Omg soooo TRUE about dopamine!!! I literally did a 1 day complete dopamine detox where I just walked, read physical books, and went to the gym with no music or audio books and I didn’t look at my phone or laptop all day… the very next day I walked by a river I walk by all the time and it literally looked so unbelievably beautiful and I was like wow why does it look so different today… and then I realised it’s because of the detox!!!

While I'm doing for inner work, i was so resentful, bitter of my parents for traumatizing me and for turning me into something that i hate
But wait! While i was releasing the traumas off my body, something clicked in me. I don't have to be something that I hate. Who says that once people traumatized me, i can't heal and be the person that i love again? I don't have to let them damage me and turned me into something that i am not and hated
So i give my body the permission to release the traumas. So what if they traumatized me? I believe i can heal and I'll release it
So i released it and my body released it. I feel all the pain, the trapped emotions that have long been lingering in my body, it's finally coming out
I give my body the permission to release it. Also i told my body that i don't want to dissociate anymore. It's a garbage coping mechanism. It's fine now. Release it

I actually have a desire to live in multiple countries. Don’t know how but I would like to figure it out and make it happen some how. Maybe not multiple, maybe two or three. I also want to get the splits 😂 I’ll try holding the half splits for 30 seconds at a time whenever I stretch. But I do deep stretching after my work outs. So we shall see.

Alexis, as a follower of Chris how do you hold this space in your mind that you are deserving of this when others are suffering? I don't mean this in a mean way AT ALL! I'm trying to do a journal prompt of my dream life, dream income dream, business and I am having a block of sadness and guilt to be asking God for blessings when there are people in the world suffering and when Jesus had nothing and lived a life of service!
The man who buried Jesus was rich. Paul talks about rich believers using their riches to be a blessing to others in the New Testament. I would encourage you to study the New and Old Testaments and not lean on your own understanding or on "religion".
David became King and was rich. Joseph went from slavery to being second in command to Pharaoh and Rich. Esther went from being an orphan to a Queen and rich.
But God placed them in these postions to be a BLESSING to other people, to save lives, to change lives. You have to use what God gives you to bless others and never lose sight of Him.

I have a question - Once you’ve identified you have a limiting belief, and you’ve journaled on it, and found the root/events that led to that belief. What do you do from there? To heal / break free from that?
Since you've done the inner-work to discover this limiting belief, your mind and body can start healing on its own. ✨✨ Your mind will be able to process emotion now that you've subconsciously commanded it to, and that's why on random days you'll have little emotional lingerings of grief sometimes. Your body can release trapped emotions that have been stored, so it is as if your body is emptied and full of space. A lot of things happen JUST by awareness, and it is your job to affirm to your whole vessel of being that you are safe and capable, that's it. You need to live your life as if you've never had that limiting belief now that you've discovered it though. Now your body and mind are releasing and processing, you can help demand evolution by doing things you have limiting beliefs over. Sometimes it will be uncomfortable, but trust me, you're unstoppable now.
Aghhh... Alexis you are too good. I paused the video and completed my journaling (I've been contemplating between going back to a 9-5 and taking my business more slowly, or carrying on through the struggle of starting up) and I wrote that I don't believe I can be successful in business because a) I haven't had any financial success yet, and that I can't connect to excitement about my business because b) past enthusiasm has not corresponded with success (teaching me that my enthusiasm is not a good signal.) I almost left it at that but a series of synchronicities (incl something you mentioned) led me to meditate on it a little longer. What I ended up writing is that it's untrue that I haven't been successful, I've been successful in so many ways in the past it's just that I haven't learnt to be successful *without any form of guidance.* 35 minutes in you related this thought back to your own life and living alone; how you're not used to seeing yourself so fully without having others to bounce yourself off of. And that's exactly the distinction I was trying to make! It feels so helpful to become aware of and accept this discomfort as a stretching - because it's new! Thank you so much for sharing your journey Alexis, there's always such amazing takeaways :)

The scrolling on tiktok bc not wanting to look at yourself fully!!!! Man listen i moved across the country to Miami Florida by myself with no family no friends out here about 2 years ago at 20 years old… ive been learning myself sooo much.. lots of inner work sometimes it’s overwhelming but in the end its worth it. Your videos help me alot, push me to keep going. It can be upsetting cause i feel like i’m the only one trying to get ahead in life & release what no longer serves me. I could write a whole book on the last 2 years 😅😂

I'm just at the beginning of this video so far but I thought of you when two weeks in a row, I stopped at a poke bowl place to pick up my order in a busy little shopping center. I said, "There's a spot waiting for me in front..." First week, there was a spot in front and even more spaces opened up even after I walked into the store and got my order. Second week, there wasn't a spot as I was driving up until I got closer and a few people in front were all leaving at once and I got a spot. It's actually quite amazing what can happen when you put the proper energy out there. Haha. There's NEVER, in all the years I have been picking up my food, been so many open spots in front waiting for me. I can't help but feel powerful and looking forward to manifesting more for myself in life.
