I didn’t have many friends growing up so I’m not really fond of my childhood but this game is one of the few good memories I cherish. I used to sit in my tiny dark room with my tiny television and play this on my PS1 for hours. It is actually the first campaign I ever completed. This game kept me company and because of that it will always have a special place in my heart. ✌🏼

If you watch the end cut scene, you can see how much Chris has changed. He's not the same man he was at the beginning of the game. The battle has changed him, which is why he says he has nothing to celebrate. He lost his own brother due to the war, so that kind of explains why he barely has any emotion in that final cutscene.
Although this game was awesome, it still bothered me that they never explained what happened to the US military. Its like they took a vacation and just let the soviets have Manhattan and left it up to these rebels to expel them from the country. Like wth. Still fun though.
i guess they received orders from high commands not to resist and lay down their weapons.
army is busy elsewhere, the game doesnt not take place in the frontline

There's still an additional mission after beating the game (liberty island)

@@malayparag After taking control of the Fort Jay (the last base in governor's island), a cut scene plays then the credits.
If you load your profile, you'll find a list of all the locations of the game. Click on the last location (liberty island) and take out the last breath of the game.
Some say you need to beat the game in revolutionary difficulty in order to open this one, but it appeared to me even though i complete the game in freedom fighter difficulty level.
