Thank you Alex for this video. Dubai will always be home for me. Am returning back from Goa to Dubai on April 8th, stay there for 4 days with my sis and then fly back to Toronto on April 14th. When I moved from Dubai to Toronto back in 2011, most people I interacted with had the same mentality about Dubai. It also bugs me a lot about all the misconceptions people have about Dubai. For me the only part I would agree with is Dubai being extremely hot for most part of the year. I guess that is something now I can't adapt to in spite of growing up in Dubai 😋

i love all ur vidoes but in this one u made 1 mistake which is u said dubai is the biggest emirate in uae ( 4:29 - 4:31 )but Abu Dhabi is the biggest. Anyways great video

What about LGBTQ rights?? You never discuss that. UAE? or Etihad? Many horrible human rights violations. What is your opinion about that? I would estimate 80% of male flight attendants in the US, Canada and Europe are probably members of that community. US airlines have zero tolerance for discrimination. Can you say that of Etihad? What say you?
