I loved every minute of this. Emmaus seems like such a lovable guy. Blessings brother. If you ever need a second shooter in San Diego, I’d be honored to serve you.
Emmaus gear for weddings : Part 1 - Drone / Tripods / Gimbal : 1:24 - 3:29 Part 2 - Cameras / Sound / Lights : 5:13 - 9:53 Thanks for this excellent job shadow, each and every second of this video is useful, there are so many good advices in there I can't even count them !
I have my first wedding to film in Sept of this year and I have been watching hours and hours of videos to get an idea of what to expect.... NONE have compared to this video right here! His style is exactly what I will use as a guideline for my future films. AWESOME video!!!!
Starting my first ever wedding referred to me by a friend of mine. This video totally built my confidence and had me feeling like I could say I shot a wedding before!!
Emmaus is the man! I've watched this probably 6 times now for reference on equipment and general tips. He's really a true pro at this and always so professional
Yep. START SMALL. It takes years to have all those expensive equipments at your disposal and SKILLS will also go along with it. Beginners, don't get discouraged for not having this and that.
Probably one of the most useful job shadows I have ever watched. I feel I'm an experienced wedding videographer but I still was learning new things as you always should. Great work guys!!
This was an AWESOME video from A-Z. So much info and so much step by step of how its done. Emmaus did an amazing job. Easy to follow and he was a great presenter.

I will be having my first wedding video July, I must say that this video was super helpful. I will watch it over and over again before the D day. Every bit of this video is helpful. Thank you for putting this together.
One of the best virtual job shadow I've ever seen. Thank you for this beautiful content. I learned so much that I didn't even think I would. Loved all the lessons and the result at the end was amazing. Can't wait to shoot a wedding video and grow. Thank you so much. Lots of love.
Emmaus...wow! You just accomplished something...I’ve NEVER watched an HOUR long video in one sitting! 😜🤯Thank you for the MASIVE VALUE you added in this video! I’m a fan! Definitely gonna invest in Tomorrow’s Filmmakers when I can... God bless you guys! 🙌🏽🤗👊🏽🙏🏽💯
Thanks so much Emmaus and Justus. You just did an amazing job by bringing this video to us. I really love the way you remind us to always put JESUS at the centre and the first plan of our lives and business. You keep it simple though your humility, that's why you're so inspirational. God bless you. With love from Belgium!
Wow! Watched the whole video. Great and useful tips for me as a begginer wedding videographer. You and your crew do an amazing job. Thank you for sharing this with us! Cheers!
What a great video this is! I've learned so much and I'm amazed at all the hard work that goes into making a professional wedding video. I hope you have been paid accordingly. Also very nicely done in post, maybe a bit too often edited in slo-mo, but together with awesome music choice, the cinematic end result is fantastic! And... congrats to the newlywed couple!!
This is my second time watching this in its entirety! My first wedding is in April and this video is soooo helpful! Thank you! I feel like I need to buy the course though
1:08:01 and i didnt want to blink ones, you should be very proud of yourself! Going to use this as an inspiration for my future videos. Thank you for the lesson! Respect.
Wow. I just want to thank you sir Justus and brother Emmaus. You did this video for us and I appreciate it so much. I learned a lot from this video. You inspires me a lot and I'm hoping to meet you in person😊 God bless po.🥰😇
Even if I’m from east Europe and we are not talking the same language I feel like I understood every single meaning from you 😊 it looks so simple for you to explain what is must to be done in every kind of situations. Thank you so much ☺️
Thanks for the great content! This video really helps! So you’re not using variable ND filters and instead boost up the shutter speed to expose correctly? Thanks and greetings from Berlin
Robert Forever Ago Don’t worry about using ND filters and shutter speeds. It’s fine Just never go below the rule For example: if you’re shooting at 25FPS then ensure you’re shutter speed is AT LEAST 50 but never let it go below that. So always shoot double your frame rate but it doesn’t matter if you go higher into the hundreds. All it affects is motion blur
Just like all the other comments, this is the exact video I needed to build my confidence for my first wedding in August. Many thanks for the priceless advise! I will be buying the course
I thought the same thing. I think a lot of clients wouldn’t really be able to notice that there’s no motion blur so cranking SS for this type of shoot may be just fine. His footage looks incredible so I trust his advice, just wish he would’ve covered this little bit
wow. thanks for sharing this! it's so cool to follow you guiding us through how you film a wedding with constant commentary and explanation as well as the final result. cheers :)
You Have mibey Boss, you posses wide range of expensive equipment.. Haaah... Here in Malawi, Africa, those things are equivalent to cars,,, i like the passion you have, investing alit in what you like doing... Thumbs up
How cool that is to watch such a master piece on iPhone film makers... I have been in the video production business for over 25 years... producing a ton of shows with big technical crew... we were one of the first overseas in France to shoot with DSLR back in 2006 with an external depoly disk, the camera was literaly looking like a machine gun with huge lense ;)))))))) then started filming with CANON 7D and up... in 2010 one of my guy told me, one day, you'll be able to shoot anything with an iphone... which I laughed so bad! Well guess what... since I came to the US, I am now by myself, no more videographers, no more big camera set up... no sound ingenieer... just me myself and an iphone.... Started my first commercial for a friend with iphone 7!!!!!! It was a lil bit sketchy quality wise... direction wise, the movement that iPhone offered me changed the game... then Iphone 11 PRO came out and that was a game changer until this NEW iPhone 13 PRO which is a beast!!!!!!!! All I would say, like Maverick (TOP GUN) it's not about the plane!!!!!! The only PRO that I see and cannot be fixed, it's the battery... on a wedding day, it's a BIG source of stress... the second thing is the impression of the other vendors: you shoot with an iPhone???????? Yes I do... the feeling is not right, until they find out what you were able to capture and edit.... So thank you guys... you made me want to do my COMIMG OUT iPhone wise ahahhahaha... People will never get it... Thank you for that awesome video... We are Dside Productions and here is our handle on instagram, everything you see is most likely shot with an iPhone :) instagram.com/dsideprod
Awesome! I felt like I was there with you guys. So did I get it right about exposure, you just adjust the shutter speed not really paying attention to doubling the frame rate?
wow. your set up looks good and easy to. the expensive cameras. waaa. where am from will have someone monitoring the cameras while I walk around, otherwise they will disappear. good lesson dude.
Thank for a great video. Very interesting to see how it should be done nowadays and how a wedding use to be in America. All differs some from the ones I filmed in northern Europe for 20 years ago. Back then I used dedicated videocameras but of course with lower resolution. I remember the choice between being in the way but take better pics vs staying out of the way but not getting the best pictures. But I was not that professional so I used the zoom..🥶 (which I have learnt from your videos is a no-no for pros). It was quite a good zoom on those dedicated vid-cameras back then (25x optic) so you could stand a little bit away.
The preparation of the bride and groom and the wedding ceremony was so emotional that it literally made me cry. People would start wondering if I did the same thing as a cameraman 😂.
I loved every minute of this. Emmaus seems like such a lovable guy. Blessings brother. If you ever need a second shooter in San Diego, I’d be honored to serve you.
Can’t believe i just watched an 1hr long RUclips video about shooting a wedding! Great content and the videographer is such a humble professional!

