I've been a Cowboy since 1977, 7 years old; and I wept over LA passing. He reminded me of a time when my life wasn't very stable but I could watch the Cowboys and escape all my problems watching them play. Rest in Peace. LA. 😥
my uncle was my best friend and he always talked about larry allen. made me watch his old vhs tapes of games they played back then when i was playing.. a goat player truly.
When skip is actually tapping into this part of his journalism talents he’s a pleasure to watch. The offensive line coach story is good journalism and story telling. Wish he did this more often. F the trendy stuff.
I Agree, People can say what they say about Skip Bayless but his Unwavering support, Recognition, and Respect of the Black American athlete and to a smaller extent Black American culture cannot be denied and cannot be underestimated, Skip is invited to the BBQ anytime, anywhere and the Man is a Genius and Deserves his Flowers while he’s here.
As a devoted Washington fan, I have the deepest respect for Larry Allen. A super intimidating player to go against 2-3 times a year. Crazy to lose him so soon. A true loss.
My father was Ralph Neely who was #73 LT before Larry. and passed away in 2022. There seems to be some type of magical GREATNESS that wears this number. #73 will go down in history as the very BEST of the BEST! I am sadden to hear of his loss. There will never be another. You just cant duplicate GREAT.
Skip: I was there when Larry was born. In fact, I was in the stands when his father played PeeWee football as well. We knew each other like family. Peas and carrots 🥕 😭 RIP fr Larry tho 👊🏽
I ran into Terry Glenn at the grocery store in Irving, just a few days before he passed away. I saw him as I was leaving and he was coming in. He spoke to me with familiarly so, I thought we knew each other. As I walking to the car I was trying to think how we know each other, then it clicked.
I can say with my chest out, there are not bigger cowboy fans then myself. Fell in love with them in 1983. First game u ever saw after coming to this country. We played the redskins and got out a"* handed to us, but fell in love with the star. Became obsessed with not only the cowboys, but the NFL in general. Saw as many games as were televised and been to many cowboys/ giants games. I can say with certainty, greatest offensive lineman ever saw and make NO MISTAKE, though emmitt ran more up middle in the I and to the left side, Larry had olot to do with em smiths success. Without a diubt
You will be missed , BIG. Had a great attitude. Your attitude was all done on the field. Didn't need to talk the talk. You walked the walk. Rip, baby.. Larry Allen greatest to ever do it. Point blank
"I can say with my chest out, there are not bigger cowboy fans then myself".......says every Cowboys fan....lol. I say the same, season ticket holder, haven't missed a game in 35 years...
Yep gotta appreciate athletes like Larry Allen, Hakeem Olujawon, Tim Duncan, Kawhi, & now Jokic. They just want to do their job, & stay away from "Hollyweirdo" BS & EXCEL in their profession.
Thank you Larry A For the time u gave Troy A. For the time to make a pass and the path way for E Smith to break to open Feild to score or make the next set of downs. Larry is and the best lineman EVER to play the game. sit back and think cowboys in the 90s without Larry there will be no dynasty
The dude was CRAZY Good !! Big up to LA the great LA . Easily in the top 3-5 depending on how you scale him but to me top 3 and I’m a Niner Fan however I acknowledge and recognize game .. RIP Big Homie LA!!
The best offensive lineman of all time! The strongest NFL player ever! Larry, Jay Novachek, Billy Bates, and Michael Irvin were super heroes to me as a kid. R.I.P Big Larry
I'm a die hard eagles fan but I was an offensive lineman in high school and college I always tried to emulate Larry what a legend and actually a great person.

I'm a "Die-hate Cowboys guy. But Larry Allen was the truth. No one was greater at that position. Much respect to him and condolences to his family . Rest in peace great one
Larry Allen was more than just the greatest offensive linemen of all time. He was a class act and brought respect to a very ugly team at the time. The combination of Troy, Emmitt, Larry Allen and flozell Adam’s brought respect to an organization that didn’t deserve it. I have nothing but admiration and respect for those players. On and off the field. Emmit was my idol growing up..
Man i just now heard of this and he was my favorite cowboy of all time. What a legend of a man. My thoughts are with his family. Thats a tough loss for the world.

Larry Allen and Anthony Muñoz, best offensive linemen I ever saw playing.

The greatest guard of all time. Definitely will be on the top 5 starting offensive lineman on moat coaches teams
He was named to the Top 100 Team in 2020!

Compton strength? Is that a joke? An abysmal failure of a community rife with drugs, violence, and degeneracy....completely responsible by blk men.

I’m the words of John Madden……”if I was starting a team, I’d start with 73 White”………The size, power, speed & foot work…..Best guard I’ve ever seen.
It’s moments like this that make me comeback to watch skip, he acts like an asshole but deep down he’s a solid dude
A very SOLID DUDE!✊🏿
Facts. He is solid when it comes to things like this.
Only reason I’m watching is because of how Skip waxes nostalgic about those 90s cowboys teams. He captures that time perfectly
