the amount of struggle I had with this boss... i defeated him and ported out without collecting the eye of history. i couldn't port back in, and i had to do it again. literal tears came out of my eyes it was horrible. never again....

40:03 ish the full thing is from 40:01 to 40:05 when Cob catches it. Trust me use settings then speed at like 0.25 if you really want a close look. Also Cob caught it and I'm only in Avalon story wise and I don't know much about Cob but does that show that Cob also knows Cabal Magic or whatever its called? And maybe during the end of Arc 3 the boss uses Cabal Magic (or whatever it's called) and shadow magic? After all Kingsisle does have a habit of releasing new magic close to arc endings with the exception of star, moon, and sun which might just be because they couldn't wedge it into Dragonsphere. (Mind my spelling it's horrid I know).

Landon King Jr then pierce stack, shatter before hitting, shrike, dispel the cheats. Instead of this they'll probably have them use cheats and spells more cleverly. As it is bosses are not hard getting the drops is hard.
You can also tell KI wants to do something completely different with bosses since they added that who's first cheat.
"God" title doesn't mean much, you have to remember that Zeus once had that title, and at the point we are right now, we could probably defeat him _and_ his brothers effortlessly. Regardless, I doubt he even cared much at all about this specific battle, otherwise he would've just gotten everything over and done with before we got the chance to do anything.

My theory is at the end of this arc it's gonna be old cob vs grandmother raven, and the newer world will be like ravenscar; and I'm thinking the final level cap will be 150, if there's a new school maybe we can make new characters if you're up to this point and pick the new school and start off level 1 at arcanum and a whole new quest line from there, so maybe a dark vs light school kinda thing
Leftover Nacs ooh that interesting Dark vs Light school, however Cabal is Confirmed from Mirage at the beginning of the storyline and maybe we will learn Cabal at lvl 130 like shadow magic: lvl 95

I managed to solo all boss but GS in mirage on my storm. Shadowwock was very difficult bc everything has to go perfect or your dead you need to survive 2 meteors at least to power up enough and hit right on meteor round
I had more trouble with the shaddowwock than spider lol
i am seeing this in 2020 and i play this game and everything looks soooo much different now days then back then haha! XD

(that was part of the reason we went to mirage, we talk to merle about his eye after polaris) and "we have like 3 bosses left" after the first fight (old cob said there's 3 fights and then himself) he just talks to be talking sometimes.
