Preach this list!! 10/10 agree 💯
2:48 you did not just call Mace Windu a “it”.
12.leia I don’t have the knowledge of her as a Jedi
11.Rey i liked her In last Jedi and force awakens but rise of skywalker she was a complete marysue
10.Ezra really interesting
9.mace windu 2:53
8.yoda I love him
7.Luke I love ‘Em Even in the sequels
6.cal Kestis great Jedi
5.Kanan Jarus so well written
4.obi-wan there are 2 types of people in this world people who love obi wan and liars
3.qui-gon jinn I love him so much
2.Ashoka my 2nd favourite Star Wars character
1.anakin I mean it’s anakin
6:18 Really hurt me when you said Jake Skywalker because my name is Jake
FYI, Samuel Jackson didn't ask for the purple lightsaber, he told.
bro did not really put qui-gon before mace windu smh
anakin ovrrated and ahsoka. Obi wan kenobi is the goat
Obi wan overacted
At the start of the video when he said that anakin was the worst jedi I was about to go to find him and punishe him for saying thay but then he said hes kidding so, you are fine for now
My fav Jedi will always be Kyle Katarn. He restored my liking towards jedi because he showed that despite being a Jedi he keeps his trusty Bryan blaster at his side
