Hello, Anshuman, Recently i came across two interesting offroad self recovery tools. One is the "Dead man anchor" and the other is " Pull pal anchor". Both of them seem quite purposive and useful in solo off roading situations. Both of these are to be used with winches though and are a bit expensive. Have you ever considered using any of these during your off road sessions ? If you have, your comments and views regarding its utility would be highly appreciated.
I doubt if they would work in such soft sand. Other things such offroading can never be done going solo, you need atleast 3-4 cars with experienced drivers for such places.

amazing content anshumanji , very well shot !! it Reminds of the Dubai Dessert safari. i had a question Anshumanji , i have heard that the petrol Thar has a small torue band , so as you accelerate to get some momentum it loses the torque as the rpm goes higher . some offroaders told me that coz of this reason the petrol Thar loses the pulling power on very steep n long hill climbs . where as the diesel thar maintaina a good amount of torque along with the speed . is that true , have you ever felt that .
Thar Petrol has very wide power band, the peak torque comes at 1200rpm(for manual) and the engine does not lose power all the way till redline. The information you had about narrow powerband is incorrect.
@@Anshyuman & whats the mileage of the petrol thar during these Dune bashing sessions ? am sorry to ask you so many questions actually the thing is i have booked the diesel thar & am on a long wailist , where as the petrol is available in 20 days. also i have got double minded after hearing alot about diesel thars Dpf issues and also the problems dpf gives in colder regions like ladakh . so i am seriously contemplating between petrol n diesel . as u have said that the petrol is equally good off road now the second and the only factor remaining is the mileage . i know the onroad mileage of both but could you plz tell me the offroad mileage of both . i believe while offroading the petrol must be gulping down fuel like crazy compared to the diesel ?

Both Petrol and Diesel have similar low and midrange torque, Petrol has extra 1000 revs on top end over Diesel.
