Awww I hope Peach is all good now! I've heard so much hype about mile high, I feel like you've convinced me not to pick it up though 🙈 It was so fun listening to you talk to magnolia parks!! I had no idea the audio books were so good, now I wana reread them by listening to them!
@@DEBateBookz yes she is so much better :) but hahaha ya from everything I have seen I wish I would’ve skipped the first one. And yes listening to them I swear is a must!! I hope you love them if you do. I feel like I need the beautiful physical books now though 😂
That’s for giving an update on Peach - it’s great to hear she had good care and a quick recovery 🤍 making a book club sounds fun!! I wish I could join but I feel like I wouldn’t be able to keep up. I hope you find one, though!
@@J.me. I am very happy she had that too :) and haha yes!! I wouldn’t want there to be any pressure though, just read what you want when you can 😊 thank you!
honestly, i HATED Mile High because the male lead was so despicable to me like i couldn't like him even if i tried, BUT even though i literally despised and DNFed Mile High, the second book in the series The Right Move is actually one of my favourite romances, maybe EVER! so i do recommend continuing at least to the second one if you feel game for it (pun intended!) 😝
@@love.lauren... he was such a let down!! I just wanted to know more about his friend the whole time. always love a pun though 😂😂 you have definitely convinced me to continue!
glad peach is feeling better ❤️ I recently read the fellowship of the ring and really enjoyed it, going to read the two towers soon! I skipped the hobbit and was planning to read it last, haha. not sure why but I’ve seen all the films so it’s no brand new to me which I think does help. I loved tolkien’s writing style, especially how he writes dialogue. also, I’d love to be in a book club although my timezone is the worst 😂
@@readbyjordyn thank you!! And ooh excited to see your reviews for them. But that is fair for the hobbit, it was all new to me so I was having the best time haha. And also very good to know!! And right?? This would be so fun! What is your time zone?? I feel like mine is not great either 😂
@@Sullsworldmine is +13 GMT, but the total opposite to europe so that makes it the worst 😂
@ okay fair 😂😂 I feel like am stuck in the middle and know no one close to mine as well haha
I just finished Fangs For Nothing as found it a fun read. This is my first time reading this author and I’m looking forward to reading more of her books. I have Magnolia Parks in my TBR pile, I’m excited to get to it now. Thanks for sharing.
@@kimgardner2080 it was for me too and I am as well!! Glad you enjoyed it and am very excited for you to experience magnolia parks, the audio book was such a wild ride! I need to pick up the physical book. Thanks for being here :)
I am glad that Peach is feeling better, Thank you for all of your links and reviews also. I also really loved your review of time war, such a great explication of the book. thank you. It was one of very few books that really blew my mind in the best way. I am not currently in any Fable book clubs.
@@frithkin me too!! And anytime, thank you for being here :) Hope you’re doing well! That means a lot cause it also blew my mind too haha. And I was curious if you were because there are lots but I am only in a couple that I enjoy or where I know someone so I was hoping to find more! If more come up I’ll have to share them here :)
@Sullsworld the only other book that I can think of that even comes close to Time War was Changing Planes by Ursula K Le Guin. It is sci fi, a collection of short stories written in the style of a travel guide but as opposed to countries it describes visits to different dimensions. I think maybe the most original book I have ever read in terms of concept and perspective.
@ wow that sounds so cool! I’ll have to add it to my TBR thank you!! :)
@@Sullsworld You are welcome, I dont think I mentioned all of the stories in Changing Planes are very short too, so if one of them isn't working for you, the next one may be more of your kinda thing.
@ that is actually perfect! Haha haven’t read short stories in a while
Aw glad she is feeling better ❤ I am from Denmark and I never understood why some danes think that “hygge” is a word that only exist in danish. It means cozy and I think a lot of languages and cultures have that word, right? It is just weird 😅😅
@@Nanna_reader thank you ❤️ and ya for sure!! I was hoping the book might distinguish the differences haha
After finishing The Chesnut Spring series, I wanted to know Violet’s story so I read A Photo Finish and skipped Off To The Races. But even while reading about them in the second book, I could tell they were both annoying. So I don’t think I am going to go back and read it… I think I am just going to go read the Veterinarians story next 😂😂. Thank you for confirming my suspicions..
@@StorieswithNessa hahaha yes definitely skip it!! Excited to know which one of hers ends up being your fav :)
The song of achilles was a really great audiobook but yes, sad.... I have to try Elsie Silver soon. Her books looks so good!!! I had to dnf This is how you loose the time war, I was just too confused 😉😉 Congratulations with more than 500 subscribers!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Yesss I hope you love it!! The second and fourth book in her chestnut springs series are my favourite!! and honestly that is very fair. I absolutely loved this is how you lose the time war but the writing style is pretty abstract. and thank you thank you!! :)
Nice Video greeting from Switzerland
@@RonsonKR hello and thank you!!
I am reading The fake Mate and not sure I love it yet… 😅
@@StorieswithNessa oh no 😬 hopefully it turns around it is so hyped up!
