Hey Luis, good content again mate. The other great part for you doing these reviews on overseas balls is that for people outside the US these are what are in our pro shops. We don’t have anything like demo days etc, so with overseas releases you are mostly buying balls blind with a hope they will be good. 👍
It's good that you gave the ball more surface, because it made the ball motion very smooth. Should it ever come to the U.S., I wouldn't be surprised if Storm gives it their new surface prep (4000 fast). This ball will be a success. Thanks.
Even if you can't just walk into your pro shop and get these balls I think there's a lot of value in these because it being niche it makes it hard to find info on them so if I were to get one or want one now there's some info out there that wasn't before and that's always a good thing imo. I love seeing stuff like this anyway. There's been a few times I've had an eye on an overseas but lack of info makes them hard to bet on unless I'm familiar with the cover and core already.
Amazing looking ball. My favorite overseas ball is the Roto Grip Attention T. I've got 1 I've polished and 1 at the factory 2000 and it's so smooth and really continues through the pin deck. I've got a mega lock too, but it's hard to throw much because none of the houses by me put enough oil out to give it a better look then my Attentions. I'm hoping to see the Attention core come state side because for me it's the best core I've ever thrown. I enjoy the Black pearl and Grip (Attentions) as well.

Great review bud, I have 1 of these and can't leave it in the bag! I'm from the UK. I use this all the time. I also have a zen spirit. This is an overseas ball you could review. I haven't had chance to use it much yet as the ghost lock is too good atm. I also have a zen soul. This is a step down ball for me. I would think it is like a hyroad hybrid I think. A little stronger though but not much. Keep up the great videos bud!
highly recommend getting a Marvel Maxx if you want to invest in another overseas ball. Have a Marvel Maxx Pearl which is a couple years old, Marvel core + NRG Pearl and I love it especially on sport conditions. Have a friend who just got a Marvel Maxx Tour which has NEX Hybrid and that rolls amazing too
i have all the lock balls too, i had 2 super locks and they BOTH CRACKED! Ghost lock is the best by far! i have 2. 14 original locks, 2 snap locks, 2 dual locks, 2 sure locks, shadow lock, 2 mega locks, etc...

I have a ghost lock, hyroad wave, Track In2ition solid, Virtual Tour Exclusive, Epic Crux, Natural Enemies Killer Bee, and a few others for me it’s a tossup between the Ghost and the Killer Bee
In my experience, the Trend 2 and IQNP both work best for me at 2000 and 3000, rather than shined up. I wonder if it's just me, or maybe NRG just works best a bit chalky regardless of the exact formula (i.e. solid/hybrid/pearl).
Man that trend 2 is stupid strong on ths when sanded. Obviously a lot of variables. I bowl on desert conditions with high friction lanes alot. Regardless, factory shine is useless except on balls like altered reality that can read mids. However, I find 500, 1000 powerhouse is best polish combo I've found.
I feel a really good comparison to this ball would be the rubicon uc2. Both clean and angular plus the colors of the balls are nearly the same 🤣. Possible future video? 👀
That ball looks pretty good. It sucks if you are in a bit of a slump but we all get there. Pro nor not. I have noticed my games falling off some lately and I have been practicing more than ever. I have a bum hip I need replaced and I find myself learning bad habits to counter for when it is hurting. When it really hurts I have to step off my left leg early. But because I keep playing anyway I find myself doing it some when I do not need to. Of course I loose my leverage on me ball and even though I hit the pocket about 85% of time I find myself hanging single pins. Like the 5 pin that I hardly ever left before. Not saying you are doing the same things that I am doing but I think it is important to realize when it is time to go home for the day and start fresh another day. To me there comes a point that the more I practice when things just are not clicking for me the worse I hurt my game. I am not saying I am going home every time I have a bad game, but it is so easy to embrace a bad habit when you are having a off game. I know you are going to do good in this game and your videos has helped me and many others greatly. But you are a great bowler and I love when you show your misses as well. Anyone can edit a video of nothing but strikes. Thanks for keeping it real.
Looks A LOT like an RST-X2. Clean but then a little mid lane read and relatively round off the spot. That's without looking at specs but to my eye RST-X2 is pretty close.

@@LuisNapoles. I haven't bought it. All this time I still use the simple and coreless Columbia 300 WD and Culumbia 300 Jazz that I bought each in 2007 and 2011. Both of them are 10 lbs (because I am a below average size south east asian person 😅). A pro shop worker nearby my area suggested me a few 11 lbs brands and models with core jist in case if I would like to have an upgrade. Those models are Storm Ghost Lock 11 lbs, Storm Idol 11 lbs, Motiv Mythic Jackal 11 lbs, Motiv Coral Blue Venom 11 lbs, and Motiv Blue Tank 11 lbs. I believe those 11 lbs Motivs that I listed just now are also for oversea market and not available in the US. Those 11 lbs Motivs use their own corresponding cover stocks (Mythic Jackal, Coral Blue Venom, Blue Tank, etc), but use the same standardised core (the Quadfire core found on some discontinued Motiv balls) and are polished to the same standardised 2000 grit.
I have both balls and even on storms coverstock chart the super lock is Nex which is stronger than Nrg2 I love them both but the super lock for me is considerably stronger than the ghost lock. I’m curious why you didn’t adjust the surface to factory 1500 instead of 4000. Isn’t that like polishing it without polish at that grit?

Was thinking about getting the phaze 2 as my starter and then the original hy-road for transition and then finally a pitch black for my third ball. Does that seem like a solid Lineup? I am no pro. Just make sure you understand when to thro that urethane. Most the time they do best on real short patterns. Most house shots they are not a great choice unless you have a lot of revs on the ball. I am a lower rev rate guy and don't use them myself. Also understand that they must be wiped off every throw regardless or they will not react the same way twice. All bowling balls should have the oil wiped off before throwing them but is even more important throwing urethane. High road is a no brainer and a staple for any bowling bag. If you want a good reactive for light conditions or beat up lanes look at the camo hustle. It is one of Luis favorite balls too. Not saying the pitch black is a bad choice. But also some of your opponents especially on league get bent out of shape about people using them because they do cause more carry down. They are great when the condition is right for them but most often house shots are set up for reactive balls. Phase 2 is a solid ball too I purchased one for my son in-law. I am not partial to any brand but I have mostly hammer and motiv in my current bag. I am no expert I just got back into bowling last year after 15 years off. But You tube has been a great help. A lot of good advise out there. I have had several 700' this season and it thanks to videos like this. Best of luck for you.

With the polish it CAN be a go to ball but I like it more with the surface on the fresh

I wouldn’t recommend a pitch black for a 3rd spot in the bag. Urethane is for the fresh

How does 30x40xwhatever translate into the only nu.bers I know that are single digits. 5x4x2? Just wondering. Haven't heard these weird big nu.bers when it comes to the layout yet. Thanks
