    RV's use regular PEX plumbing which is the exact same thing that most homes are plumbed with. Before PEX RV's were plumbed with grey poly pipe, also the same exact plumbing that was used in houses.

    Newbie question. Do you need a surge protector owhen your hooked up to your inverter generator?

    • @GratefulGlamper
      @GratefulGlamper  3 года назад +1

      Not when you are on Generator power, just when hooked up to shore power (Campground power).

  • @KevinCoop1
    @KevinCoop1 3 года назад

    Question for you. How many times have you replaced your surge protector? How many times have you found the pedestal receptacle was incorrect?
    Enjoyed the do not do with the slinky!

    • @GratefulGlamper
      @GratefulGlamper  3 года назад

      We haven’t replaced the surge protector yet as we’ve only had it for a year. However, they say you should replace them every 3-5 years. We have a progressive industries surge protector that has a lifetime guarantee. I’ve found the polarity to be off so far on 2 receptacles so far. Thanks for watching!

    • @KevinCoop1
      @KevinCoop1 3 года назад +1

      @@GratefulGlamper Your suppressor has an indication on it that tells you that the MOV has met end of life. Could not find from the literature what the indication is but best guess is the green LED. No green, no suppression. It also has a lifetime warranty! So, you have not had enough surges to end the MOV’s life yet. I did some research and found that reverse polarity may not be the parks receptacle being wired incorrectly. It can be caused by someone else’s RV being wired wrong and plugged in. Interesting! Respectfully, Kevin

    I enjoy watching you guys. I prefer the actual traveling and exploring videos.. But all in all you guys are fun to watch.
    I just wanted to correct one of your tips. Water piping. The water piping in most newer rvs is pex, pex is installed in houses, apartments, commercial facilities etc. We test pex up to 135psi. And newer houses still have copper piping. I prefer copper Over all other domestic water piping systems. If you have higher water pressure in your RV you don't have to worry about bursting a line or a fitting, you might roll a gasket or damage a seat in the fixtures (bath / kitchen faucet, shower valve ect). But that will just be an annoying drip when hooked up to city pressure..
    The end was hilarious! Loved the eating out of the hose!!
    I'm looking forward to watching your new videos.! .

    I’m confused. The very first video I watched of yours was you moving to Florida. But then there were a whole mess of travel videos after that? Did you leave Florida or is it just back videos you’re editing and putting out?

      @@GratefulGlamper Well I know your daughters name is Trinity. So I’m assuming you’re Christians? I am also going to be traveling in an RV like I told you but moving to Florida. Have you started to go to church in Florida yet? What has that experience been like if you have.

      @@GratefulGlamper Great to know! I wanted to find out what your denomination was before I gave you information. 😂 You know I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not. But the Lord is calling Christians to move to Florida. I know He has been talking to me about it for the last few years. So I’m praying and trying to figure out how to make the move. Also what part of Florida? I do believe it is the Cocoa Beach/Melbourne area there where I’m supposed to go?
      I am a married wife and my husband‘s work is all in the very tip of South Carolina. God hasn’t told him to move so... I don’t want to say he does not not believe me because he does. But it’s not as simple as it would be if we were both being told. Or if he being the man was being told. You know what I’m saying. But there’s not huge problems. I see the Lord making a way for us to get down there. In the interim I’m going to start going down once a month for like four days at a time. My husband is a good husband and he has no problems with that whatsoever. So I’m going to go down and just start to figure out what we might be able to do??? If it is the right place what’s going on???? Start to at least collect the Intel.
