It was even more common in the past, especially after Queen Victorious popularized the whole concept of a “white wedding” with a fancy white ball gown and a big cake made with refined white sugar. But even then, that was mainly a tradition observed by the nobility and wealthy class, as textiles and clothes were much more expensive than they are now , because while machine sewing and mechanized looms to weave fabric were common, a person still had to cut, assemble, and stitch that garment together. Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME SHOW!!! I'm SOOOOOO looking forward to the rest of y'all's reviews. One of the things I appreciate most about this show is how they established, right off the bat, that Lucy has a wide variety of skills, both in and out of combat. Given that so many shows lately just create a 'BaDaSs GrRrLbOsS' character who's the bestest there ever was at everydamnthing, with no explanation, no backstory, and no common sense, it was genuinely refreshing to SEE Lucy demonstrate her skills, and SEE how she learned them. That being said, I ALSO really appreciate that, when she was fighting Monty in their chamber, she didn't just go all Rey Palpatine and kick his ass, despite the clear difference in their size, strength, and, fight experience. Yes, she fought back, and yes she fought hard, but there's a BIG difference between being TRAINED TO FIGHT, and ACTUALLY BEING A FIGHTER. Monty was a Raider. He probably fought for his life on a weekly, if not daily basis. He was bigger and stronger than Lucy, and he, realistically, was kicking her ass. It was only her quick thinking, and her never giving up, that allowed her to slice and dice him. Incredible scene! Amazing character development!! And a classic example of SHOW, DONT TELL. And that isn't even taking into account all the OTHER amazingness in the episode. :D I am SO GLAD that this show got renewed for a second season. These folks are doing it RIGHT!!

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
There is something in the air, and it is not the gamma radiation.
It takes place 9 years after Fallout 4, 219 years after the Great War.
That South Pacific response may be one of the greatest moments on this channel.

The way Adam smacks Jay on the arm while trying to remember that actress had me dying, lmao. Thought Jay was about to go flying across the room.
Outside of TLOU, this might be the greatest adaptation of a video game ever 🤯🤯🤯
And Arcane
This is the first vid I’ve ever watched from you guys but I’m begging for an “I got branded at the Olive Garden with Adam and Jay” tshirt
Adam: Guesses the Musical
Jay: "As Written"
“There’s a (razorblade) in my boot.”
The maelstrom of fear, panic, joy and triumph Adam endures here over his guess is glorious.
Was wondering where I knew Goose-stache from. He was on a show called Superstore.
Hell yeah, I JUST finished episode 5 and have been waiting to see your guy's take! It's kinda exactly what I had hoped. Weird, gory, dramatic, and fun [and I second the New Vegas recommend it's excellent and ties into this story at least tangentially]
The facial journeys between you two this episode was hilarious. :P
The real Maud'Dib! The communal wedding dress. Both sweet and creepy at the same time. How many of the bridges kept it on while sexing it up for the first time? . . . . Great show! You guys are so fun to watch react. And indeed bow to Adam.
The look of disgust on Adams face when he seen it was a community reused wedding dress 😂😂
Been waiting patiently for this!!! Thank you boys👍👍
I don't know ANYTHING about ANY video games but this was the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. So creative. Perfect direction, design, and acting. BTW. NO desire to play the game. 😂 I am so glad you guys are reacting to this.
I spit out my tea when u said "It was weird choice to have it at an Olive Garden."
Thanks, I've been waiting for your Fallout reaction for days! Thank you!
Dane is Renna from Wheel of Time Season 2! They were so good in that, I’m glad they got a role in this as a much more likable character. 😂
Thats face when he hears about "Community wedding dress" and the weird awkward moment after that...
He must play a fallout game for more weird stuff like that.
I am SO GLAD that this show got renewed for a second season. These folks are doing it RIGHT!!
The vastly different reactions to the community wedding dress made me laugh harder than I expected 😂
The democracy coursing through my veins when Adam hit those notes
13:08 jay’s face when Adam got the right. Answer 😂😂
I had to wait to binge it all before I could watch this reaction and it was KILLING ME. I am so hyped to watch you guys react to it! I've played all the games with positive karma / good guy (and in F4 I'm a minuteman player) and I am soooooo hyped. LETS GO!
Just an update according to the latest trailer palooza Jay had yet to pay up!
As a fan of Jonathan Nolan's series Person Of Interest, I really look forward to watching the rest of the episodes. Also, Harold Finch and his dog are back.
OK , THE FACT THAT ADAM pulled "South Pacific" is impressive . Who has he been hanging out with ?
Kyle, in this show, TOTALLY makes up for ‘Showgirls’
Finally. We've been praying to the content gods and cha boys answered!!
Just finished it last night, and it was fantastic.
Also, can we get a campaign going to get Adam to play Fallout 3/New Vegas/4 on the channel?
Great show, enjoy reacting to it. Sarita Choudhury was not in Ms Marvel (though it'd be awesome if she joins it), she's a very prolific and talented legend in things like And Just Like That and The Green Knight amongst others.
Edit: "Josh Gondleman?" Ha! 😂 Josh for season 2
so is the leader of that raider group from vault 31 that lucy's father mentioned considering she and him have some sort of history?
25:45 yes, yes you should! Especially after seeing your reaction to the airship.
Lmao, Jay’s reaction when Adam got South Pacific right. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You say it early this feels like a game and i love it. They use even a stimpack and no explanation of what it is and how it works. just a game mechanic in a television series and it works.
I was so anxiously awaiting this reaction! I dont know what it is but this show was made for the boys to react. Being a huge fallout fan i loved this show start to finish and i think you guys will too.
34:54 the armor is based on the fallout 4 take on the concept. In 3 and new vegas they looked kinda silly, worn as normal armor, but in 4 they are mounted on a frame as a kind of vehicle
They used to call me Sugarfoot. On account of the diabetes. Now they just call me Lefty.
13:08 - "South Pacific". 😂😂 what a great moment in RUclips history.
The set work and the costuming is pretty incredible.
3:43 - It may look like the '50s or '60s, but this scene takes place on Saturday, October 23, 2077.
It's 50's
@DominatorElite4 The '50s lasted over 125 years. There's no correcting to be done here.
I'm not even kidding there was a 2 second interval after Adam said South Pacific where I truly believed Jay was about to kiss him lmaoooo
122 vaults.
The Brotherhood was actually originally formed out West, the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood are an offshoot.
The Brotherhood of Steel originated in California, but in the 200 years since its formation, it now has multiple chapters on both East and West coasts of the US
This is like an inverse of invincible where Jay knows more about the source material than Adam does
pReview'd, You're so talented! I had to hit the like button!
Thank you so much. Welcome 😊
This South Pacific moment I had to go back multiple times to rewatch from laughing so hard
The actor playing Maximus's friend (Dane) was Renna from The Wheel of Time
Adam's reaction to that guy's head getting used as a muzzle break was about my reaction too. So glad this show is leaning into the almost comical violence of the games.
Yeah everyone has clearly taken the bloody mess perk, it's awsome. 😂
"Yo, dude. This ain't a Motel 6. There's a sink right over there."
The difference in facial expressions between the cut from Walton goggins’ character going inside for the cake and coming out with it is phenomenal
Amazing show! I miss getting excited like this about a series! Also made me want to play the game again!
20:10… I think it’s called ‘Jet’.
31:54 yes, exactly! Shoes are supposed to be a safe place 😭
Jumped into this show intending to watch the first few episodes and then do one a day. Ended up binging all 8 in the first 24 hours! Can't wait to see you guys watch this through!
