Great video. I had a very similar edger for many years. Finally decided to sell it because I already have enough projects. It was a beast, though, and came with 7 insert-tooth blades.
I see Ms. McCoy using it in several videos. Now they did put some back on the mill sometimes if they were busting wide boards in half or they were heavy. Thanks for watching and commenting
Watch drive chain on feed roller sprocket, looks like it's got to much slack in it, trying to ride on tooth, I don't know. Enjoy watching your channel.
@@templehillsawmill1748 I knew they were using it but I couldn't actually see the edger itself. Maybe it's my screen or maybe I have brain damage of some kind. I almost died a couple of years ago. Maybe it shouldn't have been almost. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. Thanks for the fact check!
Rollers have to be clean and perfectly parallel to pass a board through straight. And the two board surfaces top and bottom have to be parallel as well. Can't tell if the rollers are clean and free of pitch and chips.
@deernutOO oh they were caked up with pitch. I scraped them clean. I gotta confess though. The first board cut crooked because I used the left saw that has no bits. It cut cut nice with the two blades on the right side that have bits. Lol

@@dereksstuff8395 I bet that was a beast.
I love my old Edmiston edger. It sure does speed things up. I used to edge on the carriage, that is for the birds.
Yes sir the edging on the mill is painful! Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers
@@stevenclaeys6252 I appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching and commenting
Cool video
Thanks, David, I appreciate you watching and commenting
Good to see the edger running again. I have seen here running the edger some times
I'm excited to see it used and save some time for us. I appreciate ya and thanks for watching and commenting
I don't remember ever seeing the McCoys using the edger. I knew it was there but never in the videos.

@@Onthedge308 I'll check that out. It does appear to be loose. Thanks for watching and commenting
I have seen Mother using the edger in lots of Mike's videos.

You know, if you had some Celotex insulation you could partially insulate the saw cab ad keep out some of the wind and cold
@robertgreen8695 that's a great idea. And put in a little heater too. Thanks for watching and commenting
Will we see more of the edger in the future?
Bill
@williamellis8993 Yes, sir, I'm excited to show it in the production next time we saw.
