What dissapoints me the most is how they just turned a 180 degree of her character. The izzie from season 1-5 are the selfless strong person that learned from her mistakes. The izzie that left her own husband and just turned her back on her friends is just so ourlt of character.
I’msippin Teainyohood ok but u shouldn’t leave th ya as an excuse. she hurt alex and left him in countless debt and yes he told her to go bsck and never go back because he deserved more. it also was wrong of her to leave and judge alex and make it look more like alex was the one who made her get fired when he wasn’t. he was concerned and it was charles fault. don’t get me wrong i loved him but she didn’t give alex the benifit of the doubt. i miss the old her. and using her past as an excuse? mer’s husband died, her bestfriend (george) even tho izzie did to, she drowned and almost died, her person left, her second person left AGAIN for izzie who left 10 years ago. yes it may seem easy to leave everyone but she just had terrible character development.

I'm just so mad abut how they did her character wrong. From the end of season3 to Half of season 4, she made me so mad. Her anger and superiority towards Callie made no sense, not to mention that ridiculous one week long relationship with George that was just useless. Then season 5 Izzie was back to the good old Izzie we'd come to know, and love from previous seasons, but season 6 was just completely out of character. She stuck by Alex when everyone hated him, she saw the good in him, overlooked his many mood swings, and was always one to stick by everyone even if she was the one going off the rails. Her turning her back on him, and blaming him for her getting fired makes ZERO sense. I would have honestly preferred it if they had killed her off, at least we would have had a decent ending, rather than a butchering of character.
Say what you want, Izzie was one of the most dynamic characters on the show and the way she was written off way so criminal. Obviously circumstances occurred with Shonda and Katherine but, it’s just really unfortunate that nothing could be resolved. Because the audience deserved a better resolution to Izzie Stevens and we’re still waiting even after that “ending” with Alex.

Izzie is my most fav on the show. She was the most selfless person with the hardest childhood among the 5 of them. She actually cared about others. This may be unpopular opinion but I think Meredith was too self-centered, christina was downright selfish, alex was a jerk and George was too soft(4th fav). When it comes to izzie no one cares about her. Only time I was angry at Izzie was when she interfered too much in George-Callie marraige and slept with George. That's not the real Izzie. I think the writers were too much focused on Meredith and Crhistina and didn’t know what to do with her character so they gave her crappy storyline. She deserved so much better.
I hope so too.. I stopped watching the show after S6 ep 6 when she gets fired but would most certainly start again if she does return...at least a guest appearance....let's just hope she does make one

Izzie! I need my Isobel back.
Izzie is my most fav on the show. She was the most selfless person with the hardest childhood among the 5 of them. She actually cared about others. This may be unpopular opinion but I think Meredith was too self-centered, christina was downright selfish, alex was a jerk and George was too soft(4th fav). When it comes to izzie no one cares about her. Only time I was angry at Izzie was when she interfered too much in George-Callie marraige and slept with George. That's not the real Izzie. I think the writers were too much focused on Meredith and Crhistina and didn’t know what to do with her character so they gave her crappy storyline. She deserved so much better.
