This was so much fun! I'm sure you feel this same way but I was looking back at my older videos and my video quality and editing style has improved so much! You should be proud of everything you've put out to share so far! I remember doing an upcoming releases video at the beginning of the year. I need to look back and "check-in" with myself and see what I read and what I didn't. This was a fun way to reflect! I'm reading Magnolia parks this summer so I will keep you posted! I've heard it's very much Gossip Girl but in London!
Yes! Looking back is so funny honestly (in the best way) can just tell we are more comfortable now too which I love. I hope you are too! I love getting to see your vids so that check in would be very fun!! and yes please keep me posted because I do love gossip girl so I'm excited to see what you think!
I agree in regards reading moods, it plays a lot into my reading choices . You are much more organised and systematic than me especially with your seasonal reads . I've always kind of felt books find me , more intuit if a book is for me or not . I am currently reading Tales from Angria by Charlotte Bronte and am loving it but I do like her books
@@frithkin haha I am trying to let go of my extreme planning ways and I love that it’s more intuitive for you! I feel that way about reading women who run with the wolves by Clarissa pinkola estes, I only pick it up when it feels right. I’ll have to check out Tales from Angria!
I really love how you organized your priority reads between the seasons... i may have to steal this idea next year!!! Wuthering Heights is something that i have been thinking about a lot lately and i think i need to get it and read it soon!! Also your thoughts on magnolia parks is exactly the way i think too and i dont think i will get to those!! Also i read once upon a broken heart without reading the carval series and it was perfectly fine!!! Technically i did read them on audio but i did not pay attention to them and i remember nothing haha.
hahahaha I love that, maybee I will read OUABH first then, I need to live a little 😂 but thank you!! and I was soo ready to read Wuthering Heights but then my friend warned me that it was such an angry book and I was oookay I need to be in the right mood for that lol
@@Sullsworld for sure!! i started rebecca by daphne de maurier but had to put it up cuz i was not in the mood for it either!!! i want to get to it. I always feel like these more "intimidating books" end up being 5 stars for me but only when I am in the mood for them!!
@@shelbysreading I’m excited to see your thoughts when you do finish it! I haven’t heard much about it but I completely agree the intimidating books can’t be rushed but definitely seem to turn out to be amazing experiences :)
I have not heard of many of these books and have made a tbr list Thank you !
@@frithkin I hope you enjoy them!!
