Crazy video, you finally did it! Loved the voiceover commentary for this type of long battle. I'm not sure if you've heard of the Pacman Maze sidequest in Mirage? This dungeon features enemies that are also immune to damage when summoned, and there are FOUR of them. You could potentially pair 3 of these up against Titan's Trident to see if they'd beat him faster than Malistaire. Reasonably they should be able to. One of these Ghosts in this dungeon even has a 1000 damage Efreet! One of these enemies are also life, but unfortunately they lack any heals, so there's still no chance you'd get healed during the battle and be able to get credit at the end.

Malistaire actually does have a set amount of resist, the wiki is just wrong. I believe he has about 200%, so no boss can pierce it easily without crazy buffs like shrike and pierceblades Edit: According to dataminers he has 300,000 resist LMAO

I read about it when it came out on the website, but I don’t see the link that talks about the lore of the magic anymore. Would love to play the game again and get Shadow Magic if possible.
Late response, but Shadow spells come online around Lv. 95 (at the end of Arc 2, which began with Celestia). They're still in the game and fully functional. Later class/school spells require Shadow pips to offset their low mana cost.

Rank 13 Malistaire the Undying is a carbon copy of his boss fight. I think KI needs to remove all these TCs and fix it so that: (1) You have to do actual damage to an enemy to extract animus from them so Malistaire the Undying in Xilbalba can't have animus extracted so no more of those minions or... (2) They fix the minion so that pierce actually works on him. I mean seriously, I could just extract animus from Xilbalba Malistaire and make 20 of those TCs and just spam them in my spell quests and the bosses wouldn't kill me because they'd be banging their heads against these three immortal liches. XD
Yea but considering the amount of time it would take for you to farm enough monstrology off of these bosses don’t you think you deserve to have 1 OP treasure card?
@@GW2Caleb remember he has 200 outgoing damage and can bugs raging bull, snowball barage nested and more and he had 70% resist accross the board with 90% shadow resist
