Very nice stage of the maples. I have found that for me it's the long term fun that makes me get excited. I have huge trees that just need to be maintained but the little guys are the ones that I have fun tending to, grooming them and preparing them for the future. I'm so excited to see these in the future. Thanks for the info.

Why would people who love Bonsai call it material?

Very nice maples. I agree it’s a Great idea to start with the older plants, there is more chance of ending up with a bonsai quite quickly. Great videos. 👍 Greetings from UK.

I got a smaller maple because i think a bigger bonsai means more care it requires

So we need to wait 5, 7 or 10 years before we can even start to.bonsai a maple tree ? It might be smart to start young and with at leasr 1000 seeds of your favorite kinds of maples. It gonna need some serious patience 😟
