I highly appreciate the lady for the demo she did on water, and her explanation. Nevertheless that flow of water is called vortical flow and its caused by relative motion of a falling body with respect to earth's rotation. I. e if a body falls in a rotating field it must experience a continuous drift( which cuses rotation of the water.) At exact equator line vortices in both orientations cancel out causing stillness when pouring along the equator line. The same effect is the one that causes formation of hurricanes and tornadoes at higher latitudes and prevents formation of those things arround the equator, thats why you will never hear of hurricanes arround equatorial countries.
Kenya is a land of contrast, climatic diverse, you move from one region to another there's change in climate and terrein as the saying goes magical Kenya
Absolutely brilliant. Josh Muuo, you are a genius! Thank you Afrikan Traveller, may you and your wife be blessed. I also saw a video of your retirement home and really loved it.
@African Traveller...Subukia is my home.I felt like I was visiting home again..so lovely. Feeling homesick. Watching from Ohio USA. Wow now I will show my American friends how home really looks like..veery good job!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Watching the 1st few seconds with my mouth wide open...I don't know whether to cry or jump...no words can describe how I feel. This was beautifully shot. Asante for taking us on the journey.
Wamunyu and show us the sculptures which are so famous. We only hear of them and see the beauty when our friends gift them to us after the travel to Kenya please
Awesome work. Thanks Afrikan traveller for sharing Josh's channel. Guys let's make John reach the 100k subscribers before August. He is doing a wonderful work.
That is a normal hustle as you already know in Nanyuki. I think a big part of Nanyuki's popularity with visitors is due to the equator and the people showing them the mystery of how it works.
Greetings Afrikan Traveller, its good that you are living your best life in Kenya as a freelance RUclipsr-Vlogger. Once again your drone is making the day or content in this area of Kenya and thanks for your diligence and drive. Kenya like the whole of the African continent is very beautiful Keep up the great work.
It's just a nostalgia... Remembering.. early 2000s.... I hope nta omoka... Niaze road trips... Please also you can check Ol kalou to ndodori... It's awesome... In some point there isn't network connection...
This is very interesting. I come from Nakuru but currently living abroad. I also happen to have a passion in videography and photography. You are refreshing my memory. I took pictures at the same viewpoint you just passed. Keep on with this spectacular scenes. You keep me updated on the latest developments of our country. This is not the Nakuru I knew so well. Keep on with the good work you are doing and see you in the next trip.
I like your content can I suggest you try to capture imagination of every county you go through, culture traditional food, music b4 wazungu came.Rift valley has most of the best marathon runners 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ something to get history about, their training facilities, showcase some of those places.I like the explanation with equator thanks 🙏
Mau Escarpment, steep natural rampart along the western rim of the Great Rift Valley in western Kenya, west and south of the town of Nakuru; it rises to more than 10,000 feet (3,000 m) on the Equator. Its crest is covered with a vast forest.
Bro I was waiting for this saaaana,I used that road back in 2014 when it was still bad,eeh do you remember those essays we used to write in primary with the heading a day to remember?that was it!!I loved it,and was there at subukia view point by 7am!Kenya is beautiful❤️🇰🇪
Amazing shots! Growing up in Kenya I always heard of these places but never got a chance to see them. I just learnt the thing about the equator from you guys, that was cool! Can you guys do Lakes Turkana and Magadi if possible? Great job to both of you, Asanteni sana!!
The views man! Out of this world. Its sad or maybe not that Kenya's beauty is not yet properly portrayed on the world eco system, despite seriously being one of the most beautiful and diverse countries on the planet. I have travelled lots and lots, and Kenya for sure is way up there. This view far exceeds some of the views they talk about re: Scotland etc. AF you must keep on and put this country on a world stage. It will happen. Just research how you can make your videos be more received by the West too. Otherwise well done.

Wow👌👌👌👌
It is the result of the phenomenon known as the "Coriolis Effect"
Nyahururu is not a Maasai word but Laikipia is Maasai. "Hururu" or "Hururuka" is Kikuyu for cliff or waterfall.
I wish the government responsible could make the equator place attractive.
Me : Watches the whole vlog like I didn't edit it 😅😅 I have to re live the trip through the video , again and again 😊

Odd to think that one day this will be coastal kenya.. and obligatory classic water con when you pass the equator 🤣🤣
What you guys are trying to explore and describe is called the Coriolis effect.
