I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Nettles about 12 years ago in a club in Atlanta. She is truly a treasure and has the voice of a angle but she’s also so sweet and genuine and she stay at our table and talk for 5 minutes or so during a break. Proud that she’s from my home state of Georgia.

O Holy Night is the most perfect Christmas song of all time, but the perfect version is elusive. Celine Dion does a good rendition, but when I came across this version I was blown away. For me, the song hinges on the line, "Fall on your knees...". The listener shouldn't be kindly asked, passively requested, or gently persuaded. In the presence of God, we would be commanded...with POWER, and Jennifer gets that point across beautifully. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise though, being that she's an angel on earth. Amazing talent.

I lost my granddaughter to drugs years ago. Beautiful girl, smart as a whip, got hooked, OD'd at 22. Everytime I hear this song, brings her back, and I tear up...I'll see her again, in the near future, and she'll be the beautiful I remember, drug free and hurting no longer.

Goosebumps and all the feelings up and down my spine, it’s beautiful to hearJennifer’s voice (I grew up not to far from her in Georgia, USA 🇺🇸 as well) but it’s truly amazing and glorious when you can see that Jennifer’s also rejoicing as she sings!!!! Just soul touching and breathtaking!!!

O Holy Night is the most perfect Christmas song of all time, but the perfect version is elusive. Celine Dion does a good rendition, but when I came across this version I was blown away. For me, the song hinges on the line, "Fall on your knees...". The listener shouldn't be kindly asked, passively requested, or gently persuaded. In the presence of God, we would be commanded...with POWER, and Jennifer gets that point across beautifully. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise though, being that she's an angel on earth. Amazing talent.
Yes!!! It’s always been about that line for me. You’ve said it accurately. The rest of the song will have greater impact if the listener feels compelled to drop to their knees. So many singers miss that. I could feel it with her .

I lost my granddaughter to drugs years ago. Beautiful girl, smart as a whip, got hooked, OD'd at 22. Everytime I hear this song, brings her back, and I tear up...I'll see her again, in the near future, and she'll be the beautiful I remember, drug free and hurting no longer.
