Karev was the bimbo who killed Derek's patient by giving him the wrond dose and in that hospital all the doctors broke the law and did worst than Izzie. He specifically told her that one of the reasons that she was fired was because her husband had questions about her emotional stability. She shows she cares love them not just izzie, like when Izzie wanted to have a thanksgiving or Christmas Mer and Cristina doesn't want it yet they still did because they love izzie. Or when Dennie died they were there, Cristina is the one who managed the doctors for izee when she had her cancer. She is the one who's pushing izzie, Cristina wanted izzie to fight. Cristina was there with izze every step of the way up until to the point where izzie was about to die. Mer is somehow like Cristina in showing her love for izzie, but she is not that subtle like cristina do. Alex and george are showy when it comes to this. They loved each other, like real siblings do.
This scene and her last scene (from her final episode) where she yells at Alex saying he got her fired because he expressed concern over how the Seattle Grace Mercy West Merger was pushing and stressing Izzy .. Alex was not why the professional victim (Izzy) was fired. Izzy being stupid and screwing up a kidney patient dialysis damn near killing the patient and ruining the planned kidney transplant. Izzy got herself fired though she never ever admits it. She even says she cant forgive Alex for costing her her job. So ⬆️that⬆️ and this scene where she takes over Meredith's wedding (that speech about it being mers day was ironic since she was taking mers day over by faking cardiac arrest &playing the cancer card that's just disgusting and only adds fuel to the fire. I'm glad Alex told her he can't forgive her either, too bad she doesn't get to see Alex and Jo! So no she sucks and is so annoying especially in this scene I wish they would have killed her hippocratic ass off.