Manacled sounds really interesting 😊 havn’t heard about these fanfictions 😊 But I am up for some different kind of views in some of my favourite series 😊
@@Nanna_reader definitely a fun way to get back into fictional worlds you love! Manacled is dark so far but very good :) hope you enjoy!!
love the AO3 love in this!! I actually have Manacled all downloaded on my Kobo ereader but i have yet to start it, i was never even a big harry potter girl at ALL but i did admittedly read some Dramoine fanfic as a teen so after hearing everyone talk about it I kind of got interested 👀👀👀 cannot WAIT to hear your eventual thoughts on One For My Enemy! 🥰 also your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
@@love.lauren... hahaha same here actually!! And I’m excited to see where it goes and yours as well :) thank you so much!! 🩵
Such a cool topic that’s not talked about enough! Thanks for sharing 🤍
@@J.me. thanks Jamie ☺️
ashes made me cry, i was so invested in the characters haha. the first in the next duology (third in the series) is out Nov 19! then there is also a novella called six scorched roses which is available and not required to read before ashes (i read it after) but i’d recommend it if you can manage. it doesn’t affect your understanding of ashes at all but it’s a back story for two new characters in ashes which is soo cute. very much looking forward to seeing what you think of MP2. i loved MP1 and DH1, but then, well, i’ll wait to see what you think 😂
@@readbyjordyn hahaha this is so helpful, every time I tried to figure out the order of this series I was nervous I’d spoil something!! I also really loved the characters so I’m a little nervous now too, haven’t had a book make me cry in soo long. And oh god… now I’m worried for this next magnolia parks book 🫣
I need to finish the serpent and the wings of night, I parked it because I was gonna make a video and never did 😂 so hoping to finish that soon then I’d defo be up for buddy reading the ashes and the star cursed king 🥰
@@DEBateBookz hahaha ooh okay I’d love that!! I look forward to your thoughts on the serpent and the wings of night too :)
You made it back to that spot with the panoramic views. Nice !

i recently read hamnet, which was gorgeous and made me cry! very somber and made me think a lot about how we remember our loved ones as the world moves on.
@@readbyjordyn ooh this is on my physical tbr! I’ll have to get to it soon.
I love this tag and I'm so glad you ended up doing this one! I also look at the endings sometimes too! It really helps get rid of that FOMO feeling. I also sometimes just look up the whole plot summary on wikipedia if I can't decide if I want to read a book and sometimes that's enough for me and I can get rid of the book, haha. I love that idea of your family seeing your annotations if they were to outlive you. I also didn't LOVE The Midnight Library. I thought it was just "okay" and didn't really see the hype. Great job with this tag and I really enjoyed hearing your answers. :)
@@bookstalgic Aah thank you!! Haha that makes me feel better about doing it and also love the idea of looking at the whole plot summary to check too. Hahaha me too honestly made even think differently about that part of reading too. Also very glad someone agrees about the midnight library!! Haha thank you thank you! :)
I’m obsessed with your dresser in the background, soooo cute 🥰 I think 3300 books is amazing but also I feel like no number sounds like enough! If anyone can live to 100 I’m sure you can 🤣
@@DEBateBookz hahaha aw thanks Deb!! And ya I’d have to agree :) and 😂 let’s hope we all do!
❤️
that number of books feels insane but also makes sense at the same time
@@brittanyrosereads hahaha ya hard to wrap my head around!
It only really occurred to me now that I watched this video, but, Kit McBride gets a wife mentions death in that a number of Kits siblings and his mother all died due to an illness of some kind that was prevalent in America in the 1870"s.
@@frithkin oh I’m surprised that is in that book! But definitely adds another layer of interest to it :)
@@Sullsworld its part of the back story of some of the characters ( like Kit) , there is a real theme of sadness to the book, even more so ( I feel at least) in the second book (which I have just started reading) but also a theme of not being afraid to reach for happiness too.
@@frithkin ooh soo good to know! I’m looking forward to this coming through at my library!
@@Sullsworld Interestingly a number of the reviews I have read only mentioned that it was very funny because of the schemes of Kit's sister June bug, so perhaps the sadness in the book resonated with me more so than other readers ?
@@frithkin haha oh, well maybe but I do feel like it’s overlooked a lot in romance!
Very interesting Video,. Thank you for sharing.
@@frithkin thank you!!
Haha, the side eye for the last one 😂

I love all those beautiful cats that you get to enjoy as well. :-) That is wonderful that you are able to learn the language at no cost and best of luck with that as I know it’s not always the easiest! I am glad you mentioned that about the audio for the book Hooked, as I have that book so I will definitely avoid the audio when I get to it lol. Ooh boy howdy, but your description of searching for something in a book finding it hard to define that specifically but knowing that you'll just intuitively know it when you find ( and read it) but nothing your reading is quite it so gotta keep looking I feel that . I found that the Song of Achilles to me was quite a sense read . It felt a bit laborious. Your comments about Poetry I feel the same. I still really love Emily Bronte's poetry, very maudlin and sad. Krishna Murthi, love it. Nice cover for Fangs for Nothing. Thanks for the recommendations. I think you can do it. I believe in you!! Personally I would recommend reading How to lose the time war first. A short novella , first time reading sci fi too.
@@frithkin haha I’m glad someone can relate to that! You put it into words much better than me! And I think that is maybe why I am not picking of the song of Achilles though. And ooh okay I’ll have to look into hers I want to expand more into poetry so thank you :) No problem!! And thank you! You’re right though I think I need to pick that one up next and see what it’s like.
@@SullsworldYou are very welcome 👍. When I first started reading poetry, ( when I was eleven or twelve I think ? ) A lot of the poetry I really loved was stuff like Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Bronte, Emily Dickinson, Byron, and Percy Byshe Shelley, John Keats stuff like that. Especially Emily Bronte be ause it's do moody and sad.
@@frithkin ah thank you!! This is amazing list :)
