Complete mastery of styles, the instrument, the knowledge of the tunes, the ability to extemporize - this is innate. It cannot be taught. Sheer musical brilliance. Thank you.

Unfortunately, this is the first time I have ever heard of this phenomenal pianist. How I have spent such an incredible amount of time listening to music in my 70 years and been deprived of this immensely talented musician? I will listen to all of his music I can find, and always cherish the time spent!

I had the good fortune to see and hear this man live some years ago in a very intimate setting similar to this. Apart from his phenomenal pianistic skills, his knowledge and ability to meld any form of music into not just an entertaining presentation but a masterclass of the keyboard is mind blowing. Entertaining, funny, creative, amusing and just simply, good.

To think that an auditorium full of complete strangers could sit and listen to Harry the Piano 🎹. And come away from this experience feeling we have just had a conversation with a long lost family member. All of our fears and concerns for their wellbeing and safekeeping have been addressed. We can now, at Harry’s conclusion of an exchange of music virtuoso’s . Leave with a lighter heart and promises of a better tomorrow.?!!! Thanks Harry.

The mature members of the audience got it. The young ones did not recognise a lot of what they were hearing. The cruise audience which he was unkind about were actually better able to understand his performance.

    Dear Oxford Union Team,
I am reaching out to request your support in bringing attention to the ongoing students' protests in Pakistan. The situation there is dire, with students courageously standing up against significant challenges. Unfortunately, their voices are being suppressed, and the world needs to hear their story. Your platform has a strong influence and the ability to shed light on important issues. I kindly ask you to cover these protests and the current incidents in Pakistan, helping to inform your audience and raise global awareness about the struggles these students are facing. Your coverage could make a meaningful difference in their fight for justice.
    Thank you for your consideration.

@@baxtercol My comment was not at all aggressive I hope, I am an expat retiree with few years of commentary left.
I have followed good debates for years and enjoyed many Oxford debates. Recently, I observe that the quality of the people chosen is somewhat less than would be expected by Oxford. I hope you can raise Oxford debates to their former levels.
People of worth. Of experience in real life, those that support English life and values and those against..
Be proud of Britain. You enjoy Britain but she may soon be lost in your generation but invite the true leaders opposing Britain.
Crazy ! that as a Miner, I was considered Left wing by Thatcher's Conservative government and now probably Right wing by the current Labour government.
I never moved or changed my ideals , governments did.
SO, am I far right right or far wrong? I am just a feather in the wind?

@@eamo106 you're absolutely right. I'm old enough to have had some really good debates too. I meant my comment as a bit of dry gentle humor. I really thought you were commenting on the performer and the caliber of guests appearing at Oxford but it seems you were opining more about the audience. If that's the case, I strongly agree. I really enjoyed Harry piano, though. I've enjoyed our exchange. If you don't mind my asking, where are you located now, since you commented you are an expat? I'm an American of English, Irish and a lesser amount of Scott heritage. I miss your side of the pond. Be blessed.
