Love how Galadriel was supposed to be one of the wisest and THE most perceptive of all the elves, and she constantly keeps failing in this series because.... Sauron is hot or something? Best character adaptation of all time.
Nevermind in the actual text of this story, Galadriel rejects Annatar and the rings. Oh and the three rings still shouldn't be made yet.

So glad you're doing this again! The only good things to come from Rings of Power are the hilarious reviews and the memes!
What I can't get my head around is that Nori and squinty Gandalf should be able to see Poppy before she walks into the trap. Poppy isn't sneaking, simply following, Nori is high up on a lookout point - the only way to not see Poppy is to deliberately refuse to find out whom you're about to jump. I guess they wanted a moment like the one where Frodo and Sam catch Gollum, but did this in the worst way possible. The fact that this was very awkwardly cut indicates that they must have realized the absurdity of this scene in the editing room, but had to include it.
Yeah, it was a call back to Frodo and Gandalf hearing Sam under the eaves

My favorite part was when Sauron stopped at The Peasant Welcome Center, and talked to that guy while they were both using the urinals

How to describe this series in just three words -- "Rings of Plastic" -- brilliant!!!
They look like they came from a 1970s-era gumball machine, don't they? (Trust me, they do. I'm old enough to remember such things.) Cheap and cheesy. Not good if you're making a television series called "Rings of POWER".

Okay, I’ll laugh but just know I’m crying inside too. This show breaks my heart.
My favourite part of the Elf plot this episode is that the rings end up in the exact same place with the same people as they were in the opening scene so we really could have skipped the entire fugitive Elrond side quest and have them use the rings in the opening scene and nothing would be lost narratively.
Exactly. And it's kind of the same for the other two story lines. There is practically no development, but a constant going in circles. Good plot points bring changes; they force characters to behave in different ways that they've done so far. There wasn't a single such plot point.
That happens a lot in this show. Be a shame to have most of your final episode of last season devoted to saying goodbye to someone- oh aaand she’s back with them in episode 1 of the next season 😂

Watching the shows adds nothing
I watch RUclipsr “Council of the Rings” for a succinct plot summary. I recommend RUclipsr “Charlie Hopkinson” for another humorous take and “ Random Film Talk” for the pedantic, nit picking take down. Between Liene and these 3 other YTs, each episode of ROP gives me about 3 hours of entertainment.

Somehow Liene is channeling the voice in my head as I watched this, just in a more funny way. This is so bad that, well, I can’t look away.
This is the only way in which I will be consuming this attempt at a show.
But also the fact that Gil-galad reads so easily as older than Galadriel enrages me on a whole new level. Galadriel is eons older and wiser than Gil-galad. Even though he's the High King of their people, he would have incredible respect for her. Their relationship should be more favorite nephew to powerful, genius auntie than anything else.

it is best to read the book along with the scenes, the point of this series must be in the moments described in the book, not what fills the movie up to the crucial moment

Just what Tolkien fans have been asking for... A PRE-PREQUEL to explain the events of the PREQUEL. Who exactly was this crap written for? Sauron turns into a Venom symbiote and eats a few people, the laziest, crappiest writing and something Tolkien would've laughed at if you'd told him that was what Lord of the Rings would become.

Sauron should automaticcaly be in charge of the orcs he should not need to make a speach like a normal person he is a demigod on the same level as a balrog this make him just look weak. They should not have been able to successfully attack and destroy his mortal body he should have his full power he has yet to make the one ring.
