This is incredible! I love how you seperared the different themes that play a role in her life (motherhood, Daemon, Alicent etc.). A lot of edits feel like random scenes of the character stitched together, but this one really feels like there is an internal structure. Easily one of the best HotD edits I‘ve seen. I love it so much!

Love this! Also….just my 2 cents & maybe it doesn’t belong here so if you don’t want spoilers for episode 10 don’t read anymore. Apparently I saw the choking scene differently than everyone else so far. I’ve been impatiently waiting for the after show to hear what they have to say on it, but here is how I saw it. So, Daemon saw what his brothers dreams did to him. His dreams killed the love of his life & he allowed his dreams to consume him over everything else. His kingdom, his family, his health, his dynasty, everything. He thought they were more important than the dragons. Daemon is ready to go to war to take back the throne & he doesn’t understand Rhaenyra’s reluctance to take up arms. We know she has a duty to keep the 7 kingdoms united b/c of the song of ice & fire & she assumes Daemon is aware of this prophecy. But as soon as she utters the word “dream” when the room clears & Daemon is trying to understand why she doesn’t seem more angry he flips out because it’s like he sees her turning into his brother all over again. He wants action, which they are both right, but all he can see is his brother never doing anything & letting others take over & kill him in the end & the thought of the same happening to Rhaenyra is unbearable & his immediate reaction is to grab her & make her see sense because all he sees is red in that moment. You can’t look at it as though they are modern day characters. They are DRAGONS. She just literally delivered her own damn baby in the other room like 5 minutes ago. She’s not some fragile beaten & battered little woman. She’s a DRAGON. She can handle Daemon. You can literally see the panic in his eyes when he’s grabbing her & speaking to her in the moment trying to downplay the importance of dreams & basically trying to tell her don’t turn into your father right now. We have to be dragons in this moment or they will win. And then when he pushes her away he realizes the betrayal by his brother not telling him of this as his heir before waking away. You can hear it in Rhaenyra’s voice when she realizes he never knew. You can’t look at him choking her through the same lense as you would a normal woman or a normal relationship in my opinion. Viserys said it himself in episode 4 when he said they are dragons. They are chaotic. I mean, look at how her dragon was reacting to her being in labor for goodness sake. They are not normal! People need to chill about this scene in my opinion! I don’t think it really means as much as people are trying to put to it. I bet they even have a bit of kinky fun in the bedroom too. Sheesh. She probably even throws stuff at him sometimes when they fight & I wouldn’t be surprised if her dragon hasn’t dracarysed his butt a few times. Everyone seems to forget when she literally DARED him to cut through her fathers kingsguard at her betrothal dinner to STEAL her away to Dragonstone & marry her & he literally grabbed her face to kiss her & god knows what else in the middle of the dance floor in front of everyone if chaos had not ensued at that moment. This isn’t a fairytale romance. They are 2 chaotic people who do, I believe, love each other but they are also toxic when driven to extremes because they are dragons unlike any others in this show.
Great love is wild and dangerous. It burns and consumes, until there is nothing left. I’ve been in a relationship just like Daemon & Rhaneryas, it gives you the highest highs and lowest lows.

But like many, I can't get past the moment where Daemon strangles Rhaenyra Whatever villain he is - Daemon loves his family, blood In Rhaenyra he saw a brother whom he revered and loved in his own way. And when he was gone, she speaks of the prophecy of Aegon the Conqueror - which was passed only from ruler to ruler, which offended Daemon. In childhood and after the coronation, they remained close, of course in the characteristic Damon manner. But I can say from personal experience that younger children always respect and love their older brothers/sisters. Just what Martin ordered, I think... Daemon was offended (angry), roughly speaking, reacted in his usual manner to the prophecy from Rhaenyra. He believed that his brother told him everything, but everything turned out differently. And the fact that he saw his brother in Rhaenyra only made it worse. Daemon was scared that she, like her father, would be inactive Also, many believe that he did not care about the loss of their common daughter. However, everything is not so, Daemon avenged both her and Luke - the one who was nothing to him, but was the child of his beloved woman. He ordered the murder of Aegon II firstborn, and then killed Aemond, dying in the same battle. Sorry for the mistakes and wrong sentence structure, English is not my native language

Why does everyone think that Daemon choking Rhaenyra was a random or an evil response????? The director of the show clearly said, that "Demon lost it when he realised that viserys NEVER trusted him enough as his heir. He easily told Aegon's dream to Rhae but not Daemon. Daemon loved his brother and the lack of trust BROKE him and all his pain turns into rage only to come out on Rhae." PERIOD. I believe that Daemon didn't mean to hurt Rhae but the director also added, that Daemon is capable of much more darker things than this.
Y'all need to realize that Rhaenyra actually *likes* the aggression, it's been confirmed. It's one of the main reasons why she's attracted to him. Also, he wasn't intending to hurt her, more like "slap her back into reality". It's still not okay, but it wasn't seen as abusive in *Rhaenyra's* eyes.

But if you can recall, the timing is when Rhaenyra shared the Song of Fire and Ice which was from "Aegon's dream." In a previous episode a drunk Daemon compares himself to Aegon the Conquer, when he argues he had two wives-he was married to Rhea but wanted Rhaenyra. Viserys held Aegon in very high regards, because he drew his sword and placed it up to his throat. This showed the audience and Daemon -that Viserys did not find him equal to Aegon -Viserys told Daemon he was no Conqueror. Ten years on, Rhaenyra mentions the dream of Fire and Ice told by "Aegon the Conqueror" that her father shared with her only. This is when Daemon grabbed her by the throat and attempted to tell her it was her father's own self-glory that he spoke of, etc.. When he released his grip, Rhaenyra said, "He didn't tell you" with a slight smile. These are the key words to that scene. For Daemon it was remembering Viserys' behavior and banishing him again - and now, Daemon finds out that Viserys did not find him trustworthy with Aegon's dream that had passed down through Targaryens for centuries-but Viserys shared Aegon's secret with Rhaenyra because he found her trustworthy. ruclips.net/video/BpSho5E_Apk/видео.html

He was supposed to be a Byronic Hero, GRRM’s own word which I agree wholeheartedly. And Sara Mess the rape apologist didn’t grasp what BYRONIC or grayness entail!!!
