1953 International IHC R-110 turned GASSER!

1953 International Truck that we previously got running on an earlier video is now being turned into a full on Gasser to race with at drag and drive events. We missed our previous years deadline for Sick Week, will we finally be able to make it to race at the end of January 2024? We hope so!

I dig those Holley Valve Covers, I like the finned look. I had the same problem with my edelbrock valve covers interfering with my intake manifold.

Dear Brittany and Daniel,
You need to be very careful with the 1953 International R-110 and offer her a lot of love since this truck is out of the year of my birth. It looks like she got another (to my opinion overhauled) V8 engine and as far as my knowledge goes this truck originally was equipped with a 6 cylinder line engine. The steering column also differs considerably from the original😂. As long as you’ll get some fun with this truck as a racer it’s fine with me but to be frankly I would have loved to see this truck fully restored in her original condition because that offers such a classic truck an unbelievable value. Willeke and I think there won’t be a new episode from your side before Christmas so we like to wish you as well as your both families a very merry Christmas and a happy new year plus we send you love from the Netherlands

Thank you, we hope you guys had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well! The problem with restoring this truck is money, the body has a lot of dents and is not very straight. There's a reason why everything of ours is not painted and just left as patina. We don't have the extra money into making them look nice. We enjoy getting them running and driving them as is. Maybe one day we will get to the point of being able to have painted vehicles but for now it is what it is. lol
