After watching several of your videos, I've found that you're probably one of the most genuine and kind creators on RUclips. Please keep doing what you are doing - it's really good work.

Thank you all for the kind words... This computer is just about finished for reviews now, game videos will continue to post for awhile, but I'm working on other machines now, some new videos on the HP laptop will post soon, then I'll move on to the Dell 4k laptop! :) I also want to get a build video done this month.

Well my son and I finally performed the upgrade of ram and SSD device. We had your video playing in background on a tablet as we worked on my
grandson's Cyberpower PC. It went great, and the only snall glitch for us was the software was a bit different.
The Samsung SSD had a link to Samsung application and they called it DATA MIGRATION.
Process was a bit different but your info on changing bootup and formatting old drive were just fantastic.
Thanks so much for all the info and details and links you presented...it made these upgrades go super smooth.

So easy when you explain it. Added my FIRST 500GB ssd to my ibuypower pc. It had a 120gb SSD and a 1TB HDD. Amazed they BOTH filled up in like a few months. New one has been added as a new Drive and I cloned the OLD SSD (which was what Windows was booting from) to the bigger SSD. Its now my new drive C, with the old ssd formatted and being used to store all my old RUclips Vids. Thank you Tech Deals, you rule all.

Wow, this tutorial was the best and very timely. I bought this exact PC for my grandson 2 years ago, and for this Christmas, he wanted a SSD drive and boost in RAM.
Your details and flow were so informative, and the links to the items were so thoughtful. Very happy you mentioned the screws and cable also.
Just a tremendous job, and I sincerely thank you. Don't understand any thumbs down for a perfect tutorial. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Must say even for a guy like myself who's been building computers for more than 15 years even I find your vids to be more than informative but also simply enlightening and entertaining, You are beyond professional and thorough with all of your reviews. I actually watched this entire series on this computer here including most of the ones on the game tests. Phenomenal and so simplistic how you conduct your reviews. SUBBED + LIKED! keep them coming! have a great day :)

Glad I found this vid again. I bought this exact system 2 years ago after watching your review. On the most part it's still a great machine for the price I paid. Since then I've had to replace the front case fans as one completely seized and another was dying. Now I'm getting ready to add an SSD and since the case fans is my only experience with upgrading or repairing a pc this vid will be a great help.

Great video, thanks. I just used this to install a Samsung Evo 850. I suggest you NOT use the Samsung Migration software with the Evo. I had trouble getting the system to use the SSD to boost. Googling, I found that the free Macrium Reflect works better, and it worked fine for me. Reflect copies some hidden partitions that the Samsung software does not.

Thanks for making this video as it helped me upgrade my old first gen i7 laptop's factory HDD to an SSD because I didn't know you could clone Windows from the original drive to another. If I hadn't watched this I would have just installed a fresh installation of Windows 10 and all my apps to the new drive, which I did a couple months ago to see if it would improve start up times and performance, but it didn't, which was quite disappointing, cloning Windows to a new Samsung Evo 850 SSD did, and cloning the whole system saved me lots of time. Now it starts up, shuts down and opens apps really fast. Brought the old girl back to life.

it is about time I see what is inside that CyberPowerPC. All I've been seeing in the past were the red fans lol. You got pretty good lighting too! You need more subs man, especially those who are new to pc building. The big ones started with simple videos too but now most of them promote products which most people can't afford and I am one of those people drooling over computer hardware I can't afford. Love your videos, I'm almost done watching this (even if I already know, I just play it because the content is good)

just got this PC tonight. Ordered on Black Friday and receive it today (bummer). the only thing bad about this PC is that horrible HDD. GOING to add a SSD and then do a clean install.
Also, the RAM they installed are Single channel.
Also, if you want to upgrade video card, you might need to buy a new mobo because the Data slots are blocking the video card.

I think you should edit out the "And we're back" bits. As long as you tell us you're trimming, we can figure out the rest. A transition card would work, as well.
That said, I love your content. One of my chief complaints with most tech channels is the disconnect between the audience---which seems to skew young and/or noob and/or budget conscious---and the gear---which definitely skews high end. I get that a lot of this driven by the manufacturers and the review hardware they send. But it'd be nice if the Usual Suspects had a test bench with something other than enthusiast class components. So they review and bench a 1060 or 480 every once in a while. It's not real world when it's plugged into a $200+ mobo with a $1000+ CPU and $300 RAM.
But you, my friend? Right there with off-the-shelf, sweet spot gear. Kudos.

Tech Deals - Is your gaming computer also your render/video editing computer? Because I learned from you that games don't require hyper-threading, but most video editing/encoding software does. Great video by the way -- strongly considering this purchase. Mostly wanted to know the motherboard (MSI Gaming B150M Bazooka) and how to clone the win 10 install to the SSD.

Quick question and I'm sure the answer is no but I just want to be sure. I do not need to hook up the SSD and the HDD to the same Power cord correct in order to clone? I can use 2 separate cords and still clone correct. Thank you for your time best wishes and keep up the great work.

Hey, new subscriber here. Love the channel. I was hoping to get some insight from you. Do you think it would be worth it to wait for the GTX 1060 model w/ 128GB NvME SSD for an additional $50 bucks? Figure I can buy a decent SSD for $100. Then the question is, RX 480 or 1060. At the end of the day, the cost will be the same, difference being NvME ssd and 1060 or Standard SSD and RX 480. Thanks for your insight!

    • @TechDeals
      @TechDeals  8 лет назад

Honestly... I'd buy the $700 version and add this - amzn.to/2ee5bYJ
Why? More than double the SSD space for $20 more, and a very nice RX 480 GPU, and you can actually buy it, who knows when the $750 version will be for sale.
