You see place in Kenya and realize why the mzungu tried to make it a permanent settler colony like Australia and sa. They even had the temerity to name these places the 'White highlands' after evicting locals. Mungu ibariki Afrika and a happy pre madaraka day to all Kenyans!

Nyandarua has really developed, Nice houses unlike the last time I was there 25 years ago. I am really loving these videos from rural Kenya. We have been bombarded too much with Nairobi videos. Keep it up. Do something that others don't do
We enjoy the views from above most. There is nothing there just seeing a road. With drone shots one sees a much larger area with a bird's eyes! By the way the Aberdares ranges cover Kiambu, Murang'a, Nyeri and Nyandarua counties. You just said that they are located in Nyandarua County.
Imagine Kenya would be another Canada, Australia or South Africa if it wasn’t for the BRAVE Kenyan ancestors who shed their BLOOD for their nation. God bless Kenya ✊🏿
2:41 abadare ranges is home to abadare national park the third national park to be established in 1950, after Nairobi and tsavo respectively, named after lord abadare, it's an important migration route for elies migrating to Mt Kenya, ngare ndare, lewa and samburu national reserves its the water catchment of ewaso nyiro, chania river it hosts the ark hotel where queen Elizabeth was declared the queen after her father's death while having a vacation in the abadare national park
I hope you'll dig out some of the history around the areas you are passing through. It has a rich and sometimes painful history. There are many monuments just next to the road you are driving. The Happy Valley, settler mansions, and much, much more.
The pilot is So experienced, he is taking every caution to consideration...The ride becomes more swift with Driver on the other hand taking the wheel down.Great job Guys
Ave just seen you guys passing by my grandma home place near wajohi girls, that place is so dope and you made it amazing through the camera lens, keep it up bro
What I love most about your videos is that, not only do you have awesome footage but you also share interesting (insider) information and details about the areas you visit.
Afrikan Traveller, and Josh Muuo, I can’t thank you enough!! The drone shots of the Aberdares are breathtaking! And your geographical knowledge and love of the land makes this video therapeutic! Nīewega Wa Nyūmba! 💝🙏🏾💕
Nyambura was a great investment, the content has really improved. I lived here in my early age and went to boarding school here(Kamuka anyone)? So i understand when you mention the cold weather especially in the morning. Olkalau has not changed much just new roads. Nice....John am still waiting for the Meru, Timau, Subuiga trip. Take Josh with you
Thank you Afrikan traveller for showing us Kenia, this is a awesome beautifull country. The motherland at large is on another level of beauty and dynamics, including her population.
great job as usual bro.. another history moment.. its aberdares ranges, named by scottish settlers after aberdare region in wales..also named by joseph thompson after a welsh aristocrat. nyandarua is the original name in kikuyu meaning a place of dried hides, after the shadow from the ranges.. is promised land..
hello there 🤠🤠🤠 i really love your videos my bro. After work am usually too tired to watch movies so i usually go straight to your channel and watch your videos and a few cartoons with my kid. I have a suggestion, if its okay with you that is, maybe you can also be taking videos while hiking hills and mountains. I bet the drone shots up there would just be holistic, something nobody has ever done🙂🙂. You and Josh look quite physically enabled. Climbing a mountain or a hill would be like eating chips for you😂😂😂 very easy. Anyway, I love your videos, keep doing what you do, stay safe and keep on being blessed🙌🙌🙌🙌 thank you🤠
I have really enjoyed this vlog, wow makes me miss home i have been here before with school trips in 2004 i was in class 6, but of course seeing it from such professional videography is amazing thank you guys😍😍😍😍
Guys please smash the like button and share... also don't skip the Ad's let us support the channel by watching them... thanks all for your continuity of being here and support💪💪💪🙇♂️🙇♂️
I so much appreciate your effort to capture your videos while driving. I was just wondering how you shoot from high up with incredible clarity and then you happened to explain. As you had promised, the sceneries are fantastic. Aberdares is humongous given that the Nyeri side is yet to be covered. This footage alongside Kericho tea farms, Kisumu, Mwae rice fields etc are my all time faves.
Nice... Since you're going geography I hope you will cover the Yatta Plateau in Tsavo East National Park, which is the World's longest lava flow that spans over 300 kilometers.
Thanks for taking me back to my Geography classes......those ranges are the one forming so called 'tao la mashariki' they goes up to Usambara mountain ranges and Udzungwa mountain ranges in Tanzania
Wow the place looks beautiful! This place can be a good hideout away from the Nairobi pollution! But that’s possible if you own a house around those areas!
Thanks for showing us the world through your lens. Am a fan of your works and I learn a lot from them. Kudos. A point for Improvement, in some videos the music is quite high and the narration too low and one has to keep lowering and increasing the volume. Other than that, cool works bro. Keep it up
Nice effort but it would be nice if you gave a running commentary of the places you pass. BTW, there is no Olkalou to Naivasha road. You were on Olkalou to Flyover road. Your drone was great.
Thank you Afrikan Traveller and Josh for visiting my home town (Engineer town). Hope you enjoyed the scenic view however the road between Njabini and Fly-Over should be repaired by the county government (Franci Kimemia - The governor ) ASAP.
Aberdare Range, mountain range, forming a section of the eastern rim of the Great Rift Valley in west-central Kenya, northeast of Naivasha and Gilgil and just south of the Equator.

another awesome video, great detail explanation of the area and road you'll be taking. at 2:25 .. you said "aberdare range is the longest in Kenya so far..." so far?? will there be any more ranges popping up soon or in the future? I thought that was kinda funny. no worries, keep up the great work! how about you show us a nice nyama choma place in nairobi at some point? cheers. 🍻

Thank you.

This was very scenery. I love the potatoe farm. In my country (Libsria) potato greens are one of our most popular dishes. It tastes just like spinach.
In Kenya we don't eat potato greens and most greens are not consumed by the majority including kale and spinach stalks

Try getting closer to the mountains by using the Wanjohi route, leads you through the forest and you exit at ndonyo njeru town. A 4x4 recommended.
