India's obsession with Love in the Rain goes way back. Even classical sanskrit plays and ancient songs celebrate this. It has to do with India's life patterns that revolve around the Monsoons. IT WAS SO GOOD 😍 After you did this this All Classical podcast, I'm sure now you get we call them the best musical period for music industry, just the sheer amount of talent at that time was insane., had goosebumps throughout the podcast. Kishore Kumar had some rare gifts. His technique involved singing directly into the mike. This made the song seem fluent and effortless. He could yodel very beautifully. He was the one who popularized yodelling in India and in the modern Indian music I think only Sonu Nigam is the one who did it. Also just a fun fact Asha Bhosle was married to RD Burman
Sanam's "Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha" cover was really good-one of the best covers I have heard. Nothing beats the old-world charm of the original, but that was an excellent cover. Lata herself would have liked it if she'd heard it. It definitely kept the essence and soul alive, unlike most remakes. By the way, the beautiful actress Madhubala was also considered the Marilyn Monroe of India because of her beauty, but unlike Marilyn, she was a good actress, too!

Can u give me the link of this r&b video everyone is talking about.... I'm not finding any such video on their chanel
@@Rash23215 it was a live stream so it's not on the channel anymore
I'm just thinking about how much cultural knowledge you guys just absorbed properly, it's very cool to see that. If you're not learning, then you're losing in this world.... And you're learning, and this will make your own future kids very strong. Waheguru, may he bless them with health, wealth and longevity!
You guys are doing a great job by connecting younger generations with the golden music days.. beautiful review.. you guys deserve a big applause for bringing these legends’ music to the young minds
I’m so glad you guys discovered Sanam, because honestly, out of all the covers to have released in the past decade, they have put out the best. They give the song a new life while staying true to the original composition.
Guys you should have listened man kyu behakare behaka. It is sung by both Latha mangeshkar and asha bhosle.
Indian music is like, you count while learning then you forget all those rules as it becomes muscle memory. Then music flows..❤
At 27:10, the time signature is of 7/7 beats in the structure 3-4/3-4. Roopak Taal in classical music. Look at 35:09, the guitarist plays the taal.
The one for 49:30 or so, is 6/6 beats in the structure 3-3/3-3 - Dadra taal.
Loved this reaction to these classics. Learned so much about the musical insight aspects of the arrangements from you two. Adore the love of good music you both share. 👍🏼😀
All legendary songs of indian classic that flows through all generation ❤
Nostalgic.Beautiful poetry in these songs. Thanks for playing these songs!!
This is the only 1 reaction channel deserves to be on RUclips. This two ppl are so knowledgeable and knowing what they doing. ❤❤❤ so much ❤
This channel is something else. They are different than any other reaction channels. They are actually in love with art and music. They want to understand every details of music they are listening to. They are honestly invested in any music they are hearing. The research they do in between adds more honesty to it. Totally in love with you both.
The emotion w which Rafi sahab used to sing each n every song is something out of this world be it classical song upbeat song sad happy qawwali bhajan he sang everything im a singer myself I learnt everything from him and i some of his songs the notes he hit effortlessly even i can't nobody can match that he made singing immortal GREATEST EVER I LOVE HIM SM😭♥️
O my god what a live it was today had no idea wtf was r&b my mind blasted😂
What is it Bro , I missed it , How to Watch it
@@Aman__ It's not on the channel anymore but in a nutshell it was a R&B stream so everyone had to recommend R&B music but most music from India was actually not R&B so efra kind of taught everyone (putting it mildly) what R&B means😂 and yeah it was this whole thing about how if three more recommendations turn out to be non R&B they'll end the stream and then we had almost saved the day (thanks to poonam but that's a whole diff story) but then someone messed it up and it was all like a whole laughter ride (I don't even know if that's a term but you get what I mean)and like super fun one of my fav live streams for sure..
@@RajniMishra223
Holyshit , that sounds So FUN and I totally missed out! Seriously, Wtf , Sad !! But Thanks for Explaining though
@@Aman__ no problem:)
Thank you for introducing these luscious songs to so many people in India who still don't know them
We deserve such Old versus New /cover comparisons.. more..
16:48, the actor in this was considered as the very first superstar of Indian cinema, no one was close to him in terms of stardom, just like now srk is❤❤
Shreya's cover on aap ki Nazro is also awesome!
More of these black and white Hindi cinema and more Madhubala, kishore Kumar, and Mohammad rafi
48:24 that's a classical music instrument called Swarmandal 😊
I think Dev Anand might be another thing you will like more, most of his movies had great songs. Whenever I want feelings I go back to the old songs, for every mood there are many songs with amazing lyrics. As you rightly mentioned it had soul, most of the songs these days (not just remixes) lack soul.

You guys react and search for Indian Cinema and Music more than technical Indian Musical channel. Respect
I freaking love every single song in this video. It's my comfort. Great choice this time guys.
C'mon we need part 2 of this podcast . IT WAS SO GOOD 😍
After you did this this All Classical podcast, I'm sure now you get we call them the best musical period for music industry, just the sheer amount of talent at that time was insane., had goosebumps throughout the podcast.
Lovely video 😊 waiting for 2nd part
🤩I REALLY LOVED THIS PODCAST....
Amazing podcast👍
Sanam's "Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha" cover was really good-one of the best covers I have heard. Nothing beats the old-world charm of the original, but that was an excellent cover. Lata herself would have liked it if she'd heard it. It definitely kept the essence and soul alive, unlike most remakes.
By the way, the beautiful actress Madhubala was also considered the Marilyn Monroe of India because of her beauty, but unlike Marilyn, she was a good actress, too!
You have just hit the gold mine of the Indian cinema . The Golden era of organic cinema… Wish you get across the best of the diamonds of that era ❤
Clap clap.... Yipppeee.... We need all the parts that might go upto hundreds.. you are at the tip right now...starting from the 50's to 2024 you will go a lot deeper... Believe me....
Who's here after having a R&B Masterclass 😅😂
Hahahahaha you were the best chat 😂
I am
What is it Bro , I missed it , How to Watch it
I was sweating every time a desi song got played 😂
Me! Me!
Thnks god I know this Bollywood era too .....coz today's songs will never match that level....never ever .....❤
Please do more of these ❤❤❤❤ every indian who loves retro bollywood will love this too..and let me tell u there are millions of them❤❤
Yess that was one of the songs that started the Indian obsession of rain, romance, roof. Several songs have been themed around it. Shahrukh's Chak Dhoom Dhoom and Sonu Nigam's On The Roof In The Rain are probably the best of all those
Listen old Indian singer and see the face of actor,,,the same singer will sound different for each actor
Great podcast…one of your best, you just got a brief glimpse of a large treasure of old hindi songs, Glad you are not looking at those recent ‘most popular” crappy lists
Listen that song "abhi na jao chhhodkar in Sonu nigam's voice or Shreya's specially their live performance
Rafi saheb ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This podcast was brilliant..Waiting for part 2 and 3
This is my dream feature friday video =D The golden era

I loved your reaction to this video. Apart from the remarks on the musicality which went over my head, me being musically handicapped, learned a lot of stuff, I enjoyed your non-musical observations most. Keep it up. And I hope to see more reactions to Old Hindi Songs. Maybe Tamil an Malayalam songs too?
Amazing, one of the best podcasts! Thanks You!!!
Great ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Loved it ..yes I want a part 2
Few years ago when I was 10-11 years old I asked my father about his favourite singer he told Kishore Kumar and I was a child and I was like what!! But now I can understand why he was a legend ❤❤
