    Caught you on replay because we were dealing with Ian. We are fine and never lost power but it sure was wet and windy for many hours. I’m torn between Rocher or gift cards. If you take a small sharp scissors you can give it the fuzzy side of the Velcro a little haircut and then it won’t be so “grippy” and less likely to pull the paper up

    ? How do you score on acrylic to get it to crease/fold without cracking? Thanks!

    • @ThePaperPixie
      @ThePaperPixie  Год назад

      Hi Violet! When I score on acetate (which is what I think you mean instead of acrylic), I fold it opposite the way I fold paper. So I turn the valley score line into a valley fold. It’s less stress on the acetate that way and I haven’t had problems with it cracking.

    i LOVE YOUR VIDS!! Julie I bought a Martha wash...oops I mean Stewart scoring tool a while back. I'm starting to use it more, but it continually tears the paper. I try to make a soft score line but fail pretty much all the time. Any suggestions ??

    • @ThePaperPixie
      @ThePaperPixie  Год назад

      Hi Debbie! Are you using high quality paper like Stampin’ Up? Poor quality paper can tear really easily with scoring tools. Also, the tool that comes with the Martha Stewart scoring tool is plastic if I remember, so it doesn’t always play nice with paper. I’m a huge fan of a metal scoring tool like what comes with the Simply Scored. Our Take Your Pick Tool has a metal scoring stylus attachment, which works really well too.

    Hi. I was watching on replay from Denmark, and I have just tried to make some of the lovely boxes , and I notices that if you use directional patterned paper, the pattern will be upside down on the little flap, that folds over on the front... . You could maybe cover it with an embellishment or something (or simply just choose non-directional paper.) Just thought I would mention it.

    Have you tried the Hersey Truffles, both dark & milk chocolate? Same size as nuggets but oh so yummy!

      I saw them, but haven't tried them yet! They look delish! A little pricier than regular Nuggets!

      Paper Pixie, yes. For making multiples, cheaper to buy Nuggets. But for a special few, the Truffles are delightful!

      @@ThePaperPixie there’s an error when I press the link. I live in the Philippines but buy most of my supplies from the U.S. Is there a way to buy this even if I’m not from the U.S.? This is Nenette by the way-- we “met” thru Leda.❤️

      Oh hi, Nenette! Unfortunately I can only sell and ship within the US.
