Definitely!! Lowkey and Mic Righteous too, people will be listening to these in 50 years. Can't see any of these gun fingers drillers etc (although they can tour America?? I have been in prison too many times and the only thing that is a positive is you can't visit "the land of the free" 3 million prisoners more than the next nine combined!! "& the home of the brave" killing kids at home with thier conscious misinterpretation of the 2nd amendment & killing women and kids in mud huts in the middle east using a Xbox controller from a air conditioned shipping container in Arizona!! Brave indeed!! the 1st is free speech although every single email and call is monitored!! (That's why the world knows that the American's don't understand irony!!) Case in point the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act which was the biggest infringement of civil liberties in US history. But as Hitler used every time as Bush did, anything that it's in the interest of national security," The politics of fear. Sorry about the rant, if you agree check my channel at

Akala’s FITBs are amazing but they’re straight knowledge. Not much breakdown required. He wasn’t exaggerating btw. He actually does lecture at Oxford 🤯 If you’re looking for bars to break down then Avelino did a fire in the booth with Wretch 32 that is legendary. Bar after bar every single line. After that there’s a platform called daily duppy that showcases artists and uses visuals to highlight the bars. Perfect if you haven’t got your UK ears yet 🤣

Check Chester P if you like amazing wordsmanship for example "Don't let them change little man, keep your dream's true, You're in these streets, the streets are never in you!" And a person favourite is "Do you ever think that the kiddies listen to your lyrics? You ain't selling them the guns but you're selling them the image" Real Talk bro! You were right about the atomic bomb, the section he says when they mute him is "greasy yellow japs" which is sadly how America viewed those of Japanese descendant. Specifically during WW2, shortly following what happened at Pearl Harbor.

A few things... peckham is a district in london, he goes to war zones whilst others are too scared to go to peckham.
"Hammers" are a football team "west ham united" he played for thier youth team and was promising but weed and the roads took him off track, and he was not exaggerating phds studying him, Akala is one of the countries best mathematicians and he regularly lectures at Oxford University, mostly on political matters. You want to know how smart this bloke is, read his book "natives race and class in the ruins of empire"

Please please can you react to mic righteous fire in the booth 2....3 is my all time favorite but 2 gives you a more rounded view of mics talent and he speaks about the London riots from several years ago, which is pretty relevant today also! I think youll actually love mic.... There's no other emcee in the UK that has more passion IMO! 🔥 x
