I live in the Caribe, maybe the sunscreen is still good and the oil for the dry skin, but I feel they stole one of my full size, so I need to wait to the box.
I dont like getting sunscreen at all because it contains an expiration and I do not like getting products I have to worry about because the amount of overstock I have is ridiculous
I was literally holding that elf sunscreen in my hand from Ipsy as you showed this haha My theory is they know people don’t buy it as much in the winter, so they try to clear out inventory so it doesn’t go bad.
Yeah what’s with all the sunscreen in the winter boxes?!😅 the elf is in Ipsy too, I got it in my Ipsy bag, it’s actually a really nice sunscreen! I’ve always been curious about that cover girl lippie!
When I see a sunscreen in a winter box, it's like they're thumbing their nose at those of us who live in the frozen north and can't afford vacations. A shimmering body oil is actually worse LOL. Even if we wear sunscreen in the winter up here, we're not walking around showing off our shimmering bodies. 😅😅😅 Thanks for the great info and thoughts as always!

Hi SHER, OK. I think I have the answer as to why we are getting items that seem like summer products. At first I thought the sunscreen was perhaps if your skiing and in the snow--you can get very sunburn, but actually I remembered something from my years ago in the fashion industry. The last season of the year is kind of two seasons in one. HOLIDAY/CRUISE OR RESORT. So while they are sending all the sparkly Christmas and New Year stuff at the end of the year, they are also sending all these bathing suits, Cover ups, lounge wear, etc... This is the season (if you can afford it) people want a tropical vacation in St Barts, Barbados, a Carribean cruise? The most expensive time of the year to take this type of trip. So the sunscreen, the shimmery body oil makes more sense?
Ohhh yes that does make a lot of sense. The holidays are always big travel times & sometimes people get away to tropical vacations then. That is a great point!

Ots really the only ti.e of the year that's promoted. If they are going to promote Cruise season the whole bag should reflect that maybe in January and people are starting to get tired of the cold. They charged my card a few days ago so I am hoping to get my box next week. I REALLY want the lip stain. I already own a few shades that I use all of the time. I need to replace my favorite red shade but I will wait to get my box. I wonder if the body oil will be a full size or a deluxe sample? Hope you had a great Thanksgiving day. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m not sure on the size of the shimmer oil. They don’t tend to share the sizes always. And with the Walmart box, they don’t guarantee us a certain number of deluxe versus full size etc. it’s usually a mix. But I’m with you on the lip stain. Hope to get it! :)
This is a horrible box for me and I am hugely disappointed. A whole box of skin crap and a very drying lip stain. Dry lips in winter so send a drying stain? Why not the updated Revlon Glass Shine? It’s moisturizing, and doesn’t stain the lips in case the color doesn’t work out for you. But that would make too much sense.
lol you always get all worried about what contouring tools look like its funny lol its a southern thing i know this trust me remember im from perry lol i have 2 kids that live in perry now lol i get it i really do my entire paternal family is from perry lol it made dating hard lol when half the town are your relatives lol. i would have to make guys tell me their entire family tree before id go out with them lol i had an old lady run up to me one day shouting my name asking me if i was my daddy's kid and i was baffled then she said she had not seen me since i was knee hi to a grasshopper and i remember thinking how in the hell did she even recognize me lol i think she said she was my great aunt or something my grand mamas aunt or sister or cousin or something like that lol weird times lol im in oregon now though dont miss perry at all just my sons long story lol

@SherSharesBeauty I scratched my foot..and it was ashy 🤣 I live in Texas. It's getting colder now. Today has been the coldest day so far going into winter. That's why my foot was ashy, it wasn't yesterday, but today it was ashy 🤣
