Hey m8! Started watching your videos a couple of weeks back. You make really awesome content!
About the gas, just so you know, the "top" gas in Brazil for your kind of motorcycle is the regular one (comum). This may sound crazy, but:
Basically, we have high octane gasoline such as the "Podium" (you can find it in "Posto BR"), the regular (comum) and the one with additive called "aditivada" which is the "comum" with some added detergent. And that´s it.
As a side note, every single one of them contains about 27,5% alcohol which is ok for "flex engines" (that can "drink" alcohol or gas in any proportion) but it really sucks for gas only engines (there´s a Brazilian law to aid the suggar cane industry - our alcohol comes from suggar cane - which obligates the industry to mix this much alcohol into gas).
That being said, oficial motorcycle dealers, importers and manufacturers say you should go with "comum" instead of "aditivada" most of the time and use the "Podium" or another similar high octane gas (or add any motorcycle specific additive - detergent - yourself) from time to time to clean the injector nozzles and so on. Also, my bike´s manual says i shouldn´t use more than 10% alcohol mixed into the gas, but Brazilian legislation won´t let this happen unfortunately.
So, as crazy as this may sound, "comum" is actually better than "aditivada", specially for high octane motorcycles.
Next time you want to fill your bike at a gas station, just say "Completa com comum" (counplahtah cohm cohmum). "Completa" means "fill it up".
Just make sure you get to know the best petrol station "brands". That´s more important than asking "for the best one". Because if you ask for the best, they will give you "Aditivada" for sure, even tho it´s not the best - just the more expensive stuff. Check some videos about "não coloque gasolina aditivada" (don´t use aditivada) in youtube.
Also, some gas stations (specially the ones with unknown brand) even mess with the gas they sell, adding water or even more alcohol to the mix, so you end up with bad gas in your tank. Unbranded gas stations are know in Brazil as "bandeira branca" (white flag). Don´t ask me why lol In my state (Minas Gerais), we usually trust in Shell, Ipiranga, Ale and BR. Most of the time i just go with BR or Shell.

@@mrbrapz He is correct, but the "expansive" petrol is Shell's V-Power which is a higher quality high octane petrol, which is basically the same as the Podium petrol, these are the actual good stuff. Never put "aditivada" because that is only common petrol mixed with cleaning detergents. If you dont want to spend too much just go with common (comum). I would always go common petrol on the cg's, but on the MT i would go shell v power always

Nice content as always! Cool! Enjoy the coast. From July to November there are a lot of whales on the coast of Brazil but now they´re gone. In the South there´s a lot o right whales and they come very close to the shore (20 yards/60 feet sometimes). Snow & Curt has a channel, in English, in this platform and last year they where here in Brazil in a van and they saw and filmed the whales. Their channel is called Snow & Curt and they explored a lot of places in their van. Cheers!!!!
