Also Cob caught it and I'm only in Avalon story wise and I don't know much about Cob but does that show that Cob also knows Cabal Magic or whatever its called? And maybe during the end of Arc 3 the boss uses Cabal Magic (or whatever it's called) and shadow magic? After all Kingsisle does have a habit of releasing new magic close to arc endings with the exception of star, moon, and sun which might just be because they couldn't wedge it into Dragonsphere. (Mind my spelling it's horrid I know).
Landon King Jr then pierce stack, shatter before hitting, shrike, dispel the cheats. Instead of this they'll probably have them use cheats and spells more cleverly. As it is bosses are not hard getting the drops is hard.

Regardless, I doubt he even cared much at all about this specific battle, otherwise he would've just gotten everything over and done with before we got the chance to do anything.
My theory is at the end of this arc it's gonna be old cob vs grandmother raven, and the newer world will be like ravenscar; and I'm thinking the final level cap will be 150, if there's a new school maybe we can make new characters if you're up to this point and pick the new school and start off level 1 at arcanum and a whole new quest line from there, so maybe a dark vs light school kinda thing
