I just picked up the rea600.4 glad I chose that one of all their 4 channels. It has the better input terminals and crossover controls. Think it was $95 shipped. Also the 4 Guage Amp kit from recoil. I'm grateful for you introducing this brand to me. Keep it up

Looks very similar internally to the alpine mrv-m500. Alpine has bigger Elna caps and custom driver ICs so you can’t repair their amps anymore. Not sure if the board is double sided? The diode is a RP (reverse power) diode. Put in for the type of people you were lovingly referring to about upping fuses?!
Just got the 550.4 . I have a question about rca's and speaker hookups . Mines not labeled right or left channel . Any idea what the orentation is . The speaker outputs say channel 1,2,3,4 but doesn't say which is left or right side
Thanks...that's what I figured , just wanted to make sure . It's a great little amp . Just hooked it up to 4...8in. Mids and 4 Tweeters . Sounds great . Had it cranked for an hour and stays cool
If they came out with something like the 1200.4 but with bandpass-able filters 20-400 hz hpf and 50-500 hz lpf and a 10X switch for the frequencies to cover ALL the basses itd be a massive hit I think.
I tend to use class AB for my mains, D for the sub(s). I just picked up a Recoil RED1200.1 for $125.00 on ------, spec'd out great at a little over 1261/1ohm, 165Amp draw, uncertified. Nice little powerhouse for next to noth'n! Get'm here while you can!
@@RobotUnderground this amp has so much power I wired my mids to 8 ohm for better sound quality and they still outperform the di1550.4 I had before :). Sound is amazing

I messaged Larry about the specs on their entry level subs. They sent me the manual and they had a link in it to "winisd pro" but it goes to an old link that has been taken over by some adult ads. ROFL
That's because they think your question is dumb and you probably shouldn't be asking it but I've already done tests and TSPs on all three drivers just search for it in my videos

Maybe you bought the domain that the manual is linked to and posted the adult ads on it. Sounds like something you would do. Makes sense you would have tested their RW line, but the thought didn't cross my mind.

You should NEVER change the fuse rating - ever! Fuses are there for a reason and they are a very cheap alternative to a FIRE! ;)

Group A = Channel 1&2
Group B = Channel 3&4
