Love this theme! So agree Starlight is the holidays in a bottle. Erik has such amazing taste! Pat just sniffed GS yesterday from my collection out of curiosity and was “this is nice!”. I also like Tobacco from Maissa better than TV. And yes! Tiessendu would be the perfect snowboarding scent! 🤩🙌❤️

GORL I wore Starlight when I went to Japan this past October and oh LORD it absolutely sings in cold weather! I also wore Raised Spirits, Absolute Aphrodisiac, and Liis Bo there. Of course, all of which were recommended by you, and all of which are oh so good in cooler weather (for me, cooler weather means 20-17 degrees celsius, which isn't cold COLD either to be completely honest lol). Absolutely love your recommendations!

You know what reminds me of the holidays is Baccarat Rouge (or in my case Orientica’s Amber Rouge). It just has a sparkling and festive nature to it! 🙂
Amazing videos! Im so glad to use your analysis and you describe some that Ive worn so accurately. I arrived into London and staying at Covent Garden. There are crazy # of frag stores all over and top ones. At Covent Garden mall I stumbled on Miller Harris. I never heard of it. I put on Black Datura. Wow!!! It makes me feel so good wearing it! It is a very uplifting pleasant scent. After 2 hours walking outside, I walk into a Vodafone store. The young lady is so amazed at my scent and asked what it was. She said run into store and buy it. Feuilles de Tabac was sooooo good too! The tabacco leaf is fresh and overall this fresh cologne smells sooo good! It gets a tad sweet as time goes. At Miller Harris the frags were so full of natural scent and clearly depicted. I tried Violet Ida and the Iris note jumped out strong. I have Dior Homme Intense and the iris note is subtle. Also Tobacco Honey is amazing! The honey note is soft and tobacco is slight. The spice in it is mellow. I just started my journey and cant wait to hit Harrods today, Self Ridges, and other stores. Harrods perfume room is like 10X Nordstrom from my previous experience. This was before I got into colognes. I only had 1 frag for 8 years.

Cacao Porcelana is a beautiful woody amber that I am wearing quite a bit of late and will be pulling a lot from my collection through the holiday festivities. The cacao pod, rum, immortelle, tonka and sandalwood are blended and balanced beautiful and don’t clash around food. I actually can’t seem to put it down.
Grand Soir was love at first sniff, but I really want to get my hands on Dulce Diablo and add Stralight to my Xerjoff collection! Thank you for these recommendations ❤

I have that ebk ruby vanilla intense. It’s so good. It also stays in the room or air for a long time. I sprayed it in my hotel bathroom and when I came back I can smell it in there. So nice!!!

Dulce Diablo is my holiday winter fave! There are soo many chocolate scents but I don’t like those with orange. So when I smelled the powdery apricot and smoky cognac with the chocolate…..MY GOODNESS!! I make my hubby put it on at night and one can’t help but hug and power cuddle, just that luscious and sexy, yummy!!
One I associate with the Holiday is “By The Fireplace” which is my teen daughters signature scent! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I personally get good performance out of it, but I'd pick up a sample to see if it's to your liking :) Others I enjoy include Navitus Reve Nuit, BDK Gris Charnel Extrait, The 7 Virtues Santal Vanille, Carolina Herrera Amethyst Haze, & Nishane Ani

My Christmas day scent is Costume National Homme. Sweet spicy sandalwood potpourri.
For Thanksgiving I might layer Le Dandy Pour Homme by D'Orsay (overall favorite gourmand from 1999 with Whiskey, Rum, Plum, Peach and Pineapple; middle notes are Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger, Clove and Cardamon; base notes are Tobacco, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Peru Balsam, Tonka Bean and Patchouli), Serge Lutens Arabie (" notes of cedar and sandal blend in with sweet notes of candied mandarin, dried fig and date. Nutmeg, cumin and clove at the heart pervade the composition with hot spicy notes. Aromatic bay-leaf, harsh and pleasant, joins the spices, dwelling in dense resin waves of Tonka, Siamese benzoina and myrrh. The final accord of labdanum joins aromatic opulence into a harmonic wholeness."), Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau (buttered bread bakery smell) and maybe MMM Replica By the Fireplace for overall effect.

I've only tried Ginger Biscuit! I think it smells really good, photorealistic ginger cookies, just too literal gourmand for my personal taste