After watching that whole documentary the result at the end gave me totally goosebumps 💯
Nice job!!

19:40 " doesn't have a cinematic look because it records in 24fps" Isn't that what Cinema films are? 24fps?
extremely good upload Tomorrows Filmmakers. I shattered that thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the quality work.

Filming my 2nd and 3rd wedding in 2023. Good content!
Emmaus you are a professional my friend. Both in the way you conduct yourself and your business. It’s no wonder why you’re successful!
Awesome video!! Thanks a lot. Why do you set your shutter speed at 1/800 while recording at 60p?
This is soooo good! Genuinely helpful compared to a five minute smash and grab of "tips and tricks" that leaves you even more confused.
Fantastic job shadow and example of humility and professionalism. I will check out the online courses. PS: Never chew gum as a groomsman.

Thanks for the great content! This video really helps! So you’re not using variable ND filters and instead boost up the shutter speed to expose correctly? Thanks and greetings from Berlin
That's what he says. Do you think by doing so makes it easier than using ND filters and maintaining the 180 degree shutter rule?
Robert Forever Ago Don’t worry about using ND filters and shutter speeds. It’s fine
Just never go below the rule
For example: if you’re shooting at 25FPS then ensure you’re shutter speed is AT LEAST 50 but never let it go below that. So always shoot double your frame rate but it doesn’t matter if you go higher into the hundreds.
All it affects is motion blur
Just like all the other comments, this is the exact video I needed to build my confidence for my first wedding in August. Many thanks for the priceless advise! I will be buying the course
Great video! Question for you. Why not correct your exposure with an ND filter instead of raising your shutter speed?
you want to use the 180 degree rule for shutterspeed, so it looks smooth. 30FPS / 1/60, so double your FPS
I thought the same thing. I think a lot of clients wouldn’t really be able to notice that there’s no motion blur so cranking SS for this type of shoot may be just fine. His footage looks incredible so I trust his advice, just wish he would’ve covered this little bit
@@WorkingTitleVP I’m sure they cover this more in depth in the course. At least I would hope/assume so
