- How we make our simple finger pull handles for our bespoke wardrobes and drawers etc, using 2 jigs and a half inch Makita router and a quarter inch DeWalt router.
Simple process - step by step.
Hello Jim, could you please let me know where you got the Festool Plug It Conversion Kit?
I got the plug it leads from Nuts and Bolts in weston super mare UK. But I have a feeling festool have stopped making them.
what bit did you use?
This is by far the clearest set of instructions on how to do this I've seen on RUclips. Now I feel confident to give it a try. Thanks.
thank you
Great video! Can you tell me the thickness of that drawer front?
Hi Colin we used 22 mm MR MDF for these drawer fronts
Great video with clear instructions, Thank you. Can you share the Wealden tools product code for the finger pull cutter, please?
Great job Jim, would love to see more videos of your work. Very clear no bs guide here, thank you.
Do you spray these yourselves or sub out the finishing?
These were hand painted actually - but we sub our our spray work these days.
I assume you do them as a two part so you not got the inner core of thr MDF on the inside of the drawer pull?
Have you tried using high quality dense MDF like Finsa Hydrafugo or similar to eliminate that 2nd & third stages?
Nice simple guide video though.
The first one does the finger pull - the second one does the back plate.
It looks simple, but obviously you already have the technique and accessories well mastered, thanks for teaching us, Success!
Wow
Very easily demonstrated
Good job
Time flies. In just two years, finger handles can be made independently by machines.
They can - but only if you have one of the machines!
@@jimsharplesfurniture I really do hahahahaha
Very well demonstrated! Thank you
Thank you!
Great video. How are you cutting the oak inserts to fit perfectly? Do you have another larger template that accounts for the loss of router piece width?
hello.
Do you use the Large Pull 38 or 48 mm tool?
