Please read if you are wanting to go through the 135 process. These videos make it sound like if you simply complete all the tasks you will get your 135 and be on your way. Unfortunately there is a little more to it than that. Here is what I’ve experienced so far since I started attempting in the spring of 2022.
These videos are good and give you a basic understanding of what you’ll be facing but they don’t really go over the time frame. Mainly going through the CSOP process. I completed the PASI (pre application statement of intent) and now I’m waiting for the FAA to go through the CSOP ( certification service oversight process) which is how they determine if they have enough resources to help you through the entire process. I’ve been told that the process will continue once they complete the CSOP and I will be contacted. It’s been three months since I was entered into the CSOP process and haven’t heard anything. So I called and gave them the tracking number and was told I’m number 750 on the waitlist and can expect to be on it for 2 years. Another problem I had was simply trying to get to some one in the Faa that could help that wasn’t going to be in training all day everyday and that would have very little time to help me. When they where able to help they stated that they aren’t the right person to be talking to for inquiring about a 135. Another problem I had was actually sending in my PASI. I had read ac 120-49a and the 8900 guidance and there seem to be some differences as to what they say happens and what actually happens. They say that I should create an account and send my PASI online through there external portal (forgot the acronym for it). I thought the site was difficult to use and didn’t seem to work quite right. I emailed my inspector that I had been assigned and never got a response so I just went for it and sent my PASI online. My local FSDO declined it immediately and turns out they don’t use that external portal yet and said I should send it the old fashioned way by filling out the 8900-6 form and emailing it to them. That time they accepted it and three months later her I am trying to figure out how to not wait on the CSOP process for 2 years. If there are any inspectors or anyone who has experience going through this process I would greatly appreciate any tips and might be able to answer a couple questions if anyone has any.

I think we should regulate and fine all "checkers" players. Checkers and chess is far more dangerous. Im sure some child has died by eating a checker, Yet not 1 person has died or had a serious injury from a "UAS". Why dont ya just say drone because this has nothing to do with safety. They do not require Tracking chips on RC Airplanes which get up to the size of small cars and people definatly get hurt when they crash, and they crash often. This has all been paid for by Amazons Jeff Bezos, Richest Man in the world. Your not suppose to do everything he tells ya

I don't believe you know what Part 135 means. Are you thinking of Part 107 perhaps?
