  • An Osage orange, reflex, deflex, recurved, competition, longbow, which pulls a mere 24 lbs at 28”. The arrows are 300+- grains. To compare the cast with other weighted bows the arrows would need to be 10 grains per 28” draw pounds, or 240 grains, but I don’t think it’s possible to get wood arrows at that low weight. I actually tapered these arrows to get them down to 300 grains. However I did get a 160 fps reading through my chronograph. The bow is being shot at 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards, by my left handed Grandson, who doesn’t shoot that often, but I think he did a pretty good job. I mainly wanted to see the arrow flight at different distances. I’ll be bringing this bow and others to the Tenn Classic this weekend. See some of you there
