What I liked about this show was that they showcased (I saw it on IGTV) the African artisans collaborated with to produce the prints on the clothes and to make the pottery used in the show's décor. Dior (Maria Grazia) using its influence to highlight the talents of those usually marginalized and overlooked is another step in bringing some balance to this world.

The pieces were just so incredible and it was such a pleasure to be able to learn about the wax fabrics they used and the African artists they worked alongside - and the intricacies of the prints are so overwhelming to take in because they are so finely detailed! They used a quote at the begging of the occasion that I had to google afterwards because I loved it so much! 'Culture teaches us to live together, teaches us that we're not alone in the world, that other people have different traditions and ways of living that are just as valid as our own.' Such an experience! xx
OMG vic this video was amazing! I LOVE the little promotional videos that you and Alex put together, I know I tell you all of the time on IG but I think they are so amazing!
